Hey guys! Share your news with me!
Posted 5 years agoHi guys! I've been away from FA for a while. My life constantly enters cycles of hecticness where things are topsy turvy for a couple of months and it causes a standstill in my production of furry artwork. :<
Most recently, I've moved into a new apartment, attended the Global Game Jam 2020 in my city (where I met some amazing people and got some game development experience), and generally was kept busy by my job(s)!
How are you guys? I had over a thousand notifications on FA since I've last checked them, and I removed them all, so if you posted something and you want it to get some attention, feel free to comment it here and I'll go look at it and +fav it!! :) Share any news you'd like to share too!

• There is only one exception to this policy, and that is when I feel that I cannot complete the project for whatever reason.
COMPLETION TIME
• After your order has been placed, I will contact you with an estimated time of completion that varies depending on commission type and complexity. Please note that orders that include a background and multiple characters will take longer.
• In the rare case of emergency - e.x: my tablet or computer needs repairs, or personal injury, it may take longer to finish your order.
• In the rare case of a high volume of orders at once, I will be working on a first-come-first-serve basis - don't worry, I'm a very efficient worker!

I'm back!!
Posted 6 years agoHey guys! As per my last journal I mentioned that I was having trouble finding an apartment and also that my tablet completely died.
I'm super happy to announce that I found an apartment and have moved in and settled in. There were many kinks to iron out, but everything is up and running now. I also managed to procure a new tablet and I'm now the proud owner of a Cintiq pro 24.
I'm going to be opening commissions really soon! First, I'd like to revise my commission system so I'm drawing more of what I enjoy drawing so I can always produce my best work. I'm also working on revising a 'sona that I can identify more with (i.e: that looks more like me haha).
As always, thank you all for your continued support! <3

Updates! I'm sorry I've been gone so long!
Posted 7 years agoHey guys!
I'm so sorry it's been so long since my last update. So as some of you guys know, I moved countries again around 6 months ago which has been nothing but chaos for the most part. I'm actually still struggling to find an apartment, and worse than that: my tablet has gone down the shitter. It's completely dead. I need to get a new one, but Uruguay's import system is just the worst thing ever and I'm having so much trouble sourcing a new tablet. :<
So needless to say, I still can't take any commissions. I do have a backup Intuos tablet from years ago, but it's definitely less than ideal and is causing some carpal tunnel. ._.
Some GOOD news is that I did manage to land a job as a junior artist at a video game studio! It's kind of a temporary part-time gig, but it is basically the entry level version of my dream job and I'm hoping it goes well and leads to great things!
Anyways I just wanted to update you guys! I'm not completely dead and I do plan to return!

Opening a few slots for $15 sketches!
Posted 7 years agoHi guys! Just wanted to let you all know that I'm still working on settling into Uruguay, but I've got some time to work on commissions so I'm opening 3 slots for sketches!
Any and all info on the sketches can be found here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/26639334/
Please make sure you read the description as this is a very flexible commission type and is essentially a PWYW.
Please note that the completion time listed is 24hrs from STARTING your order and not 24hrs within ordering! Rest assured though that it won't take longer than 48-72hrs to receive your order!
As always, thank you all for your unending support! <3

Posted 7 years agoHey guys! Just wanted to let you all know that updates will be slow for a couple of months as my family and I are moving yet again.

A bit behind on my $ quota this month...
Posted 7 years agoHey guys! This is just a journal to remind you guys that I'm taking slots for $15 sketches right now! (More info here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/26639334/)
I'm quite a lot behind on my quota for this month so far (at $310 out of $700), so I would really appreciate if you guys would let me know if you or anyone you know is looking to get something commissioned!
(I can do ref sheets, character designs, humans, comics, literally anything you want.)
(For more info on my financial situation, you can check this journal here [warning: long journal]: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/8511248/)
If you're a bit skeptical about commissioning me, or wondering if I'm flaky or not, check out my past reviews here: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/7085654/ (I'm super reliable, if I may say so myself!)
Thank you so much in advance! Please comment or note me if you're interested. <3

