Short Summary of my problem detailed on Twitter is that the app Camera+ on iOS 10.2 just as was going to transfer the pictures to camera roll to then get off the phone to free up space, decided to all of a sudden just erase all the pictures, so as said on Twitter whoever can recommend some iPhone recovery software the work for me to recover this app data I will Paypal $50. Today is the 15 anniversary of the September 11 attacks, remember clearly at school how what we were told at first in 2nd grade was that bombs had gone off in New York city. It was not until got home and started to see on TV channels the significance of it with many channels simulcasting others, resulting in lots of media cancelations such as of Pokemon Sports Awards shows and NPR programs. But as by the time of 3:30 TV channels had mostly stopped replaying the planes crashing and non live footage of aftermath, what remember most was flipping channels and coming across Fox News talking about how just before first callopse some had gone back inside to get items. As this was 15 years ago it also occours there many younger ones who know so little such as last night as went to sleep talked with one Twitter about, who may had later to here if get permision. I sent him following long DM after he said knew about September 11 attacks that 2 planes crashed into New York World Trade Center Twin Towers. Following was wriitten at 3:30am so realize has long run on sentences among other problems which fixed somewhat, but think it summarizes what happened that day very well.

Last to mention is September 11 a day am less silly more serious, tend not to do my morning roar on Twitter when awaken and in past have not done RP roars at all this day, and have kept any RP to less silly more serious or comforting tone.

It was not just the World Trade Center Twin Towers, but 2 planes crashed into each of those first at 8:46am East and second 9:03 New York into the separate towers, 9:26 no commercial flights allowed to take off, then 9:36 a plane crashed into the Pentagon which the command center for the United States military, after which at 9:46 the FAA issued a SCATANA, which basically orders clearing of all air traffic and all planes in air then to land at closest airport with many flights coming from outside US still over ocean ordered to land in Mexico in Canada, a 4th plane that had been directed by the terrorists to crash into White House or Capital Building in Washington D.C, but starting at about 9:57 the passengers having learned by cell phones of the other planes hijacked crashing into buildings they tried to gain control of the plane and got into the cockpit and at 10:03 the terrorists realizing were being overpowered crashed the plane into a field near a strip mine where no one on ground was injured, but everyone on all 4 planes died. Starting by 8:56 am all the media was on it and after the second plane some channels started to simulcast the news channel or local broadcast station from ones owned by same company, and as such shows such as Pokemon aired in very few if any places that day until Friday as from 8:56am Tuesday all the big 3 broadcast stations and cable news channels, such as ABC NBC CBS CNN MSNBC Fox News, stopped airing commercials, and none started to return to normal until about after 9:00am East at which point by 12:00pm east noon the normal ads had returned. During those 3 days lots of events such as awards shows and sports games were cancelled and stayed so until about the following Tuesday, at which point the news media has been changed greatly and were many questions of how to continue as sports such as MLB and NFL started up again. There was also impacts financially such as stock markets closing and other things related to lost business revenue and costs do to 3 days of ads on TV and radio not getting played on many stations. Also that Friday on September 14 normal air traffic started to fully resume after on September 13 all commercial and private flights allowed to happen, but there were planes in unscheduled places and backlogs of people who needed get to where planned to be, plus some changes were made right away for enhanced security including reenforcing cockpit doors and further changes made in next year, especially to cockpit doors on commercial flights and new objects banned from being brought onboard. Impacts related to where us military was and in some cases still is do to September 11 2001 are around today, and not even going get into complicated issue of how modern terrorism related and how US might of helped create ISIS.

Last Thursday August 11 marked exactly 5 years since established LeonardLion_O in 2011 and made my full return to the furry fandom as mentioned in my other journal. https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/7721619/ There was months of planning starting in about March deciding on fursona and getting help from furries, some of which mentioned in the journal 19 days ago, as I almost went with a Pokesona hybrid of Pachirisu and forget other do to  Marquis2007 who also set my RP style over 5 years ago as for a time I RPed as a human until July 2011 when settled on that my fursona would be lion, which was very easy since from 2004-2006 during my first time active in furry fandom I RPed as a cat.

