My Discord server o/
Posted 5 years agoI'm available on Discord all the time unless I'm asleep if anyone wants to join my server. We chat about random stuff, and sometimes I show sneak peeks and other things there first for the members. Also it's the best way to contact me directly other than e-mail in general. Been using it mostly for keeping contact with patrons and friends, but since I'm all the time keeping an eye on it... I'm openning it for everyone now.

Only warning is that I allow opinions, so be prepared to disagree with each other once in a while and not take things personal if that happens.

Posted 5 years ago[CLOSED]
Hola!
Example: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/38263475/
I want to do an NSFW solo thigh-up painting in that ^ kind of style.
Male or female.
Big genitals is okay, no hyper.
Some clothes, extra limbs and accesories are fine if they are out of the way from the NSFWness.
No empty, new accounts or secondary accounts. Please each person only enter once, if I catch you cheating you get blacklisted.
To enter be (1)watching me, (2)make a journal inviting more people with at least a link to this one, (3)leave a comment down below with your character reference, link to your journal, and general details of the pose you'd like (for example: "Make him showing off his big phat hard cock and grinning to the viewer, wearing only his shirt"). If you want me to wing it, give me two or three words that describe the character's personality in case it's not included in the ref, so I can draw them with an appropiate expression. Don't go into big detail, keep it brief, I'll ask for further descriptions to the winner if necessary.
In a few days I'll close this raffle and select a winner based on your comment order using a random number generator. I'll pick a second winner if you guys push me past 4k watchers n_n

Artist Red Flags - Compilation.
Posted 5 years agoHola! For a little thing I want to do I want your help with input on unprofessional behavior from artists that signal potential risks of problems ahead in a commission or any form of transaction with them.
To keep it simple for now I'll only list the issue, but I won't include a description for why each point is a potential red flag or how high the risk is over each entry yet, because of course each specific case has reasonable caveats and exceptions. You can go in as deep reasoning as you want in the comments for your point, though.
Here's some I've seen, though not really experienced myself since I'm here making content instead hiring artists to draw for me. (Thus why I need your help with this list xD)
Try not to name specific artists, just share what was the bad experience and the hints they let out of what was going to go wrong.
The artist:
Doesn't have a public commission progress list.
Doesn't readily offer alternative methods of contact.
Doesn't have a public price list.
Doesn't have a public terms of service document.
Deletes public shouts, comments, feedback or critique that is not offensive.
Goes by multiple names.
Takes more commissions before completing the ones in line.
Has unreasonable completion time since payment has been made until artwork is delivered.
Is repeatedly asking for donations because of different tragic events.
Doesn't facilitate communication during the transaction.
Declines making small adjustments and modifications to the early phases of a drawing.
Adds unreasonable sudden extra costs.
Refunds without explanation.
Increases prices and drops/refunds works already in line, or attempts to charge the increased prices for them.
Refuses to show progress updates.
Adds intrusive watermarking.
Asks the client to bypass proper transaction methods and documentation. Asks you to send the payment as donation, as family/friend.
Asks for wishlist items as payment without the option for a regular transaction.
Doesn't offer refunds over any circumstances.
Spams, solicits about their services.
Is new/has only a few works published.
Has inconsistent style or large variations in quality.
Isn't proficient in any of the languages you are.

Printed something I drew for you?
Posted 5 years agoI was wondering if anyone has printed something I drew. I'd like to see if posible, I'm curious.
There's couple of badges that were printed and laminated that I'm aware of, but yeah, I'd love if you let me see if you have printed something I made for you.

