Coming out 🏳️⚧️
Posted 2 years agoI'm a woman. I'm trans. I've been an egg for almost a decade now. experiencing dysphoria every time that I looked in a mirror, everytime a firned of mine went through transition. I had alsmot given up on myself at this point. But the recent support and posiivity I've recieved for my sound work gave me a confidence boost that (along with other factors) led me to finally accept myself as who I am.
I'm a woman. My pronouns are she/her (I won't take offense at they/them) though.
Thank you everyone for your support over the years.

Opening commissions for Sound Edits, Foley, Mixing and VA...
Posted 2 years agoPeople seem to appreciate my latest work, so if you're interested my prices are under my "commissions" tab.
I work in my own eco-friendly studio (sound treatment made from recycled jeans, no heating), and work on a fully FLOSS workflow.

I passed my semester!
Posted 10 years agoI passed it with a grade of 11,4/20 , wich also means I validated it, so all the credits for me yay!
I've looked up my schedule for next semester and I can tell you already:
There will be boredom thus there will be art!

Surgery and convalescence
Posted 10 years agoGood whatevertimeofthedayitis to you fellow furries, and anthro art amateurs!
First of all: you won't see a lot of "art" (I prefer to call them drawings as they are totally on a much lower level as art on this site) being uploaded here for the following reason:
I just went through surgery for two bad ingrown nails on both feet that got badly infected.
The surgeon ordered me to stay at home for 18 days. The thing is that this "home" is my mom's appartement, located over 600km away from my own. This means that I don't have access to a scanner.
With no scanner I can't upload tradtional art, and I can't use my lineart.
I'll try to find other things to upload though, as I progress through the extreme boredom that awaits me.
If you have any questions, feel free to comment here or to send me a note, I don't bite, I promise ^^ !

New Color Pencils YAY!
Posted 11 years agoI'm really glad to say that I now own some actual color pencils!
It's a set of 24 Faber-Castell "classic colour" (And that's how I learned Faber-Castell is a British brand),
I must say I'm really pleased with these though I still need some practice in order adjust myself to those.
Now for those of you who feel brave enough to read some less important info, and more on how I got this set of pencils:
Today 12:30 (I use 24h base, deal with it):
Just got out of Math and Programmation Fundamental class, a class I deeply and truly hate for I won't ever have a use for it in the rest of my studies... and also because it's purely theoretical maths ( a whole class on congruent applications, in theortical sets... some of my classmates somehow enjoy it).
Anyway, just got out of purgatory and went to the cafeteria with a classmate to... eat (I know it's highly surprising right?). After buying our lunches we sat down,
and started eating our lunch. Half way through his salmon sandwich he pulled out the 5*5*5 Rubik's Cube he was trying to solve during MPF class. This sprung a conversation on math between him and I. After trying to help him solving his puzzle we initiated a conversation on the Millenium Prize Problems, which somehow led to me trying to prove him that sum of all natural integers was equal to -1/12. Needless to say that this number feeding beast dropped his colorful mind breaker to check if my calculations were exact (which by the way were, you now know how to loose 1h in math class).
The time ticked closer to 14:00 on my non-ticking phone, and I decided to leave and take a tram to go downtown (I still had 3 hours to waste until my next class).
That's when he asked where I was going. The look on his face was just priceless when he heard me say I was going downtown to buy a box of color pencils (keep in mind I study Physics & Engineering).
Anyway I got to the arts supplies shop, and I felt lost. I had never been in one of those for years! So, thanks to my high stature, I quickly found the color pencil stand.
I was right in front of the above mentionned stand and of a dilemma. I didn't what to pick! Thankfully for me 80% of the sets were watercolor pencils so I just had few traditional pencils to choose from. I finally chose my set and went to the cash register.
It was one of the most akward times I've been through in last few month. I was standing in line in the middle of art students, and obviously looked like a science student (shirt, jacket, longcoat VS trashed jeans, brown-ish t-shirt and jacket, pencil on the ear, huge pieces of cardboard under the arm).
And just as if life was trolling me one of the employees started a conversation in the slowest line ever, to know what we were studying.
After half a dozen of art and architecture students, with hardcore drawing skills it was my turn to speak:
(translated from french)
Me:"I... erm.. study physics and engineering..."
Some random student:"In Architecture?"
Me:"Erm no... in General Sciences"
*General laughter*
Employee:"What in the world are you doing HERE?"
Me:"I'm buying... color pencils?"
*Laughter Uproar*
Me:"Hey I can have hobbies!"
Some other student:"Yeah but how can you have freetime?"
*Huge laughter*
*At that point it was finally my time to pay (20 mins of waiting in a line of six people)*
Cashier:"So do you want our fidelity card?"
Me:"Hell no! You ain't gonna see me back here in long time!"
End of the entry
