Selling some characters
Posted 9 years agoKind of looking to save up for some stuff, also looking to just free some clutter when it comes to my roster of characters. These peeps just don't really fit in with what I have planned for anything really and in all truth I can't think of anything to do with em. Nothing wrong with them at all I just...well don't remember what really got me to get them in the first place.
These haven't been posted anywhere really so you're free to do as you wish with them, chance names and all that good stuff.
Snake Girl Chloe (20$): http://imgur.com/sK8yfGe & http://imgur.com/a0IRW0Y
Sheep Lady (40$): http://imgur.com/YV8Lpfm
Ghost Ga: gone.
If you want em, let me know and what not.

Posted 9 years agoI feel like I make these too often lol.
Sup guys? I've beena way for a reeeeally long time and that's sort of because I've moved into a new way or producing content that doesn't exactly work with the way that FA operates. I've been running a blog on tumblr, I know it already sounds bad but things are actually very civil over there and I be posting a link to that towards the end of this. Where I've been doing a lot of posting, uploading and just general content things while working on some longer story arcs and other stuff. Currently speaking I've gotten back into vore school stuff and I've been trying to make some magic happen. The issue with that is work has been getting in the way and with 8 hour days of moving around and being active I kind of come home and crash as soon as I put my body on something soft so there's that. Also I'm going to be moving away from skype unless that's the only way you have of contacting me. I've been struggling with that service way to hard lately and if you've tried to contact me for any reason at all and I haven't gotten it, it's because skype hates me on a 70/30 basis and we're really not seeing eye to eye. So I'm gonna be using discord from now until something better comes along? I dunno but I'll also put that information down the below. That being said I'm not leaving FA or anything, I've been meaning to post and upload tons of stuff but end up not too because FA's uploading system is clunky and one by one pieces, IMO, can get really clunky at times and what not. That being said I've got a lot of stuff just freaking stockpiled up to the ceiling and I'll start throwing those out soon enough.
Moving on I've got some characters I really just have no use for or, quite frankly, have forgotten why I even acquired them in the first place? But those will be all up for sale and you guys can sort of have at them when you want. I'll put up a journal afterwords and what not to let you guys take a gander. Some other stuff is just simply...how are you guys? I feel like I haven't talked to anyone or that I don't talk to folks as much as I used too. I also don't have nearly as many creative partners or just people to bounce ideas back and forth with occasionally when I get the feel for an idea. There's also some other stuff that I've been meaning to do, get into trading more, doing collabs and stuff and what not. I really wanna work on something fun and creative so if you know anyone or wanna do that yourself then hit me up I guess but I really just wanted to touch base because I have the worst habit of just zipping in and out for months at a time.

Sudden Hiatus [Resolved]
Posted 9 years agoSorry for like suddenly going poofs on certain folks. I sort of lost the mojo mid stride and writing was a bit of a chore VS being an actually exciting and fun process for me like it should be! That being said I think we're back in business. Things might be slow but I don't feel like a shmuck every time I try to write porn and then just trash all of the things because I'm severely unhappy with what I've produced! So sorry for the lack of conversation on my part, I really just needed to settle down and get the writing ability back in my skill tree.
A how to: Commenting on "alternative" fetish works.
Posted 9 years agoHowdy! Do you happen to browse porn on FA and stumble upon a kink or fetish that you either haven't been exposed to yet or have seen small doses of and now someone you follow is posting it? Not really sure how to respond if you should feel the need to say something? Well don't worry friends do I have a guide for you that'll make you a wizz at commenting and help you get to know a fetish or even a content provider better without stepping on some toes! The most obvious rule of this is follows, if you like something say something positive and if you don't like it and are only looking to be an absolute prick about it DON'T SAY ANYTHING AT ALL...you know unless it's constructive criticism that could actually benefit the creator of the piece.
Step one: Did you like the piece? Yes? Ok!
This is usually the first step into commenting, whether or not you enjoyed the piece. Not there are many ways to express your joys should it bring you some but let's not do the whole, "Omg I just jerked off 12 times to this picture alone" sort of thing unless the content provider and their general audience is ok with? Cause if they aren't that's gonna land you in some hot water. But generally speaking just leaving a positive comment reflecting on the piece of how well the fetish is captured in itself is a good thing! Favorites are well and good and so are watches but getting an actual comment from a viewer makes the content provider feel welcomed by their audience and allows them to continue providing stuff for a group of people that so eagerly await their work. So an, "I love this piece" or "Your line work is amazing here" is a good way to start but comment on the characters themselves, take interest in the whole thing and get specific! Just not...creepy specific...
