Finally got all the masks cleaned up and jaws functional and working. Need to pack them all up and I'm shipping this batch out this Friday! I'll message everyone as soon as they're shipped!

Very sorry it took so long. This was a huge learning experience and experimental mold so that we wouldn't have to slush cast anymore. It was a really big endeavor on our end and took about a month and a bit to get right, but checked it this morning after pouring the final silicon bit last night. Looks great!

Going to make the first new skull with it tonight and see how it looks. If everything is great, I can finally return to sending out shipments.

As the titles says, making a new silicon mold for the upper jaw... the mother mold originally had an undercut that we needed to dremmel out and unfortunately it stressed the mold. It wasn't *really* bad for a long time and a lot of quality skulls came out, but it does need to be replaced. It'll take about 12 hours today to get that done, but the new skulls will have a lot of the issues the old skulls completely gone. :D

Looking to ship my next batch out next week and also finally started getting a bit done on the final sculpt for my crocodile mask.

:D Super happy to begin on another mask. I was incredibly flattered by how many people wanted a warthog mask, especially for my first mask ever. I'll upload a completed maquette of my new design that I've been thinking about.

It'll probably be along the lines of a crocodile and a stygimoloch skull. :B Yeah, I've obviously got a thing for skulls.

Hey! So wanted to make a note to those I have sent out masks to. I got a message about one of the shipments arriving with two of the same side tusks... meaning I really messed up and one of you will also have that problem. I'm making new tusks as we speak. If you happen to get one the masks with that, please, and I will pay for the shipping, can you send the incorrect tusk back in a bubble package? If you notify me I will send your correct tusk out ASAP!

@ n @ I am really, really sorry. This is my first shipment (ever) and I was just not paying enough attention while filling out forms and organizing skulls to be packed away. I will resolve the issue as fast and painlessly as I can. <3

Just wanted to give you a heads up with where I'm at! I've been producing skulls for the last couple of days! I was hoping today that I'd be able to ship, but just taking longer than expected. Some unfortunate miscasts and needing more time to clean up a few skulls. I want to ship these guys out all together, so I'll be shipping them next week. It'll give me the weekend to go pick up more resin and get these guys looking great for you!

This is the first time I'm really doing something like this, so I'm getting a better understanding of how much time it takes between skulls. :3 Just a big learning experience for me! Anyways, hopefully you guys are having an awesome week and thank you for being super understanding with me.

Tusks are finished being sculpted! Set them up to be molded last night only to find we're out of molding supplies. Getting more this afternoon and will be able to hopefully make my first batch of tusks tonight.

This is an entry for those waiting to hear back from me about my masks. :3 Just giving you guys a heads up about where I'm at. I'll be able to start making them in a day or two! I'll post a picture of a complete skull tonight/tomorrow.

Update 4/26:

Finished lower tusks today and I'm currently waiting for the molds to set! Sculpting the lower tusks took longer than expected, but they are officially done! I can start making full sets tomorrow! :D

I haven't posted on here in forever. :o I guess if anyone actually reads these things, I'll give a quick update to what I've been up to in a whole year.

Last Spring I was starting my last year of college... I worked on a digital magazine that was published by my school. Enjoyed an awesome summer in Texas... Started Fall semester and started to work on my first mobile game. :> Became Lead Illustrator and by the end of the semester published my first mobile game. Graduated with a BFA in Illustration and visited the Bahamas with mi familia. Actually got to spend time with my dad's side of the family and my sister who I haven't hung around with in about 6 years. :> It was awesome..

Anywhoodles... started job searching and ended up being invited to work on a game in Vancouver with an old friend. Ended up falling in love and moving up here. :B Now I spend my days painting. I'll occasionally post some art on here when I feel like taking a break and doodling something random.

Ah, also was dragged into a FX class where I've started making a wart hog mask. :> So yeah... that's about it.

I'm happy to finally be free of school and lucky as fuck to be able to do what I love directly after. Crazy awesome how quickly life changes. Hard to believe I had already been in SF for four years. Met a fuck ton of amazing people and had a kick ass time at FC every year. Was finally able to live close to my sisters and get to know them a lot better (though they ended up moving to Seattle after three years).

Now I can't wait to make name for myself in the gaming industry and make some kick ass masks. :D

S'up everybody?

I'm about a week and half away from the end of my semester-- thank god. Although it was relatively easy, I'm just ready to be done with school. I have about a year left and I'm excited to see where i end up at that point. I don't feel like I'd want to be in a corporate job, but not sure freelancing would be the best thing to do right off the bat. I still have a lot of stuff to do for my portfolio, not including producing the work itself. I don't have a particular style and that has been something I've been thinking about all semester. Blagh. I just need to work on that a little more..

Anyways, I'll be getting a tablet as soon as I return home and, of course, I'll need to start practicing with it. I may offer super cheap sketches of characters including some background, for reallllly cheap. :> Commissions will help me keep inspired to work as I tend to get lazy when school lets out. I promise I won't disappoint

I have the rage and some self-esteem issues, but this is improving with age and patience. Jax is a big influence in helping me get better.

Um, I'm not them, so I don't particularly know. I guess I can come off shy or unless I'm with people I've known, I can get pretty crazy. It's a chance/situation thing.

FurtherConfusion 2012 was freaking amazing this year. This was my third year in a row and probably the best of them all. :3 Maybe it's cause it's the Year of the Dragon! Roomed with Sero, Kai, Jaximus Prime, Derv and Royal... automatically making it the best room at con. <3 Met a bunch of other great furs although being drunk all con didn't help with my memory. *_*

Picked up a couple of commissions I plan on finishing super soon since school doesn't start up until the 30th.
