Posted 15 years agoSo yeah, I think Saturday's are an appropriate day to do a weekly journal! :D
I went to a concert last night staring my friend's band. They did awesome! The only thing was that the guitars were unnecessarily loud. A guy standing next to me started bleeding out of his right ear... I'm not joking! I now have a constant ringing in my right ear that my friend said would go away. :D
Anyway, I'm sorry If I haven't done any artwork at all. Lately I've been struggling to make time in an already busy schedule. And also I'm feeling uninspired as of late. :/ But I know inspiration will strike again; it always does. Oh, and my MacBook is doing fine. I don't need to repair it, but it does have some battle scars! >.>
So yeah, after this week is over, I'm practically done with me Anatomy & Physiology class so I should have some more time freed up! Hope ya'll are doing great. If you need anything drop me a note!

Worst Day of the Year
Posted 16 years agoOk, so here's my story:
I was at school today going out to the car to get my workout uniform and put my books and stuff away. I had my MacBook with me as always, seeing as how I take notes on it. For safety reasons, I put it in my backpack, but for some idiotic reason, I was carrying it out to the car. Long story short, the wind picked up so hard that I dropped my MacBook in a soft case onto the asphalt from about chest level. D:< It was dented in one of the corners and when I took the battery out to examine it, I couldn't put it back in because of the external damage. (The dent was causing a blockage for the battery compartment.) So I'm going to the Apple Store to see how much a repair will cost. I'm estimating well over $500. :'(
So here's the deal: I don't have a job and need to make the money fast! I'm going to apply at Gamestop but I really really would appreciate it if you guys would pick up a funktastic commission. If you don't want to that's fine, but I really could use the extra cash. Look in my gallery for the example of the artwork I'm proposing and shoot me an e-mail at igorixx@yahoo.com. You can also reply to this journal or note me. I'm really at a loss seeing as how I need this to be fixed because I think there may be internal damage to my MacBook and it's my only comp. D: I plan on doing my official artwork with my characters really really soon so then you can get a good idea of what my style is and whether or not you want to buy from me.

I'm stuck doing extra homework in my 12th grade Trigonometry class because I failed the final last semester. I don't get why my school is doing this! I passed the last semester with and A. I'm just a bad final taker. Well, whatever... back to homework.
I haven't journaled here at all so I'm going to more often. Here's a couple of random updates:
This is my final semester in high school so I'm rally happy. I'm waiting to see if GCSU will accept me. I'm going to be majoring in Creative Writing and Graphic Design and/or Journalism.
I'm not that busy next month so I will be dropping a few art gifts to some of my favorite artists just to get my name out there more and such. So if you're one of my friends, you might get a gift! ;)
Aaaannndd, my Xbox live is about to run out... TT-TT But it'll give me more time to work on some campaigns I need to finish like Assassin's Creed 2 and Mass Effect. (Yeah I know, Mass Effect is old news, but I just never got around to buying it...)
So yeah, that's everything for now! Message me/shout/comment if you ever wanna chat or talk about art/commissions/anything in particular. :D

Funktastic Commisions
Posted 16 years agoOk so here's the deal! I'll be honest: I need money. I have been trying to decide what to do about this when a thought occurred to me: What about art commissions? So here's me offer:
I will gladly create a piece--which I'm titling "Funktastic Commissions"--for you that closely resembles this piece which I made as a gift for Kuron

I will draw two characters of your choice and use their theme colors as the background, or any colors of your choice. All of this for $15! So yeah, pretty cheap, huh? It's not that expensive to make and it's really fun to do.
I am willing to take on five slots for now. Payment needs to be via PayPal. I've never done commissions before so this may not work, but I'm willing to try! Leave a comment if you want one and then note me the details such as the characters, colors, references, and facial expressions!
