Essentially someone posted a thing about songs which were women empowering but one of the songs was called "All men are pigs" and I said that empowerment shouldnt come from pushing someone down and that its not ok to be sexist to men just because some men are sexist. That fighting for equality means not putting ANYBODY down because of their sex. Be it male, female or anywhere in between and that I wont accept sexism from anyone. Im being told Im sexist because men are sexist to women and men havent gone through years of sexual oppression...I completly agree that men havent gone through all that...but it doesnt make sexism ok.
If a black person was saying that all white people were sickening then it wouldnt be ok just because there was slavery.
Sexual degradation is wrong wherever it comes from.

This has lead to me being considered sexist towards women because Im oppressing them and policing what they say by saying its wrong to put down men.

As the title may imply, I have an extra sanctum 2 and torchlight 2 which Im looking to sell for £10 for torchlight 2 and £7 for sanctum 2. All I want is one fucking birthday to be normal. Im not asking for fireworks and rainbows and money-shitting unicorns. I just want it to be normal. I want a party hat, I want poppers and I want a cake. I dont want to spend it with my friend and his girlfriend to have breakdowns and run off in the middle of MY NIGHT OUT on one of my only days off from my high stress job and have to hunt them both down for about 2 hours in below zero cold. On top of all this, my birthday was yesterday but I had to work through it and have my boss be in the shittiest mood and rip me apart and down my staff and belittle me infront of them. I woke up, went to work, came home and slept...that was my birthday and to make up for it, I was going to have it today...but no... Last year it was my granddad telling me he didnt love me, the year before that, I broke my foot and the year before that, I was in hospital with a mysterious illness...Whats going to be thrown at me next year?

I just want to have one day...just one day a year when I can be selfish and obnoxious in my otherwise caring and giving life and have everybody around me, cheering for me and smiling and making me feel happy...I gave a homeless guy my dinner tonight because it was cold and he needed it more than me so I suppose some good came from today...

So its my birthday in a week exactly and I came to realise when everybody was getting hyped up and excited by it that its never really been a thing for me. I never really celebrated my birthday. For me its always been a time for everybody to get together to listen to my grandparents point out how much I have sucked during the year.
This has been the first time I have ever been sort of happy for my birthday since now I have the ones I love to share it with...although its bittersweet when they cant be there with you in person. Sure its hard but if anything its giving me more drive to make sure the next one isnt like that. Next one, I plan for there to be party streamers and balloons and the like. I have never had a party like that before and I have never understood it. Birthdays have always felt like just a random reason to get something I need.
Maybe next year, I will see what all the fuss is about?

After recently purchasing a commission from skidd (watch him and love him) I have been craving more and Im officially thinking we should get as many people as possible and pull all our monies together and have a massive commission of everyone. Ok I reached a pretty damn low point in my life and nearly did the worst thing I could possibly do....BUT from the ashes of disaster grow the roses of success.
I have had a seriously long chat and I am finally beggining work on my life.

SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) and PIPA (Potential Inelectual Property Act) are acts which not only prohibit the use of any copywrited content in any form but also make it a criminal offence...thats right...JAIL TIME.
If these acts come through then if a site (even one with public content) shows any copywrited meterial then it can be shut down...Youtube, newgrounds, endless webcomics and even FA can all be shut down potentially and the internet can become another hollow and pointless media outlet instead of the freelands where people can flourish and develop ideas with anyone around the globe and therefore better us all.

I initially learnt about this from my games interests. Games are a large part of my life. Theyre my free time, theyre my job and theyre something I can share with those I love. They can spark intellectual debates aswell as create hilariously silly moments. Theyre still budding and finding themselves and if this bill comes through then you will not be allowed to discuss them or show pictures of them or review them or anything in the slightest.
E3...the main place for games and the interest thereof is held by the ESA (entertainment software association).
This group are essentially representitive of all games and gamers alike....THEY ARE BACKING THIS ACT...

Any interest you have at all WILL be altered by these acts. It sounds like a dramatisation but think about the grandness of the internet. I bet you for a fact that everything you know and love, be it films, games, books, comics, cartoons, shows, music or whatever...You will never be able to share that with others without having to go through very strict guidelines.

For those who are for it I can only think of one reason "Its good to finally stop all the pirating and stealing whcih happens online". If you think that then I assure you youre wrong. Pirated and leaked content and even simple reviews on something increases interest in the subject by a vast amout. Think of all the games you only bought because you saw a cool video of it online or wasnt goign to get it until you read a review on it. A lot of companies leak on purpose in order to spark an interest for free and it spread faster than just giving out info.
If youre now thinking "But there have been games which I havent bought because the review/video said it was bad" then that is a GOOD THING. There is virtually no grand feedback nor one more blatent and potent than the total sales margin so by you not buying a bad product, they know they need to make somethign better in order to sell. Without negative feedback then the industries wont better themselves. On the flipside though, if you torrent a game and like it then PLEASE pay for it. Companies need to know when theyre doing something right.

All in all, no matter what your opinion is or what your reason for it is, THIS ACT WILL DO NO GOOD BUT ONLY HARM. The beauty of the internet is that it is a free world to roam and grow and with all the good you have to accept the bad. To have the freedom to grow, you need the freedom to fail.
