Posted 4 years agoFirst of all, I wand to say thank you to the winners of my last YCH offer.
It took me way to long between the offer and the finished image for my own liking. Even if I warned in the offer, that the wait would be long and previous descriptions talked about similar time scales, it still took me about three times as long as I intended to, and I’m sorry about that.
But I’m very satisfied with the resulting image and I hope everyone else is too. I really don’t like the 80% rule and much rather work to get as close to the 100% as I can to get the most satisfying result I can muster, even if I have sacrifice time for it. Either good or nothing.
In other news: The comic is still keeping me busy.
The comic is a little passion project of mine and it demands way more time than I’m willing to admit.
I am cutting a lot of corners with the designs to keep the 2 weeks upload going. And I suspect the story is a bit too bare bones? It has never been very much to tell in it, but it is more about proving a point than telling a complicated story anyway.
I suspect that I might have dropped the ball in pages 7 through 10. And I should have made it a little more clear, that the timeline has been split in them somehow? Confusion these pages create is mostly on me, but I can’t think of a way to do better on my end.
In any case I hope the final stretch will find its fans.
Although the comic has never been meant to be NSFW to begin with, it is subjecting me to creating a lot of SFW work at the moment. And it proves to be tiresome on me. I crave more lewd and it begins to show.
I will open up for future spots for people to appear in my art eventually, but that will take some time for me to get things done first.
I aim to have an upload for the 10. August that should be aura day and a birthday upload for Kyani on 20. August.
After that I intent on doing a guide of sorts on how I do aura on Lucarios in general and what Kyani’s aura can and cannot do in particular.
Lastly: For the better part of a decade now I’ve been pretty much by myself now and finally feel like company again. I just don’t know where to start. If anyone knows a Discord server, I’d be welcome on, feel free to share a link with me.

But having both slots filled in the first few hours totally blew my mind. Thank you guys. You're awesome.

Slot 2, the under desk assistant, will be for dannythebluefox (done)
I'll give darell-sama a seat at a table in he background. (done)

Please keep in mind: I'm not a fast artist, but I'll do my best to make it look as best as I can.

Picture slots?
Posted 5 years agoLast journal I said that I would be working on more full render images, while I am also working on a larger comic project.
My question is now: Would you be interested if I make certain spots of those images free for grabs?
As with the last YCH I would be uploading the sketch detailing wich positions would be available.
Participation will be free, though the wait will be quite a stretch cause the full detailed images take a long while to make.

Posted 5 years agoYou know? Sometimes you have to put your opinions and beliefs out there and put them to a test.
That's what I did when I posted the "comics in a nutshell" comic. How right or how wrong
have I been with my assumptions and my feelings about Lucario content or would anyone
tear into me for being into the "wrong kind of Lucario“ as I thought I would have been.
As stupid as my expectations may sound to you that’s what I felt like would happen and it
feels stupid to me too today. But I am happy I made the comic and I am happy I released
it, ‘cause I have been shown that indeed I have been wrong and that's something good. I
needed that support, it makes me happy. You have shown to me that there is an audience
for the content I have planned to make and the comics I'm writing.
And yes, the results of the conversations I had on the comic settle in only now.
Apart from the sappy stuff there is another 2-frame-comic coming on Wednesday, the last
one actually. After that I will spend my time working on my first comic of a larger scale. It’ll
settle at about 20 pages. Don't expect any kind of result of that until late autumn at best.
But I will try to have a full render out every once in a while, to give you some lewd Lucarios
in the meantime. I'd feel like leaving you hanging if I'd not.

Happy new year
Posted 6 years ago2019 has been quite the awesome year for me.
I may not have been putting out nearly as much as bigger artists, but I have had an art output to talk about at all. And I even posted it for you to see so that’s totally a plus in my books. Considering I have toyed around with arts and drawing digitally since 2010, I’m happy 2019 had so many good memories in store for me.
A very big thankyou to you, who started following my crafts in the past month you encourage me and give me a reason to press on. Thankyou.
On the upcoming year I have a 5 picture series in the works including a short story featuring another Lucario here on FA you might know. If only I wouldn’t be so dang slow, that wouldn’t have taken me almost a year by now.
Ok, I had bad Infection in summer that was quite hindering, and constant panic attacks, that cost me a couple of days every time I’m close to finishing an image. So, I was out to some silly illness, doing images to post here on FA or paralysed by panic attacks finishing pictures. (I’ll have to work on my mental health. xD)
After I’m done with said picture series, I’d like to do something as a “celebration”-ish thingy for my first 10 watchers to show off my gratitude. I’ll post something more specific when I’m closer to be able to plan that one with you.
After that I want to show off more about Kyani, the Lucario you keep seeing in my pictures. And what better way to do that, than to make a comic, that updates probably every millennium once. xD
I wish every one of you a Happy new year, and may those upcoming 12 month disappoint you less, than I will likely do. :p
