You know what?
Posted 2 months agoI had this craving that I want to make my own website. Don't know what it will be, but I do know that I want to tell stories, as I mainly associate this website with fetishes/kinks, rather than serious storytelling.
The first half of this year wasn't exactly great, when I was battling with my inner devils, and I still don't know what's going to happen next. At least I found comfort with little known game Desktop Survivors 98, which instantly became one of my favorite games this year. If you know where to look, you can find eye catching games without all of the hyper-realistic visuals that seemingly plague the gaming industry these days. I miss the innocence of 90s, when developers had to be creative with limited hardware, and not chase after photorealism, which is something AAA companies these days only care about, instead of making a game that is FUN TO PLAY (Looking at you, EA, for not doing anything with Burnout series I hold near and dear to my heart).
Yeah, this might be a bit out of the bush, but I don't post art on this site often, and I figured I want to have my own website that I have full control over, instead of being left to the lords of this website or any other social media website how to run it.

Bluesky!

I have opened account over at Bluesky, which I will probably end up using more than this website, because I'm not quite happy with the direction that this website is going, and also... I have been feeling a bit uneasy as of late with certain people being hostile towards the staff in this website.
Do I still use this website? I still do, but there will be some of the stuff that will be exclusive to Bluesky. I know this might upset some of you, but I have my own reason for this.

Dragoneer, thank you for everything...
Posted a year agoTL;DR: 'Neer is gone, but not forgotten, and while this site has seen it's rough bumps while I have been here, I still wanted to pay my respects for him, even if I never saw him in person.
This journal is dedicated to Dragoneer, who has passed away recently, and while it sucks that it happened, I wanted to write this journal, as a little piece of self-reflection, and why I decided to join this fandom in first place.
I don't know how I stumbled across this website, but I hazard to guess it was from DeviantArt, who linked their profile to FA, and then... rest is history, why I'm here. Maybe the idea that I get to see Pokémon characters being fat was too tempting to check this site out, and then, I decided to join here, maybe not so much as an artist, but as a lurker, if you catch my drift.
Is this site perfect? No, of course not. I still remember when part of the fandom revolted against one of the changes they made in regards to underage characters, and that of course led one of the artists which I have a Telegram contact for, leaving this site for good. But no matter what, there will always be hardcore users of this site, that will keep using this, even if these changes ended up doing more harm than good. Call it Enshittification if you want, but regardless of circumstances, there will be people using this site, unfazed from these changes they have made. I even made couple of journals ragging about these changes, but on hindsight, it kinda makes me cringe...
I have contemplated to open up shop on other websites, and while I have a profile on Weasyl, I have not been using that as much as I would have liked, so I haven't bothered to link it on my profile. I originally thought about opening up on Mastodon, but when I heard that the growth has stalled in place, it made me wonder if I can even expand my reach if people are not joining the service (Mastodon stans, I don't want to hear your excuses why the service is superior to Twitter, if people are not migrating to it). And that led me to BlueSky, since their beta period is over, and I could give it a shot, to share my feelings, art that I have commissioned from others, as long as I'll get the permission to do so, and other silly/shitposting stuff, that I would not feel comfortable doing over here.
While I mainly have commissioned art from other clients, I have also dabbled into Blender to create scenes in 3D, but even then that would fall firmly into shitposting tier, so here's this, why I'll be opening up shop on BlueSky, for this reason alone.
Whatever will happen next to FA, now that the 'Neer is gone, at least I hope that maintainers of this website will not start changing things to their own accord, because at the end of the day, you need to listen to demands from users what they want to see (MP4 video playback, for one), and not alienating users for your own gains/goals.

That's it... Twitter just sealed their fate for me...
Posted 2 years agoThis might be a spicy journal to write, but I have noticed that Twitter restricted access to see the tweets to registered users only, leaving those who don't have an account completely in the dark.
And you know what? This is the straw that broke the camel's back for me. From this point onward, I REFUSE to join Twitter, because I cannot rely on registered users alone to see my tweets, as up to this point, even unregistered users could see what is happening. AI companies stealing their data?! What BS are they talking about?! I know that AI tools have been developing in such a breakneck speed that most of the industry has been caught off-guard, but that alone should not be used as an excuse to restrict access to those who have registered. Another "lovely" thing they added is the daily limit how many tweets people can read, which goes up to 8000 tweets, again reinforcing my stance that it's really bad for me to join the website at this current climate, if this is how it goes...
Cohost seems to be the best place for me to go right now, and while I know that Twitter has a better reach, but it's not designed to be an art gallery. You can argue that Cohost is also not designed as an art gallery either, but at the very least in Cohost, people can see what I do, regardless if they are registered or not. That alone is the main reason why joining the Twitter is a bad idea for me, if I want to grow my audience.
I also noticed that Nitter, which is another way to see the tweets, has been hit by this change as well. Wonderful... just wonderful...
TL;DR: Since Twitter made a major change how people can see the tweets, I refuse to join it, and I'm probably considering joining Cohost instead.

