I always mean to announce my concerts and then completely forget. Anywho, just had an amazing concert with guest star Bob Summers. Fortunately my two solos were way before he started playing because he just absolutely took over.

Was a ton of fun, and when I get my concert schedule I'll post them and hopefully a few local furs can drop in.

OK, so actually it was yesterday, but still! I just turned the big 20, or small 20, however you look at it, and it's officially time to get some frickin commissions of my character. My gallery looks so... bland. Anywho, thanks to anyone who has listened to any of my music so far.

A small excerpt from our small group. We embrace the noble holiday tradition of tuba christmas, but like to add a full brass segment first with a fun collection of christmas songs. With only about an hour of practice I think we came off very well.

Anywho, I'm first chair second and you can see me as the trumpet in the front row wearing the santa hat sitting in the holy beam of light (although I had a much more derogatory adjective for it at the time :P ).

As many musicians know, there is the ever fun Tuba Christmas and Christmas Brass sections running around during the holiday season, but I just found out why there is no such thing as a Trumpet Christmas. For those of you who ARE first/screacher trumpets, or those of you who know them, or those of you who understand how trumpet players work, this video is awesome!

Friday May 6, I'm playing in an awesome concert which includes Carmina Burana as arranged for concert band, Hounds of Spring by the talented Alfred Reed and a relatively unheard of march from Sousa, The Loyal Legion. (It's one of Sousa's only marches in minor, but don't worry, it ends in major =^.^=)

If anyone who reads this happens to be in SoCal (Santa Barbara through Ventura/Oxnard area), it would be awesome to get some furs! [message for details]

I finally found a way to condense the 30+ MB Finale files. Unfortunately it is through video, which means I can't post it on here, so instead I started posting them on facebook (because I don't want to post a bunch of uncopyrighted music on youtube).
