I've been sitting on alot of images that I've been meaning to post but life gets in the way as well as focusing on actually making the art. Any artist will tell you, posting takes more time than you think and sometimes you just get tired. Luckily I've got Postybirb to speed things up and I highly recommend it.
I'm going to be posting more now that life has become much more manageable and I've prepped ALOT of art that's been gathering dust that I desperately should and want to post.
I want to revitalize my online presence to lead up to when I go back to doing art full time again once my dayjob contract ends in (most likely) November.
On top of that I'm going to work on building a website and scale up my art business/career ( I can't give any more details than that, sorry). I don't love or actually like my dayjob and I honestly don't see it as a stepping stone to a bigger better career that I would enjoy but I can't deny that right now its providing ALOT of security and because I know it's a temp position that I'm in no way committed to it and it would be better to ride it out than impetuously quit. I know it will end and I'm going to milk this thing for all it's worth.
I'm really looking forward to reading your comments on posts and hearing your thoughts :)

Posted 2 years agoI recently got a new clerical job contract so I'm going to be a little slower to post and respond to DMs for at least till the end of the year.
Also fewer day art streams :(
It's gonna be a little rough since my new job is a 40 min commute so my energy levels are going to be lower which means I'm going to be a little slower with my art so if you're waiting for a commission from me I apologize if it takes a bit longer than usual.
It's gonna be a rough couple months but I'm honestly lucky that this job pays a decent living wage, it's a low stress job and I don't do any customer service.
It's just tricky readjusting since my last gig was work from home (damn that was nice lol)

If you only follow me on here and nowhere else then I'm happy to report I'm comin back!
For the past year I took a bit of a detour and I was only posting to my patreon and twitter.
I did this because commissions were no longer my main source of income and I didn't need to constantly hussle and post as much as I did in the past.
So I let myself get sloppy and let my FA and other sites gather dust for a bit.
During that time I found work doing boring but better paying and steadier clerical work. I miss drawing as a job but I don't regret doing this, I'm no longer a wild carefree 20 year old and I want a more secure path. So I found steady work, moved into a nicer place with a friend and shifted my focus to saving up and planning for a future in something other than art (I'm taking SEO certification courses and trying to work myself into learning coding and tech too but that's a whole other story). I love creating illustrations and that'll never stop but I look at the "art industry" in its many forms and realized I wasn't passionate about being a part of it and the struggle to work in that industry wasn't worth what I was going to get out of it.
But I will never stopped drawing and HAVEN'T stopped drawing. I've been doing personal pieces, patreon illustrations and little commissions here and there over the past year. I've been posting them to twitter and patreon and intended to eventually post them here and revive this page.
Now's the time.
Rather than dropping a metric ton of art here in one go, I'm just going to drop 4-5 pieces every other day till my FA, Newgrounds , Pillowfort and Twitter become in sync and every site is at the same level of up-to-datedness
I'm also going to go back and delete a metric butt ton of my old stuff because honestly I like doing this kind of spring cleaning (don't worry, e621 never forgets :P )
Again I apologize for the lack of posts and I hope y'all enjoy the new stuff
PS I'm not doing this entirely because twitters kinda on fire... but it's definitely a motivator lol

The form link will be up for 24 hours, after that I'll go through all the orders and send out emails
can only take 10-12 orders this month and they'll need to be full color
In the coming months I'll be working back up to my usual routine & offering more (sketch, ink, etc)

Emergency Early Commissions Tommorrow

I'll be doing an emergency early open for commissions tomorrow at 10am CST
I usually wait until the first week of a month to do this but due to cancellations and unexpected bills I have to start tomorrow
There will be a link in the post tomorrow where people can apply
in the meantime I'm currently contacting all my active commissioners to let them know I'm working to get their order finished ASAP and that nobody is being forgotten
I've had alot of you already tell me it's no problem & I wanna say thank you again for being so insanely patient!

You've sent me a couple messages via Notes and Replys and I wanted to address them here
To those who don't know I've been getting death threats because on my patreon poll (where once a month I have a poll for people to pick a character for me to draw a pinup of) I included Byanca (Bianca?) from that Sheep and Wolves movie.
This has upset the other person so much they've threatened my life and told me to take it down
Let me begin by saying that death threats don't work on me, I don't believe you when you say you have my address (by all accounts you don't live in my country) and I never click those image links you add because obviously they're going to lead to something gruesome so why would I click on it? Also Byanca's been on that poll for like 2 years and its been so long I don't know if she's ever going to win and if she doesn't win the vote soon I may just cheat and draw her anyway
I was going to troll you at first but I thought about it a long time and I realized that's not the right thing to do.
I thought about what you must be feeling and what you may be going through and I sincerely hope you're safe and not hurting
I don't believe your threats me not because I don't think you have the guts. The reason I don't believe is because murder takes more out of another person than any of us can possibly imagine. Hearing the stories from regular people who were backed into a corner and had to kill makes it clear it takes so much out of you and that nobody with a balanced mind AND heart would actively pursue
I do believe that you're mad. I know things are really scary around the world right now and you might be frustrated. I know I am and some days it makes me sad and other days it makes me angry.
Things will get better but we have to be optimistic and not give in to our anger.
Threatening someones life about drawing a fictional character a way you don't like isn't healthy and I can only assume this anger is coming from somewhere else and it's not just about the character. I really hope you're just trolling me. If you are just trolling me it's kinda weak and I kinda just skim the notes now.
BUT if you are truly mad enough to kill me I hope you understand that the anger you're carrying is only hurting you, I don't carry any of it because I don't have to and it's not my burden. Please let it go because you're wasting time you could spend hanging out with those you love, playing fun videogames, being creative and just enjoying life. The time we have is precious and using it to get mad at someone who won't share in or carry your frustration about something so trivial as a imagery character is wasteful
Also you appear to keep linking images to what I can only assume are violent imagery (again I never click them because it's obviously an intimidation technique and honestly I really don't wanna look at
stuff like that) but if you're linking it then you MUST be seeing these things yourself and that's not good for you. No person should see those things, please stay away from that stuff it's not helping you. Focus on the good and the beautiful
Honestly if we ever met I think it'd be nice. IRL I'm very sociable and love talking about cartoons and I'm guessing you're a fan of them too. I'm sure we'd have a great chat :D
So to you and everyone reading this please don't carry so much anger and hate over things that really do not matter. Our time is short, stay in contact with those you love. If you have a quarantine buddy and it's safe please give them a big hug and tell them how important they are to you

Many have had work furloughed or been let go. If you're worried about your financial situation & expect you'll need cancel your order & ask for a refund PLEASE let me know. If I haven't begun your commission than a 100% refund is doable
I won't lie, it may put me in a bit of a tricky situation but nothing I haven't prepared for or can't handle. I know I'll be fine but I can't be sure about yall and commissions ARE a luxury. Please do not worry about me, I'll be fine :)

All commission requests will be answered but not all commission requests will be accepted but I’ll do my best.