The day after Rio Olympics 2016 opening ceremony I posted this to a NC furs group August 6th. Even if you not care about sports at all, Animalympics is a very interesting work to study with its early history as part of formation of furry fandom and the fact some who worked on the film went on to do famous works such as Lion King and The Simpsons. Plus there Gilda Radner who voiced the Barbara Walters parody character Barbara Warbler and she continued to parody Walters on Saturday Night Live until died of ovarian cancer in 1989. Then course this being one of the early works Billy Crystal was on, we all know him from Disney movies and anime dubs among lots other movie types.

With the Rio 2016 Olympics really fully getting started today August 6, want to remind furries of Animalympics, which was made by Steven Lisberger in 1980, 2 years before made Tron, which happens to be the exact year the modern formation of the furry fandom started in 1980. Animalympics was made to go along with NBC covering the Olympics in 1980, but as NBC canceled their coverage do the boycotts of those Russian Olympics, which a whole separate conversation on its own of political history, the airing of Animalympics was cancelled and the work along with Lisberger got screwed. There been no legal way to buy it since 1980's VHS release and a 2007 German DVD release, was shown on HBO in 1980's and Disney Channel 1995-1996, but there tons of uploads of it in places online as I watched it again this past Thursday from YouTube, really wish could buy it legally for reasonable price. As all furries of the 1980's should know of this, if you never heard of the Animalympics, it basically a parody of TV coverage of the Olympics in that era with anthropomorphic animals. Will put links to the Wikipedia and Wikifur entries along with a picture of the VHS release cover and title. Could talk for hours about Animalympics and its history in furry fandom, such as it being shown at first furry party at Westercon in 1985, as tons of non furs love this work too and talk about it online when Olympics happening. The intro song is what I most often randomly hum at times. last a random technical fact is this was one of first films to be have the sound done in Dolby Surround.

I am really back having finally submitted something, so expect lots more art from me as got 1.5 year backlog of 19 including 4 sketches made in past week, and finally am really feeling it with making my own art. those 4 sketches I made can be seen on my Twitter and eventually will submit them here too. I also this past summer 2016 went to the Animzament anime convention and got my first fursuit hug there ever, which was so great and hope to in at least 2-3 years get a partial lion fursuit.

As for my birthday is actually was on July 20, but family going to celebrate today as parents were out of town on July 20.

Want to mention as those who follow me on Twitter now that next month August 11 2016 is going to mark 5 years since came roaring back into the furry fandom with my roaring lion fursona, as was in the furry fandom from 2004-2006 as a cat but dropped out as the great bug Youtube furry war got started, but over this past almost 5 years there have been many who been great influence on me, so just want to list a few of those right after this.

just getting back into being on FA besides quickly glance through thumbnails of submission messages. Also might get back to submitting art tomorrow as my back log is now at 7 works I have to submit, one of them a colored version of one of my own sketches. That gets to my last point which is I plan to once again pick up the pencil during next few days to see if can sketch anything good enough to submit here.

Also while it seems I not been active lately, I do plan to get active again in next week commenting and start submitting 3 artworks I have to submit now that will have more time to be in front of actual computer, not just mobile devices. Final those of you artists and all I watch should know that I been at the very least seeing thumbnails of everything you submitted.

Been stuck so much on mobile that not had much activity other than faving things I get linked to on Twitter and just scanning the thumbnails of submissions from those I watch. But now I want to get active again before others forget me, as I just today had someone block me on Twitter from their private alternative account because they said did not know me, which I know must be do to me not talking with them much the past 2 years.

Also I have continued to get new art over the past 6 months, as I have 4 to submit, including a new icon I going to change to here, for at least a little while do to reasons I will state in a future journal.

Today is my birthday and there 1 hour left of it.

Been a bit inactive on FA, but am regularly active on Twitter, to do spending so much time on mobile instead of normal computers, and got no new art to submit or artworks waiting to be completed soon. However I soon, hopefully this week, will submit one of my own animal pictures I have taken in the past. Also I am considering sometime this month finally making my first content on Tumblr be my thoughts on Mario Kart 8, which my initial thought on is basically it cool.

Since for a while I may have a lack of art after I submit one soon, and have just 2 I waiting for to be completed, want to ask you something about me submitting my own pictures I have captured.