So... people are upset about pregnancy stuff?
Posted 2 years agoI don't know if I'm about to lose followers or get backlash over this journal entry, but now they have clarified what their UP 2.7 is about, this has sort of raised more questions if people are just overreacting, or if I'm out of touch what is happening around here.
Why this rule had to cause so much stir in the first place is beyond me, and while I get it that teenage pregnancy is a problem in a real world, I'm only going to assume that they dared to include Pokémon and Digimon in the rule, just to piss people off??
Also, this comes across feeling judgmental to me, knowing people have no qualms posting images with bare buttocks with General rating on, or Vore stuff with sexual connotation attached to it, but I still feel like this situation would have been handled A LOT BETTER than this, though...
This still does not change the fact that I have plans to open Mega account just to post random crap in there that I don't feel like sharing in here, but now more than ever, I feel like I might pull the trigger sooner rather than later.

I might... just MIGHT leave this website for good
Posted 2 years agoUpdate in regards to their user policy; Okay, fair enough, FA, but I still don't trust you that you don't start removing my stuff out from nowhere, just because Monsoon the Larvitar is involved in some random shenanigans. My original post is underneath detailing why I'm looking into alternatives, just because I have lost faith after what happened, when they announced the update to their guidelines.
This is not the usual one to start with, but ever since they updated the guidelines in regards to underage characters, it made me feel uneasy what I want to post here anymore. I thought this was my safe haven for my kinky stuff, since I don't want to contaminate my YouTube channel (Yes, I have my own personal YT channel for normal videos), or go to the DeviantArt just how crappy that website has become throughout the years.
Monsoon the Larvitar is a kid, and he is going to stay that way. I don't want to turn him into an adult just to adhere to the guidelines, and because of that, I had to start to look into other options where I want to post my art.
Twitter would be my absolute LAST RESORT if I'm honest here, and despite my argument with one artist falling flat on my face about how people stick to the Twitter, despite the backlash it got when new owner stepped in, I still think that the new owner, who is not going to be named here, has turned Twitter into a shitshow. Who even asked for video calls on a website, where people post angry tweets towards a person or a corporation over something that provokes outrage?!
Itaku would be my another option, but since I would have to ask permissions from other artists if I upload art there, I think it would be too much of a burden to consider posting art there, based on that rule alone.
That would leave me making my own website, and there are a LOT of options out there when it comes to that. As much as I don't want to trust them that they don't delete my website on a moments notice, I might make it a landing page to the Mega account, where people can browse for the art I have posted. It's just I need to title them in such a way that the artist gets properly credited, of course.
Phew, that was frankly a lot to write here, but yeah, in case you need TL;DR; I don't trust this website anymore, and I want to jump ship ASAP.

2022, here we come...
Posted 3 years agoI figured I'm going to write this journal, and what my plans are for this year.
After the success of "Ivan Getting Stuffed", which somehow managed to accumulate 50 favs (Like seriously, I did not expect something like that!), it somehow gave me a bit of a boost to think about what commissioned art I'll be publishing next, now that I know what people want to see from me.
That's not to say that's my only plan this year, but in regards to my personal New Year's Resolution, I'm going to try to lose weight, for real (And please don't get mad at me, as this is my personal goal I'm striving to achieve). Living like a overweight person is NO FUN, as I learned the hard way when I checked my weight, and I want to get at least fit before summer begins, so while that is going to be hard, but I must try, knowing that my 30th birthday is approaching.
I'm also going to put this little tag [NMA] next to any art I have in my account, because I'm not really an artist, I just want to commission art from other artists to see what they can come up with my characters, but also want to let people know that I commissioned art from other artists.
I could have written this on 1st January, but oh well... it is what it is. I hope that you have a good day, and let's stay safe out there.

20 Faves on "Ivan Getting Stuffed"?! Holy cow...
Posted 4 years agoI didn't expect that image which is related to audio commission over at
devonthefirewolf would blow up, and I don't know what to say, but thanks to those who have been faving it, even if I don't go after those and post "Thanks for fav!", or something like that.
