Yup, I saw it.

I mean, I don't like cubs / loli's / shota's / 100 million year vampire elves that just happen to look like toddlers
But it looks like a much bigger blanket ban, up to incredible leeway on subjective judgement, which could end up covering my art as well.

I like cute, small, petit characters, often stylized too, think Fidget from Dust: AET.
So it could mean that unless I purposely make them "overly adult"/"aged up", it could get me in trouble.
...
And you know, so be it.
If my art is too "spicy" for FA, I'll take it elsewhere.
I am not going to forcefully change what I enjoy to placate a barely functional shit-show of a site that I can't even browse due to a lack of a blacklist.

Finished "Ori and the Will of the Wisps"
Hoo...boy...

Some thoughts:
1: Whoever was chopping onions next to me during the ending - not cool.
2: Going to need to make sure the heart strings are fine, cuz Hot-Damn there was a lot of pulling.

Silliness aside, I must say that this game is a wonderful follow-up to "Ori and the Blind Forest". There is a lot that is familiar, which made me feel "Yeeeei, Oriiiii!"... and at the same time quite a nice bit that was new and fresh. I went in with the expectation of finding some new music I can fall in love with and play it over and over again until my brain shuts down... and well - Mr. Gareth Coker delivered.
The game still has the Ori difficulty, which at times may frustrate you (*cough* the Spirit Trials *cough*) but usually you know it is entirely your own fault... and hooo boy does it feel good once you succeed. (Also the aforementioned Spirit Trials aren't even required for completing the story mode, so I don't know what I'm complaining about).

Did you enjoy the spectacularly big escape sequences of Ori and the Blind Forest? Well how about we pair it up... with legit boss battles! Now you're an agile escape-artist... with a vengeance!
Liked the cuteness of Ori and the other spirits? Then how about we throw in some extra cuteness with the Moki!
Got a little bit annoyed by getting from A to B, then all the way to Z to get something you missed? BOOM, beam me up Ori, we have fast-travel.

So yea.
TL/DR : It is an amazing follow-up to the last game that is DEFINITELY worth the price.

Indeed, as the journal title says, an amicable resolution has been reached with regard to Kia.
Hopefully, no ill will shall remain.

So, how many of you remember the journal I had posted a bit of time ago about an artist who had dipped without delivering on their commission?
WELL, update quite overdue, but the commission has been completed for a little bit of time now (if I recall correctly, it was around the end of August). 
However, I did not update anyone about it, the journal staying up for some extra time, basically ending up as misleading information, right?
I suppose I had my reason - I wanted to give people an update on the matter once the artist actually posted the image. Artist no longer portrayed in a bad light and at the same time, getting some extra views because I would have linked to their posted image, the perfect ending to the whole ordeal. 
... But we are here. 
It's been long after the commission had been finished and the image hasn't been uploaded yet. 
It started to feel a bit irritating that I wasn't able to show off the image that had cost me money and some nerves as well. 
And it was only my own inhibition of posting images by other artists made for me before they themselves do that was the thing keeping me from doing it.

I posted the image(s) onto e621.net (actually the only site I feel comfortable posting art made for me on)

Well then I've gone long enough, I guess.
Back in the beginning of March I commissioned "ariannafray_pr" ( https://www.furaffinity.net/user/ariannafraypr/ - linking just so you know who to not commission, not who to swarm, ok? I trust you people )
Paid $125 for this too - I think my biggest commission purchase ever.
However, to this day I only have a basic sketchy preview to show for it, all the way back from April.
Months go by without any response, even though I've found evidence of the artist being active on several accounts (discord and VK) as well as a very recent livestream on Twitch.
Notes unread, messages ignored.
Their last journal suggests something horrible happened as it says "I physically can not work and draw now.", but I no longer believe that, as she has the ability to chat on Discord and make livestreams of herself drawing, but not to answer notes or messages from a person she took over $100 from.

So in conclusion, it seems like they just took the money and ran.
Somewhat odd when someone with a full gallery of images does this, but I suppose having talent doesn't automatically give you decency.
Hopefully nobody else gives the artist the time of day.


Man, I should have used that money for something healthier than this... like fast food.

Now why would I suddenly bring this up?
You may say it's a clear over-reaction, you may say "well maybe you're just a horrible person"
But the recent developments on FurAffinity have been appalling, to keep it brief.
"Nazi" witch-hunts, lack of transparency and a feedback-loop... Bleh.

To be clear, I am not a nazi... but it seems that at this moment that doesn't matter, because anyone who disagrees with the far left is branded with a cute little swastika. People who aren't the least bit nazi are being targeted, sometimes it seems even through "Guilt by association" or "Guilt by speaking to". And it seems that right now FA is run by far-left ideology.
And that makes me think I can easily be caught in the crossfire.
- I lean conservative in beliefs, which seems to be a horrible sin nowadays.
- I am against the fascist terrorists called "AntiFA", which seem to be loved by FurAffinity
- I am against forceful silencing of people, even legit nazis, which seems to be an unpopular belief. (Hell "punch a Nazi" is a thing, that's even worse)
- I am against communism and socialism, which seem to be the left's sweethearts.
- I follow and generally agree with some people who speak wise words, but have been branded as nazis (Hello David Lillie)
- I even believe the US and the world dodged a bullet by picking Trump (Man, this is probably reason enough to have me hanged, right?)