I sometimes take close up pictures of little creatures some hate the sight of such as spiders and certain bugs, so I am wondering would anyone of you want to see me submit or not submit some of my close up pictures of spiders and other little creatures you do not really ever hear referred to as cute? I for sure will be at times submitting pictures of insects pretty much everyone agrees are beautiful such as butterflies and certain moths, as I have done before, but what I really want to know is would you want to see close up pictures from me of things such as big spiders, cockroaches, flies, and other bugs that disgust a good number out there?

Something which makes me the most very angry in an unpleasant way are others works getting destroyed in an unfair way, and I very pissed off about following. Also this is slightly upsetting to me because of how much I love the works of Sciggles along with the great respect I have for artists in general.

I want to give a quick mention to an artist I love which is  LunarDrolf who is also a good fursuiter. I also making this journal to let you all know that I am considering some slight changes to my Lion fursona and getting a new ref for him from  LunarDrolf again.

I still active here even though FA was read only for a whole week and I was missing great art from my favorite artists and others. But I will start uploading the art I have here to my Weasyl account tomorrow, even though this will remain my main art site to be active on.

Upcoming content for me to put here includes 2 commissions I have paid for and the artists are working on, and might later this month start talks with specific artists about 2 additional ideas I have for future commissions. Last I am considering making a journal about 2013 which may include major anniversaries of events and releases from the distant past that happened this year, along with some other stuff from 2013 such as about tech and video game related news items from this year, which if I make it will be posted December 29 or 30.

November 14 is the one year anniversary of me becoming active on FA and SF after I had made accounts on those sites in January 2012 just to view stuff I needed an account for. But in November 2012 I one day decided that I should not just be active in the furry fandom on Twitter but also be active on the furry art websites.

My first year being active on this site FA has been great as I have encountered so many great artists, and gotten art from some of them too. As well been able to come across some friends here, and got better insight into some of the furries which I never would have gotten from just following them on Twitter. As well some of the artists here have inspired me to want to get back into making art, which I have been trying my hand at by doing simple sketches however only one of them have I thought was good enough to submit at this time. One artist who has inspired me way more than any of the other artists here to get back into making art myself is  m.mcallister88 who continually amazes me with the works he makes, as I want strive to be as good as him someday, so go watch him if you don't already. While I am on the subject of artists I want to mention that I have chosen one of my great friends here  jakelioner83 to be the main artist I will commission to turn ideas I have for my fursona into art. Last, I think I am getting closer to making another simple sketch I feel is good enough to submit.


So as I continue to meet other great furries on this site and discover exceptional furry artists this site and other places, I could see myself being on this website until the site closes down for good or until I die.

October 12 is supposed to be the official world wide release of Pokemon X and Y to kick off the 6th generation of Pokemon, but I have heard that in some places stores are able to sell them a day early. I have been told that in NA no stores have been allowed to release the games early even though some copies have leaked, and I do now that at least in NA on the 3DS eShop you will be able to at midnight est time buy the digital version of the games to download right away. However I imagine the downloads of X and Y will be slow as the servers get slammed from all the others wanting to download at midnight.

So I am very roaring excited about seeing modern Pokemon games on modern hardware since the 4th and 5th gen games were designed to be able to play on hardware released in 2004, and X and Y, the 6th gen, I expect to have greatly amazing visuals and sound on the 3DS.

Pokemon I am very excited about are Pyroar, a Lion based Pokemon, and being able to have a Mega Charizard. I will be picking Froakie since I have always chosen water starters.

I will be getting both X and Y tomorrow in physical form and will in 2-3 weeks make another journal giving my full thoughts on the games after playing them.

I forgot to mention that on October 12 is also the launch of the Nintendo 2DS which has no planned Japanese release.

As those of you who follow me on Twitter by now likely know from me tweeting so much about it, I on Sunday went to Dragon*Con in Atlanta which was my first time ever going to a convention of any kind.

