I didn't realize it's been almost 2 years since I last posted a journal here...

It's been two weeks since MetroCon, I've just been lazy in writing this...

MetroCon this year was even better than the last.
I didn't buy as much which that's probably for the best, nor did I take as many pictures... which you can see here: http://kcshadowpaw.deviantart.com/gallery/45269106

However, I did cosplay as a recruit of the Night's Watch from Game of Thrones... when people would ask me if I was Jon Snow or Rob Stark I would find myself just saying yes after a while. But a humble recruit was I... I'm going to grow my hair out and make Longclaw so I can actually go as him.
I did have A LOT of people ask to take my picture though, hopefully I'll see more on the internet later on.

I wasn't able to get a picture or autograph but I did see Dante Basco, who played Rufio from Hook and voice actor for Price Zuko... as well as Scott McNeil, the voice actor for Piccolo from DBZ.
I went to a few panels, went shopping, watched the anime chess match, getting stoned, played zombie larp, meeting people, zombie wars, more panels, more shopping, getting more stoned, eating, rave, taking pictures, video games, fire show, etc... not in any particular order.
And I also made a bunch of new friends, some of which had some awesome cosplay too... a few I added on FB, the others I hope to see next year or at another Con.

Next up:
ComicCon... I'm going to hopefully meet The Hound and Arya Stark, (the actors) from Game of Thrones.

A day or two late in writing this... but who's counting? ^.^

My mate took me to the Sarasota Medieval Fair as part of my birthday present, it was awesome!
I got to see my favorite shows!
I loved watching the Jousting Tournament and the Live Chess Battle!!!
We got some epic loots too...
I got an awesome mug and a glass vial to hang on my side as part of my costume next time.
She got a pretty jeweled tiara and a jeweled hair pin with little bells on it.
I also met some of my friends there, I bet they had an awesome time too!
I can't wait until next year, I'm gonna start working on my gear soon.
The whole thing was wicked awesome! =3

I know this is a bit late, but...

Last week was EPIC!!!!!!!!!!
I took my girlfriend Kira to see her favorite musician, Ian Anderson former flutist of Jethro Tull, at the Hard Rock in Orlando yesterday...
lets just say there are no words that can describe how awesome last night was!

We showed up early so we could enjoy a few drinks before the show started. Our seats were center balcony... it literally felt like we were right above him. His musicianship and stage-presence were absolutely amazing!
I love his music!

After the show we checked out the shop and I also bought Kira a Hard Rock 2010 pin for her work uniform to remember that night always...
of course, we also kept the ticket stubs. Those are going someplace special.

We walked around a bit and stopped in the smoke shop where she bought me a lovely Cohiba which I enjoyed for the rest of the evening.

After that we decided to eat at the sushi restaurant and we each got a couple "Dragon rolls" and Miso soup. Of course, I had to get extra-extra wasabi... because nobody ever gives me enough. =3

What a night to remember!
...and I got to spend it with my soul-mate.

Furloween was Awesome!
Kira and I had a great time, it was even better than before. I didn't get to participate in the costume show because I didn't finish mine, but I'm glad I got to see all the others. I think Astrid and the Pandaren were my favorites!
We arrived around 8pm and thought we were gonna miss the food, but we made it on time... it was delicious! The murder-mystery event they put on was fun, we asked a lot of questions and guessed three times and got 'em all wrong... I suppose we just aren't cut out for detective work. lol
Unfortunately we were not able to stay for the hang-out the next day, but that's alright.
I got to meet and dance with some other really awesome furs so I'm happy. And we took lots of pictures so I'm gonna get some of those up soon. ^.^

You gave all of us 16 years of your love and companionship. Like a black panther you were majestic and elusive... but you never passed up the chance to play and cuddle.
I can still vividly remember bringing you home from the shelter, I knew you were the one when I saw your big eyes telling me you were alone and needed someone to love you. Over the years we've moved all over, met a lot of new people and had lots of new experiences... and you were such a good boy all the way. I'm happy I was able to share a long and good life with you.
You will be missed but always remembered with a warm heart.
It's hard to let you go... but I know you'll always be with me.