I'm Back! Let me tell you what happened.
Posted 8 years agoHey guys! It's great to be back on FA and it's even better to be drawing again. I kind of disappeared without much of an explanation, so please allow me to tell you guys about my life adventure.
First, here is the TL:DR version: I started a new job, then moved to a new country. I was busy for a while and had no time to draw. I moved into my own apartment in the new country, but I heard I might get a salary cut. My current salary just covers my rent, and I'm currently living off savings - I don't make enough money to pay for food. I would totally appreciate if you guys would help me spread the word that I'm always taking commissions - I need them now more than ever to cover my expenses on groceries/food.
My salary is $350. My total estimated expenses on rent, internet, and food every month is $750. I need to make an extra $400 every month to keep up.
Long version below:
Early this year in February, I started a new job that wasn't anything art related (sadly). That job has been going alright (or so I thought) so far, and I thought I was doing a great job. The job was to set up a company's entire social media presence - which I did well. And in addition to that, I also made sure their online shop was built, write for their blog, set up their newsletter and mailing list system, create every graphic they need for any purpose - all on top on managing their social media. I also now completely manage their site and entire online presence. I do an insane amount of work on a daily basis for what you might call a small salary. Anyway, more on that later...
Some of you may know that I'd been looking to emigrate out of South Africa with my family and boyfriend. Reasons are plenty: the economy is crashing, the government is terrible - but worst of all is the rampant crime and frequent murders you hear about on every media outlet. A few months into my new job, we'd finally figured out a way to get out of the country, and potentially settle on a lovely African island called Mauritius. The few months to follow were grueling and trying... boy, were they hard. My depression got quite bad a few times during the whole thing. There was a lot of paperwork, fighting with my family, packing up and cleaning out a house where I'd lived for 15 years, you name it. But on the 12th of October 2017, I landed in Mauritius - my new home.
I was ecstatic to finally be free. I lived in South Africa my whole life. It's my birth country. But I lived every day in constant fear that I, or anyone in my family, might get hurt, raped, or killed. It was so good to finally be free of that - live in a country where you don't have to sleep with your gun near your bed.
I immediately got to work looking for an apartment, and I found a great one. It's not the fanciest building, but the rent is priced well. I was set to move in when I got the bad news that my work salary might get cut in February next year, because the website isn't making enough sales. Great. After all the work I put into their company, and this is the thanks I get.
My current salary is just enough to cover my rent and internet (electricity and water is included in rent). As mentioned above, my current salary is about $350 per month, and this is before the cut. I might get cut to $200, or less. I have no idea. I'm trying my best to find extra work to supplement my income so I don't eat through all my savings. I need to make about $750 total every month to keep up with my expenses.
This is where I could use some help - if you or anyone you know is looking to commission an artist, please let me know. I have my prices ready, and I'm just in the process of finalizing a formal pricesheet.
Thank you so much, guys. And thanks for sticking with me. I'll be positing some new art really soon, and I'm also working on a 3D model portfolio which will hopefully be ready in a couple of weeks.

1 commission slot for $35
Posted 9 years agoHey guys! Would anyone be interested in claiming a slot for a $35 full body commission that would be similar in sample to this one? http://www.furaffinity.net/view/17867196/
I'm trying to buy my apprentice a starter tablet because she's unable to get one herself! :c The money would go towards helping a young artist realize her dream!
Please comment to claim and I will PM you!
Thanks in advance, you lovelies! <3

newest submission
Posted 9 years agoHey guys, just wanted to thank you guys for the faves and comments on my latest submission, but unfortunately, because I messed up big time, I posted it before it was ready to be posted so I have deleted it. ;n; But I will have it back up soon!
P.S: My computer has in fact been fixed, so we are good to go! I've only got 3 more commissions to finish, then I'm going to do a little overhaul of my art process.

UPDATES! and a thank you!
Posted 9 years agoHey guys! I just wanted to thank all my watchers for your continued support, and new watchers welcome aboard and thank you! I've passed the 300-watcher milestone and I'm so excited about it! <3
An update on why I haven't been posting:
I haven't been very active art-wise for a few weeks now because of some wicked computer-trouble! :( Three weeks or so ago my computer totally caved in and it was supposedly a power-supply issue, which I sent in for repairs and got a new PSU to resolve the problem.
So I got my computer back after that, but when I started it up I noticed it was significantly slower than before... out of a hunch, I opened up the case, and lo-and-behold, the repair shop had forgotten their test-RAM in there which is 2GB where I had an 8GB before. Joy! I had to wait another week to be able to pick up my RAM, but I did get some work done in that time because I had borrowed a stick of RAM from my boyfriend's computer to try to speed up the machine a bit.
I finally got my RAM back after some time, and when I put them back into my machine... well, it wasn't working. It turns out I now have a motherboard issue that I don't know how long it will take to resolve because the socket my CPU uses is hard to find a MB for... just fantastic.
I'm working as hard as I can to try to find a motherboard replacement so please hang in there, guys! ;n; After I get everything working again, I'm planning to get back into the arting at full steam!
Thanks so much for sticking by me!
