Califur Radio is now testing it's new online electronic station! For the time being, we're testing bandwidth and seeing how high we can set the quality!
Genres include techno/dance/trance/ and electronica in general. This is generally going to be music that will be played at the Califur Dance. Let me know how the quality of the audio is, and if you need instructions on how to connect!

Antheria is Canceled?? (Wait...no it's not....)

Here's how we'll address the rumors going on:
1. OFFICIALLY from the Chair and Co-Chair of Califur: NO, WE DON'T CARE IF THEY HOLD A CON! We permitted MOST of our staff to work for their convention, we could have easily told them that it's a conflict of interest, and they must choose one or the other. WE DID NOT. We support everything Antheria is doing as a convention, and hope they succeed. The immature brats who want to spread rumors that we wish their downfall, are as ill-informed as those who think myself, Hellfyre, is no longer Co-Chair for Califur. In fact, this is my announcement of my position as Califur 2011's Co-Chair. I will do my best to make 2011 as good as 2010, if not better!
2. OFFICIALLY, from 2 the Ranting Gryphon, and probably partially officially from Antheria: "I've heard from about a dozen separate furries now that Califur staff members are spreading rumors and telling people not to go to Antheria at the PS parties. Our unofficial policy is not to cater to drama. There's a very good chance that NONE of the rumors we've heard about each other are true at all."
I would have to agree with him entirely. There is NO CAUSE for Califur to tell people at the PS party to not attend Antheria. Anyone with a brain would know that the cons are 6 months apart. WE AREN'T COMPETING WITH EACHOTHER! Also, Rodney, of the PS house, personally wondered why Antheria wasn't there to pass out flyers to advertise their own convention! Rodney is a member of Califur himself, and one of the founding members of ConFurence. Why would he regret not seeing Antheria there and lack of their flyers, if he didn't want people to attend their convention?
I will offer the following. Anyone who has ANY questions, please post them below and i WILL go through each and every one of them and answer them. Anyone who has any judgements on either convention? Please wait until Antheria HAS it's first con, before judging them. I'm sure they'll be a great event, and like all other first-time cons, will have much room to grow. A. The person needs to inform everyone they know, and everyone they will meet, past or present, regardless of sexual adventures or not, that they have HIV, regardless of the consequences.
B. The person needs to only inform people she/he has had sex with, or done any activity that could pass an STD, and needs to inform only on a need to know basis.
C. The Person should tell only the people she/he feels have been at risk, and shouldn't divulge anything to anyone until she/he decides feelings have developed for the other person.
D. The Person doesn't need to tell ANYONE as long as protection is used, and appropriate measures are taken.
This is of course, covering the hypothetical that the person has no problem admitting it, but my question, is how much should they admit. Please answer A, B, C, or D; and post why you think it applies. Trolling will be met with deletion.

Leave a note letting me know about audio quality, and if you got disconnected while listening to it, etc. Let me know what you think.
PS. I don't care if you like the music or not, it's up there for testing :P
