a long term project i took is very nearly done, so much so that i feel comfortable trying commishions again.

so tomorrow i will be opening for a variety of slots, after i put up my new commishion sheet. prices have been adjusted a bit lower for a variety of things, but higher for comics. i want to try and make this art thing something i can be financially viable, so im gonna start slow.

in what to expect, there will be slots for discounted wing-its, 2-3 slots totally open, which will have discounts based on themes(take for example, sissy work might get a discount when open, and next time it'll be something else)

i honestly didnt expect so many!you guys are so generous ;A: <3 im floored! so im working on finishing those up, all done by tomorrow! then ill finish my patron stuff, and focus on the comics i was commishioned and th epatreon ones. ill explain why im slower then nomral atm:

first thing, i have classes again, im going back to college, and im going to go all the way trying ot become an artist. i have been gathering reference and im going to go back to basics on anatomy, and try and get a more solid foundation, then move to colors. i have been doing studies where i have had time and have noticed small improvements so if i catch up and can devote solid, consistent time(like im trying to schedule) who knows how good ill get how fast!

this week im going to try and focus on paws , hands and different feet grades, as well as a style shift tfor alternative work, work thats more cutesy and such. a sort of chibi but not totally chibi style!

i dont comment on politics. i avoid it, since its divisive, and im no expert, but ill tell you this as fact.for those, advocating "burning down dc" as i have seen some familiar faces say,you are the facists, you are not freedom fighters or egalitarians. expect no sympathy from me as you advocate others rights taken while advocating for your own. discrimination for anyone is discrimination for everyone eventually. you want to fight the democratic will of the people because you didnt get what you want. remember when hillary said trump threatened democracy since he wouldnt sign his name to accepting the results?those of you who said shes right?only to have her do exactly that?should make you think.

dont like trump?you dont have to. but to say the shit the liberal regressive left has been...the violence, i say to you, read history...youll see the same people when things get bad...

i have been very quiet i know for a bit, not uploading as much. to give a heads up, im lost, doing some soul searching on what i want out o fart. am i happy with what i do? no, never have been. i want to improve, be a contender, be a name of sorts, earn my keep and the benefits of being exceptional. art is what i love, but im mediocre, and i am tired. so, im going to keep working on my comics but as i plan future ones, im going to change my approach. same with art, but there will be a slowdown on that. i want to practice and improve, do color studies, learn to texture balance color and style, and just become a better artist.

i see so many artists on fa part of the in groups, helping each other succeed and promote each other, and the only way to survive doing this, im starting to think, is to be good enough(most important) and get noticed. now, im not in it to be part of a cool kids club, that shit is supposed to go out of style in highschool(though i never cared for it then either, ive always been a loner), i dont care about a persons standing but the only way i will be taken seriously by people i theorize is if im taken serious by others they take seriously(and maybe i can make some friends along the way with other artists i can learn from too). maybe im overthinking, many people tell me i do alot, but i want to make something out of my art. i want it to be a thing that i can share with my fans and my fans share their thoughts with me and enjoy it, take it seriously and get something out of it, whether it be purely kink or deeper, like inspiration

what do you guys think? am i overthinking? irregardless, im going to be focusing more on improvement this year and taking art seriously finally.my thoughts are scatterbrained on this, so it may not be written as i think or want to say something as an fyi

im updating my prices, i feel right now they are a bit too...high? comics will stay roughly the same, since they are alot fo work, but flats, and full detail will be dropping, around 5- 10 dollars or somewhere in between, what do you guys think?

an issue on fa that has proliferated terribly, is the inability to criticize artists. it has become a safe space and a hugbox for artists to keep an artistic state unevolving and to any artist that must be unacceptable. if you see ways i can improve my art, or have thoughts, please, note me, comment, etc, whatever you feel more comfortable with. it doesnt jsut benefit me, it benefits you, with me providing better content.

keep in mind, this is constructive, its a dialgogue. if you say"it looks off" without any explanation, that is nebulas and not criticism. "it looks off because x limb is too long, y limb too short"that is good, since now i know"oh, i messed up here" make sure you have an idea at least where the error is, for my sanity if you do offer criticism(which i very much want)

just a thought i have been having. i have grown disgusted with the safespace where criticism is not allowed, it isnt okay, and even a bit harsh criticism is better then being trapped in a state of permanence. we all should strive to bring each other up as artists and viewers as a communtiy but all it has done is creative a bunch of hugboxes where well intentioned people are left to bite their tongue and become bitter instead of helping everyone move forward in some cases i believe, where only blind praise is accepted, and everything else is "trolling".

just my two cents, but i do want and encourage, if you think i could have done alot better( which in all cases is usually true) tell me and give me an idea where i fell short and i will always work on it.

EDIT: another thing i wanna say is show love to commishioners equally, because without their money the artists wouldnt exist, some fo the art we enjoy the most wouldnt exist. they are just as responsible as the artist for much of the art we enjoy!i think sometimes people forget, the artist wouldnt have been able to make some pieces without the commishioners payment

but to be honest, i think this is a good turnout. trump may not be a bright person, or particularly nice, but his election is a sign from the people. we are sick of the status quo, the elites, the arrogant holier then thou elites who think us stupid plebians will just keep taking the abuse. america elected bernie, hillary cheated, so she lost. thats how i was raised, you cheat, your taken off the board. so im happy with the turnout. no matter what trump does or elects, next time i think the dnc will learn to play fucking fair, and not try and push democracy their way and let the people vote.

democracy has spoken, despite everything hlllary tried. and no, it wasnt the"racist white man" i have seen so many un-ironically racist bigots point out on twitter. the level of hatred i have see from millenials makes me sick, and i wont soon forget it, or lose the shame of how my countrymen have behaved, on either side. racism, name calling, the way politics have turned everyone attacking and shaming those who voted against how you want.. trying to shame them for using their vote, shameful..., democracy isnt a contest like a sports game, and for those putting out the racist sexist claim to every voter against them on the democratic side....shame on you.(im not republican but i would be ashamed to call myself a democrat right now if i was one of those either)

im hyper insecure. really obvious, im sure, but i am, and it can be a massive bitch sometimes. it makes you act stupidly to people who are your freinds, avoid them, thinking they hate you in secret, or lash out when perception turns you bitter, no matter how incorrect. when i browse this sight, i become insanely insecure, so i dont. when i browse uploads, i also dont, when i see other artists do fanarts and be friendly, i automatically turn it in my head into"well, they are both so mcuh better then me, or they would have done the same for me" or" everything i make is so bad noone would want to". this is of course, stupid. you cant make everything about you, and when your insanely insecure i believe in a sense, there is a l evel of ego centrism to it. like you SHOULD be that person, you SHOULD be the center of attention. the silly popularity game played i think does, for some, create that mentality of using attention and views and view as some kind of self-affirmation of your self worth, and its silly. i know ti has for me, and im trying to stop

in short. i love drawing. and it has become a numbers game. if i dont get as many faves as others, it pierces my heart, because i have turned it into a competition with myself to get what i think i should and if i dont, i cut myself down and turn bitter. if anyone else deals with this, it isnt worth it. it will make you hate what you love.



i dunno, i have been thinking about this from last night. i want to be an artist that gets alot of faves, views comments, i want to be a better artist, but i think the need for that attention and the need to improve can be detrimental of priority is on the attention. drawing purely for views i dont think si helpful and it has defined me as an artist.
