Since Aion is getting ready to go F2P, and they just reactivated my account for two weeks, I figured I might as well poke around in it. So I'm gonna log on, create a new character and do a bit of the starting area. I won't be on too long (no more than an hour), but if you ever wanted to get just a glimpse of Aion, this is the time!

Well ... it does for me at least. Technically, the beta will be open a couple more hours, but I don't really wanna get into yet another string of quests only to have them shut me down. I'll prolly go back to playing my priest next beta ... in two weeks. *cry*

Oh well, tomorrow Aion is giving me a two week reactivation and then is gonna go free to play so I might stream some of that. And then of course there is my normal SWTOR streaming as well.

I will be streaming tonight, but it will be a touch later. Prolly around 8 or 8:30 CST until about midnight. I'll be streaming Saturday and Sunday as well; times to be posted later.

I am uploading a video of the first 20 minutes of slayer gameplay right now, but it has quite a while to go still. I tried to use bandicam for the first time and, while the size is lower than fraps, the audio goes all haywire when I try to edit the video in Windows Live Movie Maker. So, instead of being able to compress it down even smaller, I'm having to upload the whole 3 gig file. Anyone else have this problem with bandicam? Anyone have another good video editing program that can handle the bandicam files (that I can get for free)?

Oh, I settled on a name for my slayer as well: Luxanna. :)

This weekend will bring us the second closed beta test for TERA. We'll be able to create two characters per beta server and there will be three servers: 2 PvE and 1 PvP. So, for those of you curious about the game, is there anything you would like to see captured on video that I can post to my youtube account?

Please keep in mind that I play only on PvE servers (I love PvP but only in battlefields and situations like them, because I hate getting jumped while questing or roleplaying) and that my main thus far is a high elf priest. I will be playing a lot of her, but I am certainly willing to make other characters or try odd things if there is something specific you want to see.

So let me know! If I am gonna be posting more game videos, I wanna know what you want to see. Also, I'm currently playing SWTOR as well, so let me know if there is anything you want to see from there as well. :)

Ok, so as many of you know, right now I am a HUGE mmo player. In fact, that's really just about the only gaming I do any more besides random FPS matches with friends. Anyway, I've been playing RIFT since beta and love it, but recently SWTOR has pretty much stolen me away from it. Of course, I'm max level in RIFT and not in SWTOR, so that might have something to do with it.

I figured that I would get to max level on a couple of characters in SWTOR (my Jedi Sage and Sith Assassin) and then I would go back to playing RIFT again. I mean, I love sci-fi as much as the next girl (geek girl that is) but there is just something about fantasy that keeps drawing me back. I loves me my elves and swords and magic and and and ... so yeah, I figured I would end up back in RIFT, or at least in SWTOR *and* RIFT at the same time. SWTOR would fill my sci-fi desires and RIFT would be my fantasy love mate.

But then came TERA came along. Ugh ... I wanted to not like this game ... I wanted to just dismiss it as another Korean grinder (despite my love for Aion) ... but then I got into the beta ... and I played it ... and I got hooked. I'm gonna be playing through the rest of the beta period on TERA to make sure that it wasn't just "new game" shock that got me hooked and that I actually like leveling past 20 (something that Aion and AoC disappointed me on a great deal) or if it falls flat after your starting experience like so many other games do. I just wish there was some way I could play more than the every other weekend schedule that the beta is currently in. >_<

So now I'm in the midst of a dilemma. While I really like RIFT and SWTOR, if I end up really liking TERA as well in the end, I just can't afford THREE mmo subs at the same time ... to say nothing of justifying the time that would be needed to get my money's worth and not letting one sit there idle (like RIFT is doing currently). Which games do I play? *sighs* /firstworldproblems

So there we go! I've finally gotten around to starting the process of re-uploading a good portion of my gallery. Following the advice of a couple of people who said uploading large numbers of images at once might be a bit annoying to some folks, I'm going to take this slowly, only two or three a day. And so I started today with the first two images I uploaded here of my old WoW Blood Elf. Tomorrow, the first images of my fursona Brianna will appear, so be on the lookout for that! I'll see you all then!

I'll be re-uploading my gallery. I won't be uploading EVERYTHING again, because that would just take too long. So, I'll be focusing on just the best of the best to get things started.

However, is it just me or does FA go REALLY SLOWLY now days? It seems like it takes it forever to finally load up the next page or to complete a command. This is gonna make uploading a large number of images just absolutely painful. Is this just the "degraded performance during peak hours" that I see listed in the Admin Notice? If so, anyone got ideas on what times of day the site is not so lethargic? Keep in mind that I live in Central Standard Time in the US, of course.

Some time ago, as most of you know, I deleted my gallery and presence off the web pretty much entirely. I won't go into huge detail here, but let's just say I was dealing with some extreme personal issues fora bit and needed to erase who I was for a while. Anyway, that was then and this is now. Things are better for me in my life now than they ever have been before. I'm happy, I'm healthy, I'm horny (what? I needed another h word) and I'm considering strongly putting my gallery back up. There are a couple of things that make this an issue for me.

1. If the images go back up, I don't have the stories that I wrote to go along with them any more ... so they would just be the images with a very brief description.

2. I have no idea anymore who 3/4 of these images came from ... so I would not be able to give credit back to the artists who made them.

3. Since money is tight nowdays, I don't see myself commissioning any new art for quite some time ... if ever. And I was never the type of gal who got free images thrown her way very much, either. So, everything in there would be old ... and I'm talking several years old by this point ... and so is there really a reason to have a static gallery of old images? I'd love to have images of me as my various MMO characters, but as I said, no money makes that a problem.

Anyway, those are just a few of the thoughts that are running through my head. Give me your opinions on these things. I would love to hear what you all think!

Hello everyone! Yes, I am still alive. I just haven't really taken part in the furry community in quite some time. I can't really afford any new commissions right now and I haven't had any pressing requests for the return of my gallery or anything, anyway, so no biggie.

Anyway, the reason why I am posting today is because I have been playing RIFT since beta and loving it. Trion just introduced their 7 day free trial program for RIFT and, if you sign up using my referral code, we both get goodies. ^_^

I just wanted to let everyone know that I am doing well and alive and all that. I hard a hard bit of time there for awhile, but that has since passed. I have met someone that I am completely and totally in love with and they make me happier than I have ever been, so all is well and good on that front.

I check in to FA every day to read messages and check out all the new arts ... but I don't really see my self posting any new art up here because #1 I can't afford it and #2 I'm not really sure what I would want any more. If anyone wants to use my characters in their own art or if anyone wants to gift me a commission, send me a message and we'll work out something.

I am still playing WoW but I have changed servers to play with the one I love so you won't see me around my old haunts any more. I am playing Perfect World, though, on the Rising Tide server as a tideborn assassin named Lyleth. If you happen to be there too, send me a message sometime as I am always looking for friends to play with and to "play" with.

For the first time in a long time ... things are pretty freaking amazing in my world. Thank you all for your kind comments and well wishes. I treasure them all from the bottom of my heart.
