Things almost back to normal.
Posted 14 years agoMy computer and internet are up and running finally, but my scanner is still hidden somewhere in one of many boxes. Recently finished moving across town into an apartment with two good friends. We're all members of the rock band, Critical Fail, and with exception to the lead singer, we're all under one roof. We're still settling in to the new place so I won't have much time for artwork for at least a week but as soon as I find the scanner and get it up and running I can continue posting a bunch of stuff I've been waiting to share. Thanks for your patience.
Creative Black Hole
Posted 14 years agoI've been in a creative black hole for the past six months and I'm only just now getting past it's event horizon. The drama that's been the underlying cause is finally over and only now do I realize how bad the past several months have been on me creatively. I apologize for not keeping people up to date on whats been going on but I like to keep personal drama off line. But now that things have calmed down I find my urge to draw rising again.
While moving things around I came across my old Wacom tablet and managed to find my pens for it as well. With a little luck I might be able to start digitally coloring some of my pictures soon. Irregardless, I have several new pictures to scan and post as soon as I clean them up a little. After that I plan on taking a few commissions in order to get back into the swing of things and to pay off a debt I have to an old friend.
If anyone is interested in commissioning me feel free to give me a PM or an e-mail and I'd be happy to discuss details and prices. My standard prices are 5$ for a simple sketch, 10$ for a pencil drawing, and 20$ for inked works per character. In the future I'll be available for digital commissions as well, but not until I get all my hardware set up and get some practice in.
Thanks everyone for sticking around and being so patient with me.

Still alive...
Posted 14 years agoSorry for the complete lack of updates over the past couple of months. I've been heavily distracted by real life drama and events but things are finally returning to normal. I'm working on several different things but none of them are quite ready to be posted yet. Hopefully I'll have something to post in a week or two, until then, please have patience.
Gallery and Scraps are clear of AUP violations.
Posted 15 years agoI went through and removed all the submissions in violation of the new AUP. All offending pictures were replaced with a link to my InkBunny site, though I haven't actually gotten around to posting any of them to InkBunny quite yet. Will probably do it a bit at a time over the next few weeks. I've left the thumbnails as they are for the time being but will most likely replace them soon as well to avoid confusion. Thanks for your patience in this matter.
Last Chance!
Posted 15 years agoThis is the 48 hour warning before I remove a lot of my artwork from this site. Anything even remotely cub will be removed. Even if by some miracle the cub ban is called off, I'll still be removing said pictures. I know I joked in my last journal that I would leave the non-nude cub snuff pictures, but I was only kidding. As far as I'm concerned cub snuff is still an adult situation involving cubs. I'll still be posting all removed artwork to InkBunny, though probably not a lot of things from my scraps folder. I will most likely replace all offending pictures with a censored image and a link to my InkBunny account.
I will still be posting to this account though my already infrequent posts will become even more infrequent. I do have a lot of tamer things to post in the future but will be awhile until anything is ready to scan. Thanks for all the new watches and faves. I wish I had the time to personally thank all of you. Thanks for watching :D

My opinions and future plans on current events.
Posted 15 years agoThe recent ruling on cub art comes as no surprise to me. What surprised me was how long they held off on it before finally banning it. I feel that Dragoneer and his staff fought a long hard battle to keep this gallery censorship free. Not even the UK or all of Europe banning it was reason enough alone. I truly feel that did everything they could, no matter how unpopular, to keep cub art from being banned. And for that I feel they deserve respect.
I don't blame a lot of artists for closing their galleries and moving to InkBunny. I've already had a site there for months and have been considering moving all my cub pics there for quite awhile anyway. And if InkBunny has to drop cub art as well, I'll still have Cub Central to post in. But it's sad to see so many artists I respect quit drawing or posting altogether over this. It's not the end of the world. There are plenty of other art galleries out there.
As for me, I believe it's best to keep your art in as many different galleries as possible. I will be removing all my cub art a day or two before the dead-line so people have as much time as they can to save anything they liked. I will also be removing all cub executions and snuff pictures that involve nude cubs just to be safe. From now on all cubs will be properly clothed before their untimely demises. All other art will remain and I will continue to post any art that is in line with the AUP. The Winston beach comic isn't even half over yet and I have plenty of other non-cub projects I'm working on.

