Parties
Do you have a party planned?
This year there is no solid (public) room party but keep your eyes on my twitter for any updates on that.
I will have DJ equipment with me and I do plan on having one or two private parties with close friends while working on filming the con video.

Do you know of any parties?
I do! But I'll only be bringing my roommates to these parties pre-planned, otherwise, just be with me in the moment and I will get you there!

Can you help me boost my party?
Sure, just ask before the con kicks off and I will see about getting things set up for you - lights, sound, DJ's etc.

CONVENTION
Will you be fursuiting?
There is always a chance one of my friends will squeeze me into their suit, I particularly love the weather for suiting at MFF - expect to see me in a kigu the entire time though!

Where will you be most of the time during the day/s?
I will probably stick to the main lobby during day light hours or I will be seeking/hunting down people to eat pizza with, as thta is the only food I consume during MFF. (I wish I was joking, I am about that deep dish)

Post-Eurofurence 20 Journal!

Eurofurence 20 was an adventure filled experience that I will surely never forget.

Part one: Road Trip.
It all started with a long journey through Europe. Fairlight (duskpanda) met up at Bunnyrah's home the night before the road trip where we all hung out, ate a home cooked meal by Nikko, and went to sleep early. The three of us then set off early in the morning to catch the ferry out from Dover England to France. The destination of the first leg of the road trip was the Netherlands where we would meet up with other furs and stay for the night. After ferry ride and some beautiful photos of Dover - we arrived in France - where I swiftly took advantage of the backseat and entered a prolonged cat-nap. For the next few hours, I would awake periodically in a new country, asking where we were, and fall back asleep until we arrived in the Netherlands.

Part two: The Dutch furs!
After traveling for most of the morning and into the late after-noon the first stretch of the road trip through Europe had come to an end. The three of us arrived in the Netherlands and began exchanging greetings with the other furs who were also spending the night and driving to EF20 the next day. These fur would soon become some of my favorite furs to run into and go on adventure with at Eurofurence. I am so glad to have gotten this chance to meet this group before the convention and I will totally be making a trip over to the Netherlands just to hang out with them again in the future. I also found it funny that I traveled thousands of miles away and ran into Fibrekitty at the dutch furs home - who has proven to be just as bouncy and green as he claims to be on twitter. :)

Part Three: The final leg of the road trip to to EF20 and Day/night 1.
We set off early in the morning with three cars headed to EF20. Shortly after getting on the road I did what cats do best and fell asleep in the backseat of the car - missing most of the beautiful scenery along the way. A few notable moments in the trip to EF20 was seeing a lack of advertising on the roadways, a large amount of green wind energy being used, and a lot of interesting/remarkable grafitti sprayed along the highways. :)

After driving most of the day we arrived at the Estrell hotel in Berlin where we would begin an almost-week long furry filled adventure. It was a Tuesday night in Berlin and furries from all over the world began trickling into the hotel lobby. This convention, unlike many others I have been to, proved to be a challenge on the first night. I was walking around trying to make some new friends, but kept finding my-self lost in a sea of people speaking other languages. After a bit of frustation and a few beers I finally found a few friends I had met in London/Netherlands and finished the night out snuggling with some fursuiters and getting a much needed nights rest.

Part Four: The convention.
I will sum up the convention the best I can here. I spent most of the days tweeting and making friends all over the convention. There are so many of you to name, so I will try my best to fit you all into this. Mirikun was one of the first furs I met at the convention (through twitter!) - I found out it was her birthday and gave her a pair of firework glasses and some candy from home and watched as she drew up cute fursonas. This moment gave me inspiration to keep meeting other furs from twitter and to enjoy the con as much as I possibly could. DrNanonium and Evilplatypus were another two furs I constantly ran into around the convention (also twitter furs!) these two made this convention one of the best I have ever experienced. When ever I was feeling a bit home-sick or actually sick with a hangover, they were there to hang out and give me company. We drank beers and chatted each others ears off and queued for events together, A perfect con friendship! I hope to see you both one day soon and cannot wait to grab some green beers again!

Parties: As far as room parties go I made it to a few.. but hanging out with the dutch furs was by far the funnest nights at the con for me. A fun drinking game turned into an out of control cuddle filled furpile where, sadly, a few furs found out how ticklish I was while Lightning-wolf used me and Saiyentom as a bed. After making a lot of noise and getting to the right level of drunkenness we then trickled down into the dance where the music didn't stop until long past 6:00 am.

The Russian furs! This group of furs made my convention nights the liveliest and funnest nights I have ever had at a furry convention. Sitting by the bonfire outside, smoking shisha, drinking vodka, laughing our asses off and comparing experiences in life. By the end of the convention I had fallen in love with all of them, and still miss this group to this day. I have to thank Enaya for giving me the blue fennec painting that is now hanging on my wall in my bedroom, it reminds me of you all every day - I especially cannot wait to see you all again. This group was not just Russians, there was a few Aussies and a fur from Belgium who were just as wonderful to be around.

Though I do not have both of their FA names right now - I met two German furs who really brought my spirits up one night when I was sitting all alone by the bonfire. A photo of this moment was captured and makes me so happy every time I see it! We spent the rest of the convention hanging out and even spent most of the last day up in my hotel room just chillin and listening to music. You two are the reason I will be returning the Germany one day - and I cannot wait to figure out how things work and are built and talk about music with you both again! :) Please come visit me in the states as well!