So being there was everything that I expected with seeing lots of awesome cosplays of things that are favorites of mine, and in addition I at one point passed by someone in a Lion fursuit that waved to others, including me, as they walked by. Some of the most notable cosplays I saw there were I did see 2 Pikachu cosplays by females which my thought was, O sexy, as well seeing lots others doing Pokemon cosplay stuff which I expected. I also walked by an elaborate very impressive Wookiee cosplay and saw someone walking around with a very cool looking Ghostbusters Proton Pack from a distance that had lights on it. In addition to all that will just mention that it was almost impossible to miss the prevalence of Star Wars and Star Trek related stuff there such as elaborate model lightsabers you could buy. Last will just mention I saw a bit more of Nintendo related cosplay stuff than I expected such as a great Link, and I could mention a lot more of the cosplays I saw there, but I don't want to make this seem like an endless paragraph about what I saw there.

Now about Dragon*Con in general is that it was so great to have on my iPhone the official app for the con that does not need an internet connection to work since once it got past noon I was barely able to get any cell data even while getting 3-4 bars of LTE. I also had no problems asking the staff there a few questions at times about where exactly certain places and other stuff was. But do be aware that if you go to Dragon*Con make sure you are ready to do lots of walking around since the con is so big that it is contained in 5 hotels, and for me it so helpful getting around there to be agile like a feline zig zagging and squeezing around through places.

Now that Dragon*Con has been the first convention I have ever been to, it should be obvious that I intend to go back someday and be able to spend at least Friday through Sunday there.

And I almost forgot to mention that in an area where you could get autographs from famous people from some of your favorite shows, I did go and for a few seconds stand one foot away from George Takei, known from Star Trek, and Jason David frank, known as Tommy from the Power Rangers series.

The very last thing I have to say is that I am now sure that I plan to make my first furry convention I go to be the one that also occurs in Atlanta which is Furry Weekend Atlanta.

I lately because of irl stuff and going out more since I turned 21, have since about July 22-23 not been paying much attention to FA or SF messages. So as a result of all that I have so many site messages that I wont go through them all, but if you late last month or this month made a submission and or journal you want to make sure I see, feel free to reply to this with links.

I am making this journal at about 45 minutes past midnight in my timezone meaning I am now 21, so that means I can legally drink alcoholic beverages now. So for those who don't know from following me on Twitter, I am right now at the beach and will be there until Sunday, and it is has been great being at the beach. So for the rest of my time at the beach, I think I will only be checking FA once or twice a day instead of the normal at least once every 3-4 hours check I do when at home.

Now for next week there is the significance that in 10 days on the 20th I will be turning 21 which means that there will no longer be areas I can not go into because of not being old enough, and also the obvious of being able to legally drink alcoholic beverages since in the US you must be 21 or older to drink or buy those.

Now going to go back out and maybe go in the ocean at the beach.

This week I am at the beach and so as a result I wont be checking FA that much and as the last time last week I looked at all my FA messages was the night of July 4, I am a bit behind on those, so don't be worried about the fact I have not lately been faving and commenting submissions/journals like normal.

Also one thing that was significant about this recent July 4 you might not know, is that on July 4 the Statue of Liberty opened up for the first time since Hurricane Sandy did some damage to the grounds around the Staue of Liberty.

By the way did any of you in the US see any fireworks? As I did not because it was raining in my area on July 4.

However I have been for the most part as active as normal on Twitter, so that is almost always the best place to contact me on.

June 26 was significant as the US Supreme Court stuck down the key part of DOMA.

And what this means is that same sex couples can get government benefits. Such as in the case of the military it will mean that if someone who is in the military happens to be married to someone of the same sex and he or she dies, that the military will now acknowledge that marriage and the surviving partner will get the same benefits that everyone else who is in a heterosexual marriage would get if the one they were married to dies in the military. It also means that the IRS will no longer charge inheritance tax to someone that was in a same sex marriage when their partner dies and they inherit the others stuff. There are other great things that will came from what Supreme Court did o this.

I also just want to say that what bothers me the most about about all this is how many antigay people use the bible to justify being against homosexuality. I could spend a while making a long paragraph about how dumb the whole antigay stuff is, but because I am tired now, I wont right now.

Last I will mention, one thing this striking down of DOMA does that is of interest internationally is that it leads the way for in the future the possibility that anyone who is gay in the US with a partner outside the US to bring their same sex partner over to the US to get married, and relatively easily get their partner to become a legal US citizen.