Step two: Did you like the piece? No? Ok!
If you didn't like the piece and have nothing constructive to say? Just don't. You will either get blocked by the creator or their fans who do enjoy the work will taunt, tease and vilify you feel the need to remove yourself from the conversation. Following this you should never just rag on someone's fetish if you don't understand it. Does this mean you can't sit back and question, "why would anyone be into this?" no. But you also just can't slam someone for what get's their dick up...unless it's something highly immoral and illegal and involves actual real life people and can harm innocent bystanders...then you might wanna get some reports going. Comments like, "Why are you into this?" or "I never really understand this fetish" or "This makes me cringe" sort of thing is unnecessary. That's like someone coming up to you and going, "You look ugly in that shirt" and walking away. You didn't need that, you didn't ask for that but someone just wanted to make you feel bad because of what you enjoy wearing. In short it's a pretty shitty thing to do! But even more so it can really hurt a content providers motivation to produce content that they like when one of the few comments they get is unnecessary hate or antagonizing statements.
Step three: Don't understand the fetish? Ok!
It's ok if you get a boner from something and don't know why, unless if for reasons expressed up above in the first point but it's also ok to just not understand why something is hot or not. Fetishes are strange and have no real basis to be discussed about on a philosophical level. I mean we're all pretending to be animals interacting with each other that don't follow that natural food chain of the world and have human anatomy so really why are we so worried about what would happen if we were in that place? We could never be in that place to begin with. "They'd die from blood loss if their dick was that big" or "their spine would snap from having boobs that big". We get it, we get that you don't understand the whole purpose of the hyper fetish and this and that but really who are you commenting for? Sure you have a right to express your opinion but chances are you're not going to convince someone who's entire gallery is full of furs getting rammed by impossibly large dicks in their donut buttholes not to be interested in that stuff. It's hot! To them!
Sure their are some fetishes that seem to be way to sinister to not make a person seem like their absolutely monstrous or morbid or psychotic...but it's all fantasy. None of this high octane stuff you see here, hyperism, vore, transformation, absorption, can be replicated in the outside world. Even if we have thoughts of it, it can only truly exist in fantasy and we have no intention of taking it anywhere but. It's free here, we can do as we please and enjoy it so why try and ruin that? Now if you actually want to have an open forum to deconstruct a fetish then by all means go ahead and ask the writer, the artist, the flash animator what it's all about and they'll try and tell you as best they can as to why they like it. But ultimately you just have to be into in order to "get it" and if you're not comfortable with it, chances are you'll never really get it even if someone wrote a whole volume of books explaining why it's incredible.

KH2.8 HD Remix: The hype continues
Posted 10 years agoI'm sure a lot of you have heard about Square Releasing another HD Remix for their Kingdom Hearts franchise and I know a lot of people have the same sort of reaction that most people do whenever they hear anything about Kingdom Hearts. "MAN SCREW THIS FRANCHISE! IT'S SO CONVOLUTED AND STUPID AND SPREAD OUT AND I LOVED 1 AND 2 BUT SCREW EVERYTHING ELSE CAUSE WHO GIVES A HOT DAMN." Which if you're a fan like I am just sort of sounds like a lot of whining for the sake of whining, especially if you know about the other "Remix" titles that came out recently. If anyone should be complaining it's really the people who went out, bought the original games and struggled playing on multiple platforms just to finish the story that's been released so far. And this isn't bragging rights either, that was probably the worst thing about this game other than trying too fucking not get destroyed by Sephiroth on Proud Mode. It was annoying, frustrating and at times you really did want to give up if you weren't good with certain button configurations and what not.
But a lot of people don't really understand what these Remix titles are. For one thing you've basically just saved a shit ton of money not having to buy all three games that come on the disk. 1.5 and 2.5 provide you with three fleshed out games, some that were incredibly important to the plot but others that filled in the cracks. There was new animation, cutscenes and even information in these re-released titles that people who played the original game didn't get to have when they busted their asses on it. And this next title 2.8 isn't just some re-release circle-jerk to hold fans over, it's to make sure that you are completely caught up on what's about to happen in the next big title and it also means that while there is no release date KH3 is actually on it's way and will be released sometime late next year (hopeful) but again this gets people ready for the big fucking finale and prevents anyone from going, "What the duce?" The thing I'm mainly talking about is 0.2 Birth By Sleep which will tie up all the loose ends if you've beaten the game to 100%. Lots of big questions go unanswered and they mainly revolve around Aqua and now we get to see what's actually happened to her since 10 years have passed.
