Just a last minuter request. Last night at a local meet someone popped one of my right ribs out of place while I was in Cloud hehe. So no glomps, lifts , tackles, pounces, even too tight of hugs as it'll be quite painful for da fox if ya do hehe. So we just found out, my mates work ISN"T letting him off for CPFM : (. When he looked on the schedule this week , he was on it. He asked off for it 3 months ago but the asst manager apparently also wants the same weekend off now and when its between him and managment, he gets the short end of the stick.

They did try calling around other hibdons to try and find a replacement for him but no luck. So we will be in oklahoma for the weekend. Sorry to everyone we told we were going, if we had any choice at all we'd be there! I hope everyone has a wonderful time. It's one of our "can't miss events" and we're missin it.

If this is the first your hearing of it, go buy a tent and get ready for a furry camp out weekend of goodness!

Lake Afton is right outside wichita kansas and easy to get to, so get ready to spend 3 days with some of the coolest fur's the central US has to offer. The lake is awesome, the people are awesome and this time the weather, "should" be awesome : )

The registration is only 15 dollars , and the tent fee is 7 dollars a night, so if your livin on a budget but want to get to know some more fur's, this would be a great way to do it.

Also on a side note, there is a gun range at the lake. My mate and I will be bringing a few handguns and a couple rifles to fire, if your of age and are willing to listen to a schpeal about weapon safety then you'll be welcome to come up with us : ). If you wanna fire more than a handful of rounds, then please bring some ammo, we will be brining plenty with us but it can get expensive if your wanting to dump some mags. The calibers will be .40 and 9mm and .22 . We dont need more .22, that stuff is cheap as dirt. We were considering bringing the rifles, but no one has yet sent us a note expressing interest in them so we might just leave the ar-15 and .308's at home hehe.

So who all's going? This will be my first time ever at Wild Nights! I've only heard tales of the crazy hijinks fur's get up to at this crazy shindig. I hope this year is nothing different hehe. We even bought a special crate thingy for the miata so we can roll in like the beverly hillbilly's all packed down! Lets hope for no tornados this year as i saw there might possibly be some clouds this time around as well hehe.

We should be getting there friday night and attempting to use a tent, we'll see how that goes hehe.

Alrighty! When I asked a few people if they were attending CPFM this year, the most common answer I got was "What is CPFM?" .So! Here it is.

CPFM is the Central Plains Furmeet started and run by  Merkindesr and  jimdalefox. It happens every year just outside of Wichita Kansas. It's a weekend furry camping event which has been growing rapidly every year! It only costs $15 to register and the camping fee's $7 a day, making it a pretty darn good bargain. The campgrounds are located right on lake Afton which is absolutely beautiful and serene at night. By day there's swimming , fishing, and spontaneous activities do to the creative boisterous fur's that usually attend CPFM as well as several scheduled events. There's even a shooting range which is open for 7 dollars per person. For the shooting part, my mate and I are going to bring quite a few weapons for people to fire *after a quick safety rundown of course*, maxzillian is going to be bringing a couple weapons as well (I believe a 30-30 and a 9mm px4). So there will be plenty to do. This "mini-con" is a lot more personal than your going to find with the larger cons, making it that much better. No one is left out, so if your shy, don't worry, we're not, and we will find you! This year Merk and Dale have even secured us an Air Conditioned Pavilion for home base! This really is a furry event you shouldn't skip, you'll make great friends and leave with fond memories. It's one of the best group's of fur's I've ever had the pleasure of being around, your not gonna find better people anywhere. So its cheap, its fun and its fulfilling, what else could you possibly hope for? So mark it on your calendar May 18th-20th 2012 CPFM!

*Even with the $15 registration, there are still things that can help out if you plan to attend. Extra food/beverages and always ICE! Anything you can think of really, if you bring extra, people will definitely be grateful.

**The weapon calibers we will be bringing so far will be 9mm/.223/.40/.22 . We also have 2 .308 sniper rifles if there's interest *just note me*. We will be bringing ammunition for these weapons, but would appreciate if anyone brought some along for the weapon they'd like to shoot, as it gets quite expensive to supply all of it. Again we're not requiring ammo, just appreciate any extra that anyone can throw in. Thanks in advance!

Wow what a con! My first eva hotel con, god it was fun hehe. I think my blood was like 10percent Monster, 10 percent 5hr energy, and 5 percent skittles by the end. But it was worth it! I got to meet so many awesome fur's and fursuiters! And got to see old friends again.  okidoki was there in his usual fashion, however this time he had a brand new shiny suit that really stole the show! Everyone wanted to know who made it. Great job Merk, you really outdid yourself!  -Drago-" was there in his new "Rave" suit and it looked so awesome, they pulled out the stops makin him. Then there was  drakeSodaPup, his eyes looked so good! The pics I saw before definitely don't do him justice hehe.  Familiar aka Sprinkles had her hubby walkin around in his new suit this year Compter, which was an awesome lookin cat with a giant ole tail hehe.

The dance competion was awesome , Oklahoma fur's represented big time, as second place went to the amazing  Sergenightfire wearing Cascade and third went to the one and only  okidoki *who no doubt got all 10's for personality omg*. The fursuit rodeo was a ton of fun as well, thankfully the other more experienced fursuiters were able to help me with the games hehe. And I even got to win one! Musical chairs got pretty rough but I made it through! It ended up with me and  drvannacant staring each other down over one final chair! The music started and when it stopped, in true Thunderdome style, 2 of us entered, but only 1 of us stayed on the chair! <3  drvannacant

But After all the new shiney's, the best part was running into friends that I don't get to see that often like Oki/askari my new friend Jase , all the kansas fur's hunter, drago, maxzillian, merk, dale, and of course the oklahoma fur's patdog and hazard, and now the texas fur's flurrycat aka monoyasha , ciara dragon and crys the hybrid, drafstallion, soda pup, baralheia , keegan, sergenightfire, misora, purity, soulcat , wirecat and many more . Please don't feel bad if i didn't list ya , there are waaaay more than I can lol, not to mention i'm still recovering and my brain isn't working like its supposed to quite yet hehe.

Thank you everyone for being so awesome and making Texas Furry Fiesta what it was. I can't wait for next year, and hope to see some of you at AC here in few months.

 misora Has been battling medical issues, and just recently got slammed with a bill right before the con she had been planning on going to for a long time. Texas Furry Fiesta. She's a wonderful person and wonderful artist and she deserves some fun. As we speak she's doing streaming 5 dollar commissions , which is a steal for her art! She also takes more detailed commission jobs. Please if for any other reason, go give her 5 dollars for a great deal on some cheap higher quality art! Couple things! First the furbowl was frickin awesome, I'll be posting a vid when i get something cut down i'm happy with and second I found my pads! The ones that magically disappeared while I was bowling and everyone was so nice to help look for. They were all the way down at the end of the alley like next to the pins 3 and 4 lanes over, how that happened I have no idea lol. So i gotta figure out how I'm gonna reattach em now , i think i've tried every glue and adhesive known to man and they wont stay on lol.

Okay party people, its that time again! The Oklahoma furbowl is comin up! And if you haven't been before, this would be a great time to start! Cloud the big blue ear'd fennec will be making his first furbowl appearance. So put down that controller, turn off skyrim, take a break from second-life, put away your magic cards, and come out for a real furry gathering! It's always a fun time! Suits are more than welcome, but most definitely not required! Can't wait to see you all there!