I came across an e-mail circulated by non-furries, interesting how "normal" people tend to desire to associate their lives with animals. No matter who you are, the world would be a happier place if everyone lived like this.

Screw Gimp... I got Photoshop CS4 now.

I like to think of "Furry Looner" as more of an artistic nude.
She was the first I drew in my sketchbook so I decided to complete her first.
I think it came out alright, but I have a long way to go before I'm as excellent as some of my favored furry artists here. I have a bunch more I'd like to upload, including ones of myself and my mate.
Any constructive criticism is appreciated.

I just downloaded Gimp image editor though I'm still figuring out how to use it.
I also need batteries for the tablet I'm using.
Hopefully Gimp will suffice and the tablet will work.

I've been noticing a sweet trend.
I have always slept on the right side our bed since we moved into our home almost a year ago and I would experience dreams on a very rare occasion. (right side if you were standing at the foot facing the headboard... she always takes the left)
However, recently we finished our living room and she's been raiding frequently into the late hours, so I've been enjoying the whole bed before she joins me later. Oddly enough I've been noticing I only dream when I sleep on the left side, regardless of how many hours or how light my sleep is. Not only do I dream solely when I sleep on that side, but it's been happening every night since I first took notice. They're so vivid I can still remember them and I've even been writing some down.
It's been awesome! ...I'm curious as to why this is.

I got sick. Been getting worse the past few days since I got back from Vegas. I was hoping it clear up by now.
I bet I got something from somebody on the plane b/c my mate is sick too...
at least we get to take care of each other now.

I was putting this entry off for a day or two b/c there is just soooo much to tell... but perhaps I should stick by the old saying: What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.

Or not. =P
It was wicked! I'll give a little overview.
My mate and I stayed at the Excalibur the first two nights and The Hard Rock the second two. We toured almost all the hotels on the main strip and did some shopping. I ate multiple platefuls at the buffets until I couldn't possibly eat another bite... then had desert. Unfortunately I did lose a good bit in the casinos. I was down first, then up, then down, up, down, down... but I guess that's to be expected, so it's no big deal. I didn't loose too much. >.<

One of the best parts of the trip was the show we watched.
Mystere... Cirque du Soleil.
Wicked Awesome! We had 3rd row side seats with a full view! We could reach over the rail and touch them. (I almost grabbed a feather as a bunch fell)
We drank, we laughed, we danced and tried to do everything we possibly could... I was in awe the entire trip. Not a moment was wasted.
It was truly an Epic vacation. =^.^=

What a great week this could turn out to be.
Valentines day was pur-fect... flowers, chocolates, jewelry, dinner, sex.
However, it turns out we're going to Vegas this weekend.

Hello to everyone!
This is my first entry and I'm not exactly sure where I should begin.
I will say I've kinda been putting this moment off a bit until I got my new mac. which just arrived... I've been excited all day
=^.^=

That aside I feel I should tell a little something about myself.
I 've been a furry all my life, pretty much as far as I can remember, I just didn't know it until my first year in college.
When I was in Kindergarden I made a picture-journal depicting my desire to be a Ninja Turtle when I grew up and told everyone about it. Over the years I always felt myself gravitate toward the anthro. heroes and characters in games and shows. I can remember in 5th grade I began drawing myself and others as anthro. characters as well. However back then internet was still pretty new so I didn't stumble upon nor realize how furry I was until my first year in college. Even then I hadn't yet exacted my fursona and for a long time I felt like an uninvited guest and always wanted to opportunity to be more involved and make new friends.
I'm a male gray and black tiger w/ green accents on the ends of my head and tail fur. I'm inherently stealthy and fluid in motion standing at just under six feet tall. I live with my mate in Florida and I'm currently working and taking college classes. My girlfriend also attends the same classes and is also furry, maybe she'll make an account as well.
I hope to upload some pictures and drawings soon once I figure all this out. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I hope to make many new friends.
