I'm probably not going to be posting much art in the sense of images, but rather my writing. I'm not particularly confident in my skills as a writer, but I'm trying to push my limits and maybe let a few things see the light of day. It's been about a decade since I've had an account (that I now sadly don't have access to anymore since I don't remember which spam email account I used lol), so I'm now learning the ropes all over again. Maybe I'll see a few of you there :)

General update and thoughts

Life here is busy but good. My family's company is doing well and we've welcomed two little kittens into our midst that have been making each day so much brighter.
New commission slots are coming, as well as a batch of gachapon adopt eggs that I've been working on. If you want to see more updates of my art, since I only really put my "furry" and fandom stuff here, you can follow me on tumblr or instagram.
Life and Pride month thoughts ahead, feel free to skip.
I'm doing a lot of introspection lately. I've "lost" (read: cut out) two very close friends fairly recently. One at the beginning of 2018, and one this month. Both of them were people I'd known since 5th grade. That's 15 years of friendship. The first was easy - we'd simply drifted apart ever since we moved to different towns, and I realised that our sparse meetings were always instigated by me and rarely particularly enjoyable. We talked about fixing things a lot, but nothing ever changed. When I stopped reaching out, we simply didn't talk anymore.
The second was harder. It was a friend I'd lost sight of for a while before we reconnected a few years ago. He was one of the first openly LGBT friends I'd ever had (came out to me as trans when we were sixteen). Sometime in February of last year, he reached out to me to talk. He'd been severely depressed for a while and wanted a friend. I made a promise to him that we'd spend more time together again and he was happy. Little did I know that once again, I would be the only one to ever reach out. In the beginning, it sorta worked. We talked a lot more. Sometime in summer of last year, he told me he was truscum. He used the word himself, or I wouldn't be using it. But he doesn't believe in anything other than the binary gender system, to condense it all down. We talked about this a lot too. But I think it broke my trust in him, ultimately. I couldn't enjoy being around him, not while knowing exactly what he thought of people like my significant other and so many others. And he wouldn't listen to anything I told him, all the while not deeming me worthy of replies to texts when he wasn't feeling down. When life was good, I didn't exist. I've blocked his number now.
I'm so tired of exclusionism in our community. Xialthia and I's 4th anniversary is this month. That is what I want to be thinking about, instead. Hug the ones you love, make them feel safe and welcome and important. Let our brothers and sisters and nonbinary siblings in the LGBT community know that their identities are valid, and that they are worthy of love. Empower each other. Bake a cake, I dunno.

Commissions, Adopts, life update

I've been back from the US for about one and a half weeks now (visiting bae), and I think I can finally happily say that I'm at a point in my life where I can start taking commissions again. I noticed towards the end last time that I wasn't feeling confident in the way I was handling things anymore concerning acting in a professional manner, not to mention I've been working a fulltime job where I make a lotta art and designs. This has been going on for a little over a year, and I'm happy to say that our little company is thriving.
I'll probably be reworking my prices and options in the near future, but if someone's interested, I'm open to doing one last commission with the old prices.
Additionally, I'd love to start making adopts again. Is there anything in particular you guys would like to see? Mass Effect? General furry designs? More egg adopts?

How's everyone doing? I know I've been super quiet this year, mostly due to work. It's crazy I'm still getting new followers on occasion, what the heck? Where y'all coming from?
What's everyone's year been like? With me doing a lot of drawing and graphic design at work, I haven't had much time or gusto for personal art lately. I've mostly been working on finally reading my gigantic pile of stacked up books (12 books read so far this year! Go me! That's more than the previous six years combined) and working on my personal writing. People that follow my tumblr may have seen a little of my own headworld OCs, though as always I'm anxious as hell so I'm not posting much about it. I'm trying to be better about it. I have a bunch of dragon age fanart that I haven't uploaded purely due to my own anxieties, isn't that swell? I need to work on that.
Our company (I work at a small company run by my family, it's just three of us lol) has grown a lot this year and I'm really proud of us. I'm working on a colouring book that I'll hopefully be posting about sometime soon!
And last but not least, as the end of the year approaches, I'd actually love to hear a couple art requests! There's no guarantee I'll do all of them, but a few pointers of what you all are into lately. Even if it's just big beefy monster bois. Always looking for new things to inspire me, as I've mostly picked dead by daylight back up lately (anyone wanna play with me? all my old teams kinda moved on :( ).

I was thinking of something along the lines of a raffle (free commission, YCH, maybe an adopt?), but was wondering if there's demand for something else, or perhaps specifics you'd like to see! (more OT? Andromeda? if adopt, specific races you'd like to see?) That sorta stuff!

Life's kinda thrown me for a loop the last two weeks, so I apologise for the sudden absence. I've still been trying to respond to messages/comments etc to the best of my abilities, but I'm only just starting to get back onto my feet. Commissioners should be expecting updates in their inboxes within the next couple days.
On happier matters:
It's my 24th birthday in 11 days! I'm gonna be old! Looking forward to it!
As a present to myself, I finally bought myself my first BJD (which should hopefully be arriving mid- to late october). Absolutely cannot wait. If I can remember to in my excitement, I'll hopefully be making an unboxing video, since it's from a one-man company in russia.
On the topic of presents for myself: does anyone know any artists that are good at angara/kett/other ME-races that I might not know about and take commissions? I've got my eye on a couple artists I wanna commission in the future but I'm always looking for more. Need more art of my babes and don't have the time to make all of it myself. :c

I don't talk about IRL things online a lot. But after something that happened today, I just want to say thank you to all of you.
Thank you to those who like, fave, comment, and commission me. Even if I don't always have the energy to reply to every comment/note, I read and appreciate every single one of them. I appreciate the immense respect I've gotten from the community around me. Spirits know it's not commonplace everywhere.
I don't talk about IRL things online a lot. But after something that happened today, I just want to say thank you to all of you.

