He actually went to my school, and I totally fangirled when I saw his animations playing at my major's hall. Not only is his art amazing, but the comic is pretty darn funny too. I'm doing some free sketches everyday over on ChickenSmoothie for their advent season and I suddenly thought, "Hey! This is sort of like the Iron Artist, right?" I don't know the rules for it, other than it seems to be do 100 commissions in 100 days? Or something?? If you guys know anything, I would love to hear it!

It probably wouldn't start until after New Year's, because the CS art will be keeping me busy until then. So who would be interested in buying a slot? And how much would you be willing to pay? I need this input so I can determine what style I'm going to go with. I don't want to do full paintings for $5, ya know? XP

Yep, back in the 'Bury to do some portfolio building and job hunting before moving out again. It's sorta weird being home, but not in a bad way.

Now June is here, so that means I'll finally be opening for commissions! I need to get a price guide together, as well as a list of what I'll be offering, but hopefully that won't take too long. First I gotta finish that group picture from what seems like forever ago, but after that I should be set to start.

Sorry things have been so slow around here guys! This is the last finals week of my undergraduate college career, so there's a lot going on. My parents are going to be here the morning of graduation because my brother graduates the night before, which mom swore wouldn't happen [lol whoops]. Gotta take a test today then spend the rest of it drawing muscles on my made-up creature, doing a small sculpture of it, and doing a nice illustration for it. Gotta pack up the apartment too! I'm actually surprisingly calm about the whole ordeal [right now anyway, that is subject to change]. The thing that's making me the craziest is that I have all these things I want to draw, but i just can't right now! It's just frustrating, this is the most inspired I've felt in a long time. I just want to ride it like a wave. :3

So I have a small announcement: I'm reviving an older account that I abandoned for awhile.  sayna is my first FA account, and as my namesake, I couldn't let it go. I intend to start uploading my personal art over there. That means all art of Sayna, Kaijah, and all my equid art are going to be posted up there more regularly. I'd like to turn leopryde into my commission account after I graduate. Before I start actually taking commissions this will probably be the random characters I doodle during class and whatever else I don't feel belongs on my the Sayna account.

I have an image in my head that I want to do to celebrate this milestone, but I need YOUR HELP! I need several of my watcher's characters to make this happen. I'm curious! As you may or may not have realized, my style tends to jump around a lot. I'm not sure if that's an advantage or a disadvantage, but it's not something that I can help. So I want to know, which do you guys like more? My more painterly pieces [which is the direction I'm trying to head in] or my flat color with basic shading? Would you like a combination of the two; ie painterly pieces that aren't so messy? How about what I draw? Random girls okay, or illustrations with more story to them?

Really, just give me your opinion on what you like about my work, and what you think I should do more of. Either stylistically or content-wise.

Congress is trying to pass a bill called the Protect-IP Act. This bill (PIPA) is being written "for" us creative types in order to "protect" our intellectual property.