Do I wish we could have three just be this massive fucking thing? Of course I do. Do I want it now? Hell fucking yes, more than anything in the world! But it's not as bad as people make it seem. A bunch of games have overarching storylines that go back and forth between worlds and stuff. FOR GOD SAKES LOOK AT THE LEGEND OF ZELDA but of course people aren't going to say anything about that because they've been on one console and the story isn't a "cohesive" one. But that's what makes KH so fun and honestly so revered as the franchise that's really stood the test of time. It's like the movie "Memento" things happened out of order, you slowly went back in time and forward in time to piece the clues together. You don't know what's happening or why and questions pop up but slowly you start to see the connecting lines and by the time you reach the end you're just screaming with joy because it all makes sense and you ready to the protag to just drop that bomb you've been waiting for since the beginning and it's just an amazing wrap up.
So if you haven't played any of the games past 1 and 2 then I'd advise you pick up those Remix titles if you have the chance and actually sit down and play all of the games not just the ones you loved because if you're not willing to give those games a chance then you're not really committing to the story. Why? Because those games are still fully fleshed out games not this DLC crap some people think they are.

Commission FAQ (yes I am open also updated)
Posted 10 years agoQ: How much do you charge?
I charge 10 dollars for every 1000 words written, I do not however charge for every hundred words meaning that if your commission ends up being 3500 words you would only be paying for 3000 words. I do this mainly because there are certain scenes that may require dialogue and extra wording. It's relatively difficult to stay within a certain margin of words without going a few hundred or so over so I give myself a little wiggle room by doing this.
Q: How should I pitch my commission to you?
Characters(s): Visual Refs work the best to give me a mental image to play with. Note that the more characters that are thrown into a story the longer it's going to be. Dialogue and interactions aren't as short as you might think they are.
Setting/Theme/Plot: These should be relatively simple and should easy to follow. The more complex and intricate things are the harder it is for me to write it. Not to mention it will be that much a longer story as all the plot points and details requested have to come together in some cohesive package.
Kinks/Fetishes: These too should be states cut and clean as so that I know what I'm doing when you ask for it. No need to get murry purry just compile a list of what you want to be in the story and not just what you like. You can also put this in the Theme section of your pitch and have it listed with who's doing what in the story and to whom.
Q: Do you do WIPs?
Yes I do and that's usually once I'm half way done and then about to finish your commission. This way if you have anything you'd like to add or change to the story you can tell me unless you're giving me complete free reign to do as a so please.
NOTE! I do not do more than three changes so make sure you're very clear with what you want. If you continue to throw more and more information at me I will cancel your commission due to it just being too much work and not enough profit. I'm not charging by the hour so going back and redoing and entire set of pages sets me back and there's no money gained from that so please try and keep your changes to a minimum unless something is crucially incorrect.
Q: How long do these usually take?
You're looking at about Same Day to a Week depending on variable factors. Time, work and everything else. I'm usually trying to be as fast as possible with these, not rushing mind you but at the max you should be looking at two weeks unless something has gone array and I've hit a serious block with my writing.
Q: How is length determined?
The amount of characters and the plot really determine how long things are gonna be. If you just want a simple masturbation scene that shouldn't be more than 1000 words. However if your plot has multiple scenes where characters are thrown into different interactions all the time then it can get a little lengthy. At that point I'll throw out a number and we'll talk more on it later. You can opt out to pay for the story when all is said and done and not have a ball park number for me to hit around but that can get sort of pricey and I'd like to avoid any awkward situations.
Q: Do you have any hardcore no's?
Gore and hardcore violence are strictly off my list for anything smut related. Hyper muscle is also something I can't do well for the life of me as well as incredibly immobile individuals, a.k.a super blob fat furs. Other than that feel free to run things by me and we'll talk them through.

Ideas for later, Birfday, ect. Oh, and how are you guys?
Posted 10 years agoSo that FAQ I made was sort of about how I felt in terms of my own writing and how I feel about my presence in the community as a whole and what not and I'm still trying to figure out ways in which to increase my interactions with you guys as well as grow as a content creator and offer more to those who really do what it. Of course this means finishing some of the dozens of WIP that literally sit in Google Docs Limbo but also trying to do fan style events and other things of that nature. I don't really know as I'm just rambling off the top of my head but there are some questions I really do what you guys to answer so I can know how you feel about certain topics and concepts.
