I have a plan...
Posted 7 years agoI've been thinking quite a bit about drawing lately. Always wanted to give it a shot but I just seemed to lack the time and motivation to actually get stuck in or improve. Well, I've decided that I'm gonna go at it with gusto and see if I can improve over the next month and a half before 2019 comes around, crashing through my front door.
The current plan is to attempt more drawing, both on paper and using my little Intuos Pro, every Saturday, Monday*, and Friday. Gonna start with some basic anatomy and work my way up from there. I'll try to upload some of the best examples here on FA. Constructive criticism would be appreciated if you have the time for it. ^w^
If any of my watchers reads this, I would appreciate some advice. I know practice makes perfect, but I'd like to know a bit more than that if any of you have got the time. How does one 'git gud' at line art? Any art books you can recommend? Does how you articulate your pen/pencil matter (wrist, elbow and shoulder etc.) when using a tablet matter when you have a zoom function? Are there better examples of drawing tablets that I should use? Can you give recommendations? Is there any digital art wizardry in SAI that I'm just not aware of? I dunno.
I also want to thank all the people who have inspired me and supported me, both on this site and elsewhere. You really helped out a lot! ;w;