The London/U.K. Furs

Attending a London Furs meet is an experience every furry should get to have.

For once in my life I feel like I have found a group of people I would love nothing more but to surround myself with and be apart of for an extended period of my life. The London furs are paws down the most lively and friendly group of furs I have ever had the honor of meeting.

There are far too many of you to name, but I am going to do my best to update the bottom of this journal over the next few weeks as I go through my little blue book, my phone, and chatting with the friends I have made so I can get you all in here! I have lots of pictures from the meet to add to an album - I would love to put the faces to all the names! :)

The Travel
Me and Bunnyrah woke up early the day before the meet and got onto a Coach bus from Newport Wales, to London (about a three hour journey). We were then morphed into tourists and began seeing the sights. Bunny took me right to the changing of the guard where we experienced tourists with tablets.. He then took me all throughout the city until sightseeing turned into fish and chips and a pint of beer in a pub. Later that night we took a late evening stroll to see the city in the dark and crossed a few bridges.

The meet.
The London Furs do things a bit differently than any furmeet I have experienced. They organize a tri-weekly meetup of furries from London and the surrounding area. Some traveling from hours away just to be apart of it. The meet is located right in the center of London’s business district in a popular wine bar. On Sundays the district’s popular bar is void of people in traditional suits and is replaced by furries in their fluffy suits. Furs spend the whole afternoon bouncing around and getting photos in and out of suit with friends, some having drinks while others enjoy the moment. Everywhere you look there are groups of furs around that you can prance right up to and introduce yourself to. If you want to experience fursuits, and a “small convention” feel. This is the perfect furmeet for you. The meet then settles down around dinner time, where all the furry groups split up and head off to pubs, and arcades to have more drinks, food, or both!

The Pub Experience
After the furmeet me and Bunny tagged along with a group headed over to the (names later) pub, where the drinks were cheaper and the food was yummy! This is where I met a lively and hilarious group of furs that had me chatting, laughing and smiling throughout the evening. These furs will forever be in my heart and I can not wait for the next moment we will meet. Hopefully I will get the chance to make another London meet in the next year or two. Or some of them will come to Anthrocon! :3

Now that I look back, this little furmeet was vital for the trip I was about to take. It is where I made friends with a few friendly faces I would be seeing over in Berlin at Eurofurence. (The next journal!) It was nice making a few friends - I just wish I could have taken them all with me to EF, or home!

Furfright 2013 Journal

Hiya furs! This journal will be all about my trip to Furfright and some upcoming trips.

Me and my boyfriend made the trek up to CT last weekend for the one convention I seemed to have kept missing "Furfright." we arrived Thursday afternoon and stayed until Monday. During our trip we both met some amazing furs who will forever be friends of ours! We spent a lot of time outside with the hookah crew, becoming zen and making friends. We attended a rocking tog party and now are apart of a furry fraternity! To cap off the entire weekend we snuggled up in the cold on a rooftop party of the car garage with BAR CAR!!! :D

Pride NYC Journal (+DJ Residency)

Hey guys!

Life update? :P

I am now the resident DJ at a club/lounge in Atlantic City NJ! I will be spinning every Fri and Sat. night :) I finally have found a job I love! =P

The pride parade in NYC was awesomeeee!

mattkraken got to see the big city, we met up with some great furs and we were able to wear our tails (and rainbow collar) through the city =P [cute tail pic to come!]

I will not be attending Anthrocon this year due to my new job, but I will hopefully see some of you out at Furfright! I am getting my own hotel room outside of the main con hotel and it will barely be used so if anyone needs a spot to crash one night let me know =P

~Also I have 11.00 in paypal that I am sick of looking at, who wants it in exchange for some art? ;P

Getting Caught Up!

So... What a wild year it has been.. and it has only just begun! Where to begin!

It is almost spring ^.^ Yay!

I guess I will start with the trips I have planned for this spring/early summer! I would love to take any opportunity possible to visit friends especially those of you who are far away! If any of these dates/trips possibly cross paths with you let me know!

3/15 - 3/21: Miami (on 3/15 Driving From NJ --> Charlotte NC --> Atlanta GA --> Miami) Then (3/20 Miami --> NJ)

Whats next.. How about a small update on my current life!
--> As of last weekend I am officially taken.. :P
--> I have my first real DJ Gig right outside of Atlantic City tomorrow! I hopefully will get a recording of it for you guys :)
--> My classes this semester have proven to be as tough as I thought they would, but I am trucking through it! Only one more semester to go until I graduate! ^^ I also will be a pro American Sign Language-er(?) by next fall! Yay! \o/
--> I am now the co-owner of iLLL Trendsetterz ^.^ Which is why I am going to Miami, so we can be vendor at Mekka, a 24 hour night club :D
We also have recently landed some big gigs in Philly! :)



Sooo I guess thats enough for now :P But that is how I am doing :o

It has been a while since I made a journal so here is a birthday update!

I turned 22 today :o and it was a very good birthday!

I had lots of cuddles, got to play board games with friends, and ate some pizza! I could not have asked for a better day ^_^.
