Streaming again

College screwed me over
Posted 6 years agoI'm out $950 dollars and on academic alert. What happened was that Earlier this year when courses were starting up most of the campuses were closed due to blizzards. As a result, I decided it would be best to drop my courses and try again in the spring. However, for some reason my courses were not dropped and I was therefor counted as still enrolled. However, as I thought I had dropped those courses, I did not attend them or do any work for them, resulting in me failing them and being put on academic alert. Also, because I was not registered as dropping them, I never was refunded my tuition, meaning that I am now out $950. I have set up an appointment to do something about this, but I am not hopeful.

Posted 7 years agoLong story, but I lost my job do to a customer taking my slip of the tongue as a personal insult. They put in a corporate complaint, and I am now unemployed. I've already applied to 3 different places near my home. But it really stinks how easily one can lose their job.
