Looking for a easy, engaging read then you cant fo wrong with this. It got me through the last month or so of my college course as a de-stress from staring at a mac screen.

The plot goes thusly

Jamie Gray (Our MC) is up for his 6th month review at a food devilery service pre covid, thinking hes going to crush it, hes very confident until his arsehold of a boss knocks the wind out of his sails and he finds that he has to work as a devilery personal to keep his home and his 2 friends with him.
Skip forward about 6 months and while on his last job due to the company being bought out by a well known brand, hes getting canned as his rating isnt high enough.
Turns out his last client is a old acquaintance who offers him a strange job.
Before long Jamies off to the charming Thule Airbase to see what his new job is about.
Turns out Kaiju are real

Its a easy ready with not too many characters to keep track off, a well thought out world and a neat ending I really liked
So if your in the mood for a easy fun read, you cant go wrong with this

I know some of the more longer term watchers are used to more uploads and journals from me but theres been a lot of behind the screen stuff happening, thought i'd give you some info

I've been in hospial
So about 2-3 months ago I hada horrible weekend, thinking it was food posioning I tried to sweat it out but by the third day it was like "nope" and after me ma gave me a clip off the ear and follwed it up with a ear full she dragged my dumb arse up to A&E were I was amitted with boarderline ketone acidoses (I THINK thats how you spell it) and after a spetices scare - gout
That took almost a week in hospital then bout a month under ma wolfs supervision.

I've had eye treatments
Two of the wonderfull things, basically involes getting a substance injected into the eyeballs to dry up fluids relating from my diabetes, it's mostly painless but it does mean I dont like bright lights for about a week afterwards and tend to have a hydrating gell put into my eyes several times a day and frankly thats like gluing your eyelids shut, I acutally woke up one day with the pillow stuck to my face due to rolling facedown on it during my sleep shortly after falling asleep so it dried to the pillow Fuck my life :p
And the best thing ?
This isnt over, while the injections are done in a series of 3, I also need some laser treatment on my retina's this time on both eyes, so I aint going be drawing after that happens in a month or so

I had to get a new phone
My beloved Expirea decided it was going to be a little madam and after dealing with it responsible (and picking it up after yeeting it across the room onto a pillow, I'm no that daft) I got a Pixel.
And I'm not a bit fan of it, it's a needly little madam and I can't make it talk to my Tower. I'm putting it down as "Blind man dumb" and am waiting for a old friend Savage to have a look for m

Home Decoraions
Stressing out about finding a fella to come in and fill a hole in my kitchen counter so i can mount a Air fryier after my cooker died on me and the repair people couldnt find thier arse with several pairs of hands. This is normally a trivial issue but my phone anxietys been acting up

I'm starting college soon
Starting a HNC in Art & Design to actually learn how to draw properly XD
Looking forward to it, But by the gods the online forms are stress inducing (mostly due to my visual issues) and rage inducing. I had to fill in secual prefrence as a mantorty field but there was a cocking option for "prefer not to say" so what the fuck was the point in that ?
I did try to play with the system by putting My Lord in te prefered pronouns so that will be intresting XD
Gods I miss paper forms

So hopefully art posting will resume once i get the phone issue sorted.

Overall I enjoyed this, the humans are more involved than previous films that I have seen, and I havnet seen all of them.
The plot is intresting, neither the Autobots or Human elements overpower the other, though if Wikipedia is to beleived (HA) this is a prequel to the 2007 film which I have so far thought of 4 questions that show how fucked the timeline is in that case.
Treat Bumbblebee and Rise of the Beasts as a reboot and the film works WAY better.
Maximals are cool with only 2 quibbles, Air Razor gets a raw deal and while Rhinox kicks arse where was his miniguns ?
Also theres a nice nod to the orginal 80's film in he last third or so which was nice, a midcredit and a second bit which opens intresting doors that I hope they do something with

Overall I enjoyed it and I am a HUGE Beast Wars/Beast Machines fan. Bay's chock chain was being firmly head to restrain him and theres several cool battles throuogh out

Following a recent experiance with a local tabletop RPG group, I just wondered what people who Tabletop RPG expect from a game and a GM.
Is it more of a quick power game (quickly becoming mighty heros with lots of items), Stuff like Critical Role and the Legend of Vox Machina ? Short campagins or long form ones that can even become legacy games ? (where new characters are decentants of previous adventures etc)
Would just be intrested in other tabletop gamers experiances and thoughts as I consider my future in a hobby I've done for almost all my life XD

As stated previously, this is a fictional retelling of the drug related death of Pablo Eskobear aka Cocaine Bear currently displayed in a mall in Kentucky.

It's a comedy horror that nails the comedy and the horror, with some funny one lines and some surprisnly grusome effects.
Some of the CG for the bear is a little spotty but once the film gets to night time that helps cover any dodgy CGI.
Characters and subplots are present, namely
* The Cop who got a lap dog as a rescue dog rather than the "Mans Best Friend" style dog he wanted
* A Single mother who works as a Nurse who has started dating again much to her daughters annoyance
* The daughter who's acting out at her mum dating again and blowing off a promised event in the part so she skips school with her friend Henry
* A griving son of a drug lord and his best friend who are sent off by their boss to revcover the drugs lost and mostly eaten by the bear.

Theres a couple of sub characters / plots such as the thirsty Park Ranger with a crush on the wildlife activist who is a little out there and a trio of troublemaker teens who make the mistake of trying to roll one of the drug lords men leading to a very nicely shot brutal fight in the toilet
Even being partially sighted, the nighttime parts where visable to me which makes a change
The two child actors are really good though we spend more time with Henry (the kid in the tree from the trailier)

Theres a shocking death, a pair of fairly mean deaths, a fake out, a undeserved death. Cleverly most of the deaths are off screen with your Imagination doing the heavy lifting then they chuck the after effects at you.
A possible hook for a second gim right at the end
What I feel is a nod to the excellent Black Sheep horror film

Im also calling it now, some buggers going to make a film invovling a shark on cocanie

Go see it, its a blast

Cocaine Bear is a fictional version of Pablo Eskobear (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cocaine_Bear_(bear)) It is a glorylious nod to the 80's with a strong cast of characters, some of whom you want to see disimbowled others not.
I strongly recommend it

The next film I want to see is 65