Everyone staying safe I hope.
Posted 5 years agoIt's been a while since everyone's daily life started being disrupted by this global pandemic. Many have lost their jobs, many are still working and more than ever because their jobs are more demanded now, and it's probably gonna be a while longer like this.
I have no words for the ones not caring about this mess just because THEY are low risk.
For everyone else, no matter if you're going crazy from being stuck at home or risking your health working harder than ever, I hope you stay safe and keep the ones with compromised immunity safe too. We'll get though this shit together.
I personally didn't have to change much at all since I already was mostly working from home, going out only when extremely necessary for groceries or special jobs, I don't have many local friends, my family relationships are all broken, and for a few years now a good portion of my food comes out of my own little garden. So I've had many years already getting used to a boring stuck-at-home living before all this.
Also, this year I started working out. At the start of the year I was in a real slump physically and mentally, super depressed and my body breaking apart from injuries I've piled up through the years, so I started with a really light 10 min daily routine for the first and second month very carefully until my knees and back got strong enough to do actual work out... and at this point I've been able to crank up the intensity of the work out quite a lot.
Not only got my body out of the total stalling it was in. The pain on my joints and specially the back pain that was a daily thing for years are now gone and I'm even starting to get muscular, still there's dad bod but yeah, fat is getting burned little by little and muscles are coming out. Mentally I've been so much better just after the first couple of months.
I'm kinda happy, even if many things aren't going well for me in some aspects.
What I'm trying to say is that through this isolation time is a good idea to work out, keep your body active. It does help the mind, specially if you strenghten up enough to get rid of some chronic pains... having constant pain makes you mentally miserable. You can do a very well rounded work out routine with only body weight if you don't have any gear, just do a routine that you can stick to, make it more challenging only once it get's too easy.
Stay healthy, guys!

First freebie of the year! [Closed]
Posted 5 years agoEntries closed, I'll pick the winner and announce in a new journal in a bit.
Hola!
Let's do the first free drawing of 2020.
The drawing:
1. Can be SFW or NSFW.
2. Can be my regular lineart style, or my experimental painting style.
3. One character.
4. A second character is allowed partially (Like... only their hands or genitalia visible). If you wanna be with one of my characters they can be more promiment. My cheetah (male-gay)Ricky and the dragons (male-bi)Craft and (female-bi)Nina are up for anything, my other characters lion-fox Leon and mare Sarah are only SFW, but can be NSFW if they are side by side with yours, not doing anything directly with each other so to speak.
The rules:
1. +Watch me. If you're new maybe first take a look at my gallery to make sure my skill level is acceptable to you and actually like my style ;)
2. Help me grow. Make a journal with a link to this one and don't delete it until the winner is chosen.
3. Leave a comment down below with a link to your journal, tell me what's the last movie you saw, and leave your questions or suggestions about the raffle if have any.
4. If you worry that there's a chance I'll have a problem drawing your character, add a link to it and I'll tell if works for me. Maybe take a peek on my gallery to see what range of character types I usually do.
5. Empty, inactive or recently created accounts will not count.
6. One entry per person so everyone has equal chance. Multiple accounts of the same user won't count, and most likely will get blocked if someone finds out and tells me, so please comment only with your main one if you have several ;D
7. I'll pick a winner with a random number generator in about 48 hours from the posting of this journal.
8. If we make it to 4000 watchers with this I'll pick a second winner o.o!
I think that covers about everything \o/

Censored art triggers me xD
Posted 5 years agoIt makes me literally angry, I've unwatched a few artists because of it.
To me it's like if back then you were given Doom to try out, but all the demons are a purple and black box of error texture instead of having you play the first chapter as it is.
When an artist puts the whole picture but censors the juicy bits and asks me to pay to see the thing, feels wrong. Feels like I'm subcribed to an account that is only showing me ads, or playing a game that is pay to win and stuffed to the brim with microtransactions. I can tolerate it if that artist upload uncensored stuff consistently too. My problem is when it's all censored, all ads.
Of course we artists are trying to make a living out of this, some have higher cost of life than others, but that's the same argument abusive game developers make for defending predatory microtransactions... in the end they are chosing to monetize their stuff so aggressively regardless of the circumstances.
It's not a big deal when it's for promoting a whole comic cuz reposting the cover over and over it's spammy, so it's better if they show some censored interesting bits of the pages once in a while to draw more people in, but when it's for individual images it just triggers me hard.
Maybe I'm just being unreasonable, but that's how I feel x_x Censored art annoys me.