Really, I think the only reason I'm still here with all this " #ProofOfNazi " is because I'm basically a nobody who doesn't talk much about politics etc.
But I guess now that this is up I may become very incompatible with the community of FurAffinity. Oh well... you can only be silent for so long. And silence will not make things get better.


I hope this doesn't upset any of my followers, but I'm sure there might be some that will be. I also realize that bringing this up may even prompt people to unwatch/unfollow, instead of following on other platforms. However, it's something that can not be avoided as every decision has consequences - and deciding to keep quiet might just end up eating me from the inside.
Sorry to those who are upset by this and I hope that even if you disagree with what I think that we can live peacefully under terms of "agree to disagree".

Yup, I have run into a little bit of a problem.

Due to the Christmas season, I have returned home all the way from Germany to spend time with my family.
Unfortunately, the frantic departure has resulted in me bringing everything... except for my tablet wires. . .
The only thing I can do right now is stare at the at-this-moment big, expensive paperweight.

I am really unhappy with this turn of events. I had hoped to do at least some work on some pictures during my time off work, but due to my stupid head, I can't.
This includes the Foxymas result picture.
Therefore, I will only be able to work on it (and everything else) when I return... and even then, won't be all too quick with it, since I will be right back at work.

Man, what a way to sabotage my own time off work....

That time of year is fast approaching and I was thinking about some way to have a nice little Foxyverse celebration. Fortunately, I was able to cook up a plan that I am sure most will enjoy!
Unlike the Halloween event, however, this time there won’t be a contest, per say… rather, an opportunity to give to you, the fans, what you desire most.

Here is the plan!
1. Write out the thing/scene(s) you would most love to see drawn and submit it here: https://goo.gl/forms/X3cMmP7UggQ3kJC92
2. On December 16th all the desired ideas will be pooled, processed and filtered (See filtering conditions below).
3. The remaining ideas, that made it past the filtering, will be set up for a vote
4. The top-voted idea will be illustrated!

Filtering:
- Ideas will have to focus on the Foxyverse character-base (Amber’s No-Brainers cast, Peanut Berry Sundae cast, etc.).
- Ideas should not involve more than 2 characters (Might be fun to do a huge Christmas-party picture involving every character, but I would like to finish the picture before 2025).
- Submitted ideas can be naughty (NSFW) or nice (SFW), however, I reserve the right to omit the ones that go too far
(You can, of course, submit them, but chances are they will not appear in the voting list – if you are unsure if your idea is acceptable or not, feel free to contact me, preferably via notes).
- I must reserve the right to omit ideas which I feel I would be too difficult for me to portray.

Let me get a little bit real and less, say, upbeat than usual.
I am not exactly happy with my comics. I do not know exactly what it is that makes me feel this way, most likely it is a combination of many small irritants. However, I think it says something when each week, creation of the weekly page is always postponed until the last possible moments. At first, I thought the weekly page deadline was a good way to keep me "in check", not to let these stories get pushed aside and fade into the ether. And admittedly, that was true for some time, however, it might have been a temporary thing... might have "burned out".
I think I need to set aside some time to figure things out - I need a hiatus. It is a bold statement after the quite recent hiatus I've had in the 1st half of the summer, but I don't know what else to do right now.
I need to figure something out to return in me the joy of telling those stories... or at least the joy in telling what is left and making them whole.

So, I guess there's that.
I'm sure current life stress has had a role in this decision of mine, but just because I can endure it during the "breeze", does not mean it can't have real issues in need of fixing.
Alright, I'll end this before I get philosophical or something like that.

Just for the record:
- No, I am not discontinuing Amber's No-Brainers or Peanut Berry Sundae... at least, not yet.
- Of course you can leave your "two cents" on the whole matter. In fact it might help out if you've noticed something I've not.

Hello everyone.
I'm here to let you all know of a little bit of a hiatus of mine.
I am unsure how much artwork I'll be able to do during the upcoming couple of weeks. I might surprise myself and get to make a couple webcomic pages, might not get to art much in general. This is due to the final steps of my master's degree and several other upcoming events.

I hope to make up for it throughout the month of July, however - more comic pages, perhaps even some super amazing pinups. A fun month is approaching.
But for now, we must be patient.

I would like to pitch to you something of good, quality content.

Because you are most likely a fan of mine if you're reading this ( if not, Yoohoo! Hello there stranger, please make yourself at home! ^^ ), I can probably safely assume that you have a warm, cozy part of your heart dedicated to anthropomorphic characters. Therefore, I dare say that you would absolutely love the just released book by Geoffrey Thomas - "The Wayward Astronomer".
I can tell you first hand that it was an amazing read, one very much deserving of your attention. It has lovable characters, a gripping story and the pages just 'melt' as you go through them, so it will not feel like a drag going through page after page.

It even has a couple pretty illustrations! (Enough to enjoy, but not too many as to not feel like a children's book) Eye candy is always a plus!

So please, if you can, support the author and you will, in exchange, receive a literary adventure of a lifetime c :