Happy Friday 13th
Posted 15 years agoTo celebrate the special occasion I have posted a surprise gore flood. Sorry if it's not your thing but I was dying to post some of these for quite awhile. I'll try to post more regularly to avoid spamming peoples inbox with extreme floods of art.
Commission payment update
Posted 15 years agoI've given up on Alertpay for the time being. For those of you waiting to pay me, I apologize for the delays. For the time being I can take payments through my http://inkbunny.net/MathiasBlack account. There should be a support this artist button in the upper right. If that doesn't work I also will take checks, money orders, or well concealed cash.
I'm not taking any more commissions until I get a few finished. I should be accepting commissions again in a week or two. In between commissions I'm going to be working more on my Winston at the beach series and my Bunny and Puppy sleep over as well. Thanks everyone for your patience.

Open for Commissions.
Posted 15 years agoI'm now officially accepting commissions. Prices are 5 dollars per character sketched and 10 dollars per character inked. Nothing is taboo subject wise, but I'm going to be a bit selective on which commissions I do first. I'm going to be doing the simpler commissions I get first and work from there.
So feel free to send me private messages of what you want commissioned and I'll reply asap. Complex characters will cost more and I don't draw trademarked characters. Payment won't be required until I at least produce basic sketch outlines. I accept checks or money orders and also Alert Pay. www.alertpay.com I will not be sending originals through the mail, but you will get high quality scans and the rights to modify and distribute to your hearts content. I will post completed commissions unless requested not to.
If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask.

Scanner is officially go!
Posted 15 years agoI finally have access to a decent scanner now so expect plenty of new pictures from me over the next week or two. Plenty of different subjects so be sure to look at those thumbnails real close before clicking. I've gotten a lot of new sketchbooks lately and have been doing a bit of practice.
A large portion of what I got to scan is kinda sketchy and will go in my scraps folder but I do have some higher quality stuff to post too. I'm also going to rescan one of my older pics thats been showing up as a virus as I can't find my version anymore. I'd like a fresh scan of it anyway.
Thanks again for your watches and faves, I don't have the time to thank all of you individually, but I deeply appreciate your support.

Virus warning and update.
Posted 15 years agoApparently one or more of my older posts contains a trojan so I will be removing and reposting old pics as needed. Please let me know if any of you come across any other infected files.
Sorry for the lack of updates but the cable to my scanner got chewed up awhile back and I haven't had the time to get it up and running again. I've still been drawing and have lots of images to share when I get things back to normal. But anyone who's followed my art over the years knows that I tend to post in waves with usually several months in between each flood. I should have something for everyone in the next wave of pics. While rearranging things in my room I found my inking pens and my set of color markers so I may try doing some full color pics sometime real soon.

Finally caught up.
Posted 15 years agoI've finally finished scanning my backlog of old pictures from 2009. I would have liked to have had them all posted before the new year but the holiday season is always so hectic that I don't have time for anything but work and sleep. Things have finally started to die down again and I have a lot more free time to devote to artwork.
A warning for my more squeamish and easily offended watchers, the majority of the pictures I will be posting over the next week contain a lot of gore and death. However there will be a couple of cub pictures of the cute little puppy boy I drew recently as well.
I've upgraded to better sketchbooks recently so the quality of non scraps pictures should be much higher then what I've recently been posting, with exception to the Elsa vore comic which was done in one of my new sketchbooks. I also have a few other mini comics in progress that I hope to finish enough to post soon.