Gimme a pkmn for lewd prons.
Posted 5 years agoI wanna do something small just for fun today before I dive back into the thing I am actually supposed to be working on xD
So... Gimme one pokemon you like, I'll sketch a few being all kinds of inappropiate. You "can" suggest gender or what to draw em doing, but the more specific you get, the less likely I'll be to do it since it's for fun, so it may be better if you only name the mon and let me decide what to do with them unless you have a super hot idea.
It'll be only ferals, no anthros.
It'll be only sketches, maybe I'll throw some quick shading here and there, we'll see. Going for quantity over detail this time.
I'll probably avoid the ones that are clearly babies... I know popular artists here get away with breaking the underage rules, but I'm small so easy to punish without backlash from fans, but also I personally prefer not to draw that type of stuff anyway, so... yeah.
Also only one mon per person, so use your comment wisely to get us some hot stuff OvO I won't pick randomly though, I'll select a few that click in with my imagination and lewd ideas.
Go go!

I'm having a conundrum. Art block?
Posted 5 years agoUsually I can just sit down and draw what I have to draw for hours. But the past few months it's been super hard to do anything, and I'm not sure why.
I'm wondering if I'm just lacking motivation, or it's depression. But it's weird. Other things like attending my garden and doing daily workout has not been a problem, I just get off my ass and do it. But it's art that I can't sit down to do for more than one hour at a time.
It's not that starting a workout routine it's making me itch for keeping my body moving instead of sitting for hours, because I can still be a potato sitting for hours playing games or watching videos, no problem.
I don't think it's art block either, because at least when I read other people sharing about their art blocks it hints heavily at lack of inspiration where the thing they are drawing doesn't come out as good as they want, and that's definitely not what's happening to me because the time I do sit and draw for a bit the art comes out normally without unusual obstacles and I feel satisfaction with the poses and ideas I get to put into images. It's definitely diferent. I just start itching to do something else after an hour.
There's a lot of stuff I need to get done, I have to push through and just be disciplined, not allowing myself to stop. But it's being ridiculously hard at the moment.
My best guess right now, trying to look at what's going with me as objectively as possible, is that I'm simply craving company... To have someone to talk with while I work. So I'm compensating with external stimuli of games and videos to help me turn my brain off and waste time until I go sleep.
But yeah, I'm super confused right now. Confused and guilted for not getting done the things I need to do, specially for the couple of people who are supporting me on Patreon.
Oof.

New year resolutions are dumb, but...
Posted 5 years agoIf I haven't been able to do the things I wanted to do through the year, a new year is not going to make that any easier. That's why I avoid setting new year resolutions, positive and hopeful as they might be, they just don't make any sense... there's no difference to start a change in your life the first day of a year more than any other day of your life.
BUT. What it is, is the excuse to try... and that is good. Good as any other excuse to begin an adventure or challenge in your life.
However, when you set a new year resolution, you need to be realistic about the objective, and more importantly: Set the steps you'll need to take to make it happen.
For example, if your goal is to get in shape next year, just wishing for it is not going to make it happen. What will though, is if you decide an excercise routine and fit it into your daily schedule, make a change in your eating habits, and stick to both of these things no matter how hard it gets... until it becomes a new habit, then it's not going to be hard anymore.
If you set your new year resolutions without seriously thinking on what steps and changes you need for it to happen, you'll just disappoint yourself and get depressed.
Be realistic on your goal and make a list of the steps to make it to that goal.
Happy new year and good luck on this new decade! \o/