For now, I'd like to toss the question out there what I should be doing with my writing. (Big thanks to everyone that has read, faved, and commented on it thus far <3 ) I'm not sure whether to keep it on this account or move it somewhere else. Any suggestions? Should I just keep it here? Make a second account on FA? Move it somewhere completely different?

What kind of blog would your OC have?

These are based off of my experiences on tumblr, obviously.
Acario would have an A-Class shitposting blog. Like there's times you can't even tell if it might be a bot behind the keyboard because of the weird shit he's writing. Other times you'll see him reblogging guns, a variety of lewd bondage things, and food. So much food. He doesn't tag jack-shit safe for the nsfw stuff because he doesn't want to make anyone uncomfortable with that. If you send him an ask, he'll probably answer it in a really weird way. Except if it's sex-related stuff. He takes that shit seriously.
If you dig deep enough, you'll find his really tacky sideblog that is meticulously tagged with all sorts of inspiration posts for romantic things he wants to do with his wife.
Lian would have an aesthetic blog. There's a lot of pastels and quotes about taking care of yourself.
What you won't know until you follow (or check their blog regularly enough) is that there's also random vent-posts that are deleted almost as quickly as they pop up. They usually contain something along the lines of "can my faNS PLEASE STOP SENDING ME DILDOS"
Siderius probably has a porn blog, not gonna lie. It's fuckin' gay. Or, you know, fucking gays.
Arella has a blog documenting her transition, in hopes of it helping anyone scared of the process.
Tridant leads a blog discussing all sorts of religions. You can find any information you might need here, everything sourced properly. If it's not there, you can contact the owner of the blog and get the information you need. There's also lots of inspirational religious quotes and suggestions on various things (to quote Spade: "visit a temple that respects you disagreeing with it. Visit a temple that respects your hardships. Visit a temple that respects you. *7k notes*"). Everyone thinks it's led by some sort of college professor. You'd never guess the owner was one of the twelve headpriests of the Valluvians.
Adrien's blog is mostly filled with engineering and cute animals. He gets hype about advancements in robotics like no one else. If you need a virtual hug, he's a great person to come to. Also gives some good life advice and on how to deal with depression and anxiety. Doesn't talk about himself much, except for when he's sometimes gushing about his husband or kids.
Desolas would have a photography blog. He's weird an unapproachable and never answers asks.

Life update Oct. 5th
Posted 9 years agoJust a short update because hoosh.
A cold kicked me flat sunday evening. I spent two days in bed, but I'm recovering now. I hope to be able to get back to digital art tomorrow so I can pick commission-work back up.
Other stuff:
I'm participating in inktober, over on my tumblr. Feel free to toss suggestions at me. So far most of my plans for it contain me indulging in my love for slasher movies and drawing my tabletop RP characters.
I'll also hopefully be uploading some lore for my Faeries soon (now lovingly named Ekiries). I've been doodling up new designs and variations and working on their lore and having fun with that all around. Think I'll make one for myself when I'm done with that~
(also. One commission slot is still open as are two of the halloween design eggos~)

I won't be here tomorrow to open commissions on time, so I'm posting early this time.
I've updated my profile page with my current commission queue. Since I still have three ongoing commissions, I will only open two more slots right now but also point you towards my Halloween Egg Adopt Batch that is now also open to things other than monsters c:

I will be updating it slowly with all my OCs so that once everything's done, you can just skedaddle in there and take a peek at all my nerds. I have them all in a google docs document alphabetically and will probably be uploading them in that order. I might plop some of my personal worldbuilding on there too if I'm not too much of a weenie.
Feel free to peek at the few I've already tossed up!

14.09. Life Update

Anyway I turned 23 today. \0/ (thank you everyone for the sweet birthday wishes!)
I'm super pooped, I had a good day. Got cool presents from the family and went to the animal shelter and might finally get a kitty on friday.
I've been planning for so long. The kitty I have chosen for myself is overweight as hell, but has a very sweet character. I'm going to have to help her diet over the next months, which I hope I will be able to endure hahah. (Seriously, she currently weighs 26 pounds - more than twice what she's supposed to. I'll be reading up on how to help her and handle this diet, but advice from cat owners is appreciated!)
My baby cousin will be baptised this weekend even though we only have one family member remaining in church (another cousin, mind you - not anyone from the family of the baby). How weird is that? Why make your baby child enter church if you're not even in church anymore?
I've been working on adopts and commissions and my comic, the first ten pages of which will be done soon (fully coloured!). Excited about that, I'll be linking a teaser :3c
Also RE: Commissions. Is there any specific type peeps might be interested in? Instead of just simple Illustration? Ref Sheets, Comic pages, etc.... let me know if there's anything that comes to mind! nwn
I'm rambling a little we're approaching midnight and I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow morning that I'm anxious about bye