New pics coming soon.
Posted 16 years agoI've got a few new pictures scanned but still need to do a bit of work on them before they're postable. Some of them will most likely be posted in scraps. Irregardless, be sure you view the thumbnail before looking at these pics. (I apologize for the vore series thumbnails for being so difficult to read and will make sure I give very clear warnings in the future). There will be quite a lot of gore pictures most of which I drew around October. There will also be a few cub pictures and a couple of scat pictures as well. Most of these pictures are just sketches but all the rest of the art I need to scan will be of much higher quality.
Bad news and Good news
Posted 16 years agoBad news first. I've had swine flu this whole past weekend and still have it now. I'm already starting to recover but it really took a lot out of me. However, all that down time gave me a lot of time to work on artwork. Which leads me to the good news...
The good news is that I have quite a large amount of artwork to scan and post soon. I also have a functional scanner again too but it's going to take awhile to get it all scanned in and ready for posting. Theres a huge variety of subject matter so I'm sure there will be something for everyone to enjoy when I begin posting. Several pics are of subject matters I've never drawn previously.
Finally, welcome new watchers. I don't have time to individually thank people for every watch and favorite, so I like to thank all of you at once. Sorry I have not posted anything for so long. I assure you I was working on art the whole time. As a final warning, a lot of the pictures I'm going to be posting soon are extremely graphic so be absolutely sure you look at every thumbnail before you open a picture.

Still around...
Posted 16 years agoI haven't had much time to draw recently but thats changing very soon. Recently finished moving and I've almost got everything back to normal. I have not had much time to draw until very recently and might take on a commission in the coming weeks. However before I do that I need a bit more practice doing finished pictures, so expect some higher quality content in the near future.
I'm currently working on a few different series of pictures, however I don't have a functional scanner at the moment. I have one I can use, but it's a big pain to set up, so I'll probably wait to set it up until I have something new worth posting.
The first series I'm working on starts off with some NC cub stuff but ends with a humorous twist. I haven't decided on what the next series should be yet. I was thinking something violent and gory but can't decide what exactly I want to do yet. I mean I have tons of ideas but I can't decide which one I'd do first and with which species. I don't like picking on the same ones over and over.

Current events
Posted 16 years agoGetting ready to move in the next few weeks so I haven't had any time to work on new pics or get my scanner functioning again at 100%. Hopefully when I get settled I will have much more space for working on projects. I might even take on a commision or two in the coming months, but no promises. I'll post more on commision rules and prices after I move and think it over some.
Thanks for all the watches and faves everyone! I don't have time to personally thank each and every one of you, but I feel it would be de-humanizing to use an automated program to send my thanks.

New art coming soon.
Posted 16 years agoSorry for not posting in so long. I assure you I have been working on stuff, just very very slowly. Have at least a dozen pics to post over the next week. Just need to scan them and put on some finishing touches.
Spring cleaning soon
Posted 16 years agoIn a week or two, I'm going to go through my scraps folder and remove some of the art that I feel is of low quality(mostly the snuff). I will probably post some of the better non-cub related ones to F-Chan but many of these you might not ever see again.
I haven't posted much over the past month, but I have made up for it by drawing quite a bit. I have lots of new stuff to post over the next few weeks. Much of it is coloring practice and of much higher quality then my more recent quick sketches.
Over the next few months I'm going to be working on coming up with some short comics. Some will be porn, some will have large amounts of gore ,and some might actually have a plot. But most won't be more then a few pages though some might be in color.
*note* I'm not removing all my snuff art. Just the art that is very low quality.

Officialy back
Posted 17 years agoI guess a month off is good enough for me, though don't get too excited. I work retail and normally my hours are kind of light but during the holidays I tend to work full shifts. Combination of dealing with holiday shoppers and having little free time leads to not much work done artwork wise.
First thing on my agenda though is to finish up a few left over projects. I got some older art to scan and fix up, mostly cub art with a bit of snuff and gore here and there. Including the steam roller pics I keep hinting at. Also got a cute series of lil Nanookie undressing.
Near the end of the year I'm going to go through and determine which of my october pics were the most popular and redraw some of the scenes in higher quality. I have a bunch of new sketchbooks that I'm dying to fill. I'm also planning on doing alot more Husky Brothers pics as well as adding a few more characters to that line up. I'm going to reveal their parents as well as some of their friends from school.
Also on my agenda is further developement of Beaumont the Raccoon and some of his colleagues. On a related note I have a pretty old series of pics I posted long ago on FChan that I've reworked to replace the main villain (formerly a generic fox) with Beaumont. Some will probably recognize the pics as they keep showing on random furry sites now and again. I'll soon have that posted so everyone can see how that series ends. More very soon.