How did this decade treat you?
Posted 5 years agoHappy holidays everybody!
It's the end of a decade. How did these past ten years go for you?
For me it's been quite chaotic. Started drawing in 2011, and have grown quite a bit as a furry artist since then. Met several people through doing this, some in person, some relationships happened and broke apart making me learn a lot about myself and other people, it's been a rollercoaster at times, with a bunch of happy times and a bunch of pain too.
Things with my family have turned terrible this decade, there's barely any bonds left with any of my relatives. If things work out well I might just move to another country eventually.
If I had to make a balance of it all, I'd say it's pretty much in the middle between good and bad because I got to experience a lot of great things even if they all turned to shit in the end. So, yeah, just a "meh" decade for me.
Hoping from 2020 onwards things work out a little better for me, and hope I manage myself a little better with the experience gained.
Tell me about your 2010's

Posted 6 years agoShare your experience, or your worries in case you're keeping it to yourself.
In my case I was open about it since the first moment. But it's my specially embarrasing social situation that made it easy for me.
I'm super introverted and socially inept.
All my life I've been the worst at making and keeping good relationships, I barely have any relatives I keep contact with, I was never able to have a good breakup to at least stay friends with my exes. There's only one good friend from high school who has my back and I his and can count on each other anytime... but it's a low maintenance friendship, I had access to his bank account when we worked together for example, I might still do if he hasn't changed his pass codes, but we rarely hang out or talk to each other if there's nothing urgent.
Right now most of my friends are such because they found me as a furry artist first, and they are all long distance online relationships, so I don't even get to hang out with them if I don't travel to their country.
Since I'm absolute shit at socializing I never cared about what my friends or family would think about what I do, so I openly told them that I'm a furry artist when I became one. Some friends were curious, so I explained what it is about and let them see a little past the stigma and stereotypes, some even browsed through some of the stuff I had drawn so far, I still chat with some of them once in a blue moon. Others didn't inquire about it, which I imagine it means they don't care whatsoever or they stick to the stigma and stereotypes and just step back without wanting to know more.
My real name is linked to my artist name. I didn't care about hiding one from the other. My clients see my name in the invoice, my personal and art facebook are related to one another, I have shared some of my drawings in my personal accounts, it's not hard to find my real name with a couple of clicks on the internet, etc.
I'm sure there are rumors and stuff behind my back among some of my relatives and friends who chose to stuck with the prejudices, but I just don't really care enough to make sure everybody knows exactly what I do. If they wanna think I do horrible unspeakable things, I'm fine with it. xD
So, yeah. For me was easy. I just don't have many people around who I would worry about disappointing or being judged by.
How is it for you? Keeping it private, or have you told them you're a furry? How did it go?

Question for you who likes NSFW YCHs, artists too.
Posted 6 years agoSo, I'm pondering about having people bid for multiple poses together, specifically those that are having sex.
The idea is that if you buy both (let's use a couple as example) poses, you have full control of the sex and gender of both characters, aswell as some modifications like changing the hole being penetrated. While if I offer the individual poses as usual I have to lay down more rules to limit the sex and gender options for each pose, and if I leave them too open you'll have to consider the risk of your pairing to be some gender that you're not very into, like a cuntboy instead of a female, and the alternative is to make it very restrictive and leave out of the run herms, futas and cuntboys for example, but you'll know exactly what kind of furry you'll get paired with besides of their species.
Bidding for two poses together will mean that you get to put two of your characters in there, or you gift a pose to a friend, or you and your friend bid together deciding between the two of you what's your budget and if you split 50/50 or something different... I don't really know if that would bring trouble, because it leaves up to you and your friend to decide the value of the poses that you bid together for.
So, I can't make my mind about this idea. So far I'm leaning more towards offering all poses individually as usual and have them restricted to only males and females, and leave some poses that are not directly having sex in the image available for more variations.
Maybe some of you have already bought into some YCHs that bid for multiple poses together with a friend, or you're a fellow artist with more experience in different types of YCH offers.
Let me know what you think about this please n_n

My internet's back after a month. Hi all.
Posted 6 years agoHi all, I'm back.
I see a bunch of new watchers! Welcome to my gallery, thanks fur the watch!
So, a month ago I got my internet line cut by a truck or something and two main things conspired to keep me off the internet since.
'First' was the coincidence of my line getting cut with the start of the riots in Chile. A truck or something cut my line, and then vandalism caused damage to the aerial wiring in the area all within 24 hours. And 'second' was that the call center is managed by highly incompetent individuals from a different country, I believe is Colombia from the accent but maybe Venezuela, not sure on that, and they were unable to process my problem properly, they didn't understand the difference between a general problem in the area and my personal line from the post to my house being cut, and kept assigning my problem as that it would get fixed when they repair the general area problem despite of me trying to explain the difference very carefully, they never got a tecnician to my door.
It's been extremely frustrating to work like this. I use my desktop for everything. My mobile phone is super shitty, prepaid, I use it only for emergency since I barely go out, and I have invested all into my desktop and obviously the land internet line.
It was a pain to keep contact and move reference files to my pc through my phone, it's sluggish as fuck, and costy since it's prepaid. But I managed to complete and deliver the works I had lined up.
Finally two days ago I contacted assistance through their twitter account instead of the normal call center, I got a chilean to call me and he sent finally a fucking technician today to fix the thing.
Oof, sorry, swearing. Lion angry.
I've been a very frustrated lion for the past month. But I'm finally back.
I'll be uploading some drawings later today~

How much nudity and sensuality can you do on Instagram?
Posted 6 years agoI see a lot of butts and nudity that is not showing genitalia, but the terms say you can't show close-up naked butt cheeks. So I guess they don't enforce their rules that much? Anyone with experience on Instagram can give me a little tl;dr of how far people are allowed to take it there?
This might be related to a future project.

Drawing Tip of Awesome #3
Posted 6 years agoDTA#3: Don't rely on stabilization.
It'll become a bottleneck when developing your skill, specially when you decide to try to learn new techniques.
This is most important if you're just getting started. Turn the stabilization completly off and spend your first month getting perfect smooth strokes by yourself, then turn it back on... so it's just a tool making your work easier and you can still perform equally well without it.
Additionally, in less powerful hardware, a high level of stabilization will delay the drawing of your line... you'll be working in permanent lag which will introduce a whole load of new bad habits and issues into your process that you'll have to spend time and effort later on to correct.

Where are you more active about furry content?
Posted 6 years agoWhere are you more active for art, artists and commissions?
I'm most active here on FA since it's where I have a bigger following. I'm also pretty active on Twitter even though very few people follow me there.
I've been trying to follow more artists on Twitter, but the deal with Twitter is that people share their political opinions a lot, and it's tough to respect someone else's opinion when it's opposite of my own. Gotta remind myself a lot that disagreeing is okay and I can still like their artwork.
In any case, Twitter is probably the best way to contact me after email and Furaffinity. Follow my Twitter in case FA is down ;D Link is on the header and footer of the journal.
I have a Facebook page too, but I'm considering killing it. I don't like Facebook and how cluttered it has become... Pushing their offer to advertise my posts for money way too hard, and the fact that it's only clean content... so more than half of my drawings don't get uploaded there anyway since I spend most of my time drawing jiggly bewbs and throbbing dongers.
Discord... hmm. I'm quite shy, I have strong NPC energy as in it's pretty hard for me to start a conversation and most of the time I only chat if someone talks to me first. However, I have a little secret Discord server that it's mostly related to my current comic Hybrid Pride, where I share some previews and other things with Patreon supporters.
I've been thinking on inviting people openly to it, and maybe give it some special love once there's a good amount of people in it... offer commissions there after Patreon and before general public, and do some unique stuff and offers for them.
But I digress... Where are you most active on about furry content?

Drawing Tip of Awesome #2
Posted 6 years agoDTA#2: Flip the canvas every so often while sketching.
Hotkey for horizontal canvas flip is usually H in most programs.
It's easy to grow numb to proportion issues on a drawing since it's a static image. Flipping the canvas resets your perception and lets you spot problems again.