Thats all for now. Time for a vacation!
Posted 17 years agoThat wraps up my blood flood for now. There's still plenty more stuff for me to post but I won't have access to a computer for about a week. I do plan on doing plenty of drawing while i'm gone though. Most of it will be non-snuff related things so those of you who aren't snuff fans have something to be excited about.
For those of you curious, I do not use any instant messenger services at all. I'd like to have time to chat online but I have so many things going on that it's hard to have any free time. Thanks for the feed back and favorites recently to those few die hard fans that love this stuff as much as I do. If only more artists drew this kind of thing. >:)

The Horror!
Posted 17 years agoAll the Gore and Snuff I've posted this month is tame compared to what I'll be posting over the next two weeks. It'll all be clearly marked as usual but I've decided to give an extra warning to the squeamish. I have several particularly nasty mini comics featuring rape, snuff, and necrophilia to post as well as some Hard Vore, Executions, Impalement, and Cock and Ball Torture (mostly involving balls.) I also have a delightfully gruesome series of pics of a busty bunny babe being crushed by a steamroller.
Once again nearly all these pictures are in ball point pen and some are kind of low quality. Some are also quite old by my current standards. At least one of these comics is a redraw of a comic I posted a long while ago.
I have quite alot of pictures yet to post so I will mostly likely put them up in waves so I apologize if you don't like this subject matter, since there will be quite a flood of them. I have a few non-gore pics to post as well, mostly cub stuff. Thanks for all the comments so far. It really encourages me.

The Blood Bath Begins
Posted 17 years agoInstead of just flooding a bunch of gore pics over a few days (and because I'm having scanner issues,) I've decided to spread them out over the whole month. I'm gonna try to post at least one a day, though I might miss a day here or there. I'll also throw in some non-gore pictures from time to time.
I have to admit that the quality of some of these pics are pretty low and nearly all of them are ball point pen sketches. I've only selected what I feel are the best, or worst depending on your tastes, of my recent works. Save them while you can because I will most likely remove them after a couple of months. Ones that get alot of faves and comments will most likely be re-drawn in much higher quality.
I'm gonna start this month of carnage with some brutal carnage featuring my raccoon character, Beaumont. Also have some hanging pics and other miscellaneous gore to post later in the week as well.

October = Snuff Month
Posted 17 years agoIn the spirit of Halloween I'm going to be posting a ton of snuff sketches I've been doing. I figured I'd give the people watching me a heads up in case they don't like that subject matter. Feel free to unwatch me if it really bothers you, as I don't mind all that much. I won't start posting them until October 1st so you got about a week before the blood flood starts.
Whats goin on.
Posted 17 years agoJust a friendly heads up as to what I've been up to. The FA down time didn't really affect me much as I was busy the entire time it was down. I've been sitting on a ton of sketches but I don't really know if I should even bother posting most of them.
I really have not had any time to sit down and work on anything serious in months, though that could be changing soon. I'm going to go ahead and make a list of current projects I have yet to work on so everyone can see where they stand if I owe them something.
1. Random Female Feline cub. -Anonymous friend
2. Edis Hard Vore Snuff pic. -Gift pic for a great artist.
3. Male Porcupine Cub bondage/discipline. -Anonymous friend
4. ?
Do I owe anyone out there a pic? I'm considering taking on a commission or two in the near future and I wanna be completely caught up on anything I owe before I do. So if you think you're owed a pic by me then please speak up. Requests don't count, sorry.

Lots of New Stuff
Posted 17 years agoI've been busy scanning and have a ton of pics to post. Though 90% of them are going into the scraps folder. Most are ball point pen drawings I've done for practice. Some are pretty good, others are kinda crappy. Some might be re-drawn on better paper with better materials. I'm probably only going to post a few at a time to prevent flooding.
In other news I will be at RCFM this up coming weekend. I plan on spending some time in the artist alley and might even do a sketchbook pic or two. Me and my band mates in
criticalfail will also be playing a show on Saturday night. Come check us out if you're there. We got our latest album for sale.