• Character profiles:Journals or submissions? I come up with characters or my stories fairly often and there just happens to be a lot of information that comes along with them. What I'm asking you guys is how would you prefer to get a hold of this info?
Submission:Would you prefer that when I introduce a character that I post a picture and have their information underneath in the description? Or would you prefer that I write something up and make a PDF file of it that I could then link after a little blurb of text down below for you guys to read up on?
Journals:There could just be one big journal that has all of my characters listed on it, or I could make it sort of a weekly thing where each new character get's their own little time in the sun and you can ask them questions and i would respond appropriately, in or out of character.
• Collabs/trades?: This is sort of one of those networking things that I myself am not totally used to or have any information on. Usually collabs/trades involve both parties of the same art medium and I've really wanted to write for a comic or a series of pictures and what not for some of the artist that follow me and some who's art I truly enjoy. Does anyone have any experience as to how things of that nature have gone down? Any inside knowledge or maybe even some offers to collab and what not. I'm open to ideas?
• Character Blog: Ask blogs have always seemed to be a fun thing in my opinion, the only thing is that there wouldn't be a ton of art and stuff for when people do send asks and I know that sort of takes the magic away from it and all. I was wondering if that would actually be something interesting to you guys. It would be mainly text based saved for some pictures that I've commissioned in the past and what not. Point is there would be smaller bits of content and more silly slice of life stuff that I wouldn't put in a story because it seemed too much or wasn't proper filler.
Birfday is coming up in about a week or so, I'm gonna try and get some content out this week because I'm free and all and I'd actually like to try and do something productive before I go out on and get all silly and what not only to wake upand find out that my butt has grown three sizes since the previous night.
No but seriously how are you guys? I feel like I don't reach out to you all enough and that makes me a little sad, so let's chat a bit before I gotta go do more adult nonsense.

Marin Answers FAQ
Posted 10 years agoSometimes I get questions on being a writer and writer in general and their usually the sames ones so I thought I might do a few to give fans an insight on what it's like to do what I do and that not. Just a quick note this isn't the same for everyone and experiences may vary.
Q:How long have you been writing (smut an otherwise)?
A: I started writing when I was about 11 or so? Lots of stupid kid stuff that was based on cartoons and anime because I was incredibly into that stuff and it's where I drew my inspiration from. Needless to say I was pretty bad at it for a long time and I even did rping on gaiaonline and other sites like that and again it was still really, really bad. Like I cringe over the stuff I thought was good. I started writing smut when I was around 16 and that was still when I was in the role playing game which was still really, really...er...bad but I still kept at it, it started with fanfics and then I got into the furry fandom and well...here I am now? There really isn't much of a progression or a moment where I just found my pen and went, "I have found my craft!" It was just a thing that I did.
Q:Do you ever get off to your own writing?
A: A little personal but yeah I do and it's actually hard not to and can be an inconvenience because you have to sit and cool down for a bit but that can also throw you off your game and it's like, "FUCK YOU LIBIDO!" It's really just for my own personal stuff really or a commissioner that gives me a scenario where I'm just totally down for it and my mind runs wild. And before you say "That's Weird" and "Artist don't do that you freak!" You have to know that you're literally sitting down and typing out your dirty thoughts, dwelling on the personal or commissioned lustful antics of two characters that are constantly doing the dirty in your head and it just keeps going. At times the most you worry about is if you've said the word "cock" or "ass" too many times in one paragraph or if your dialogue is quickly spiraling into mindless hentai speak which in the moment sounds great but then you read it back to yourself and you're disgusted by it. You're not concerned with anatomy as you are with trying to set up words that will excite and arouse your commissioner and your reader. Your job is to literally give them a boner with words if you're a writer of erotica and that's not always easy.
Q:Do you ever get discouraged about your writing?
A: Yeah mainly because there's no real feedback involved or a sense of growth in this community. Most people see a story on tumblr and if they have to scroll for more than 15 seconds to reach the end they flip out and just click away and don't bother to give it a chance. The whole TL:DR thing kind of sucks when that's your job and you're trying to scrap a few bucks together to get some art for your characters. A lot of feedback that you get is opinion based, there's nothing that people pick out in your style of wording or phrasing that you could improve on and what not. They just give you an opinionated response that does nothing for you. "That's hot" or "I loved it." is great and all but there's gotta be something more there. And that leads into the insecurity of, "Is my craft actually worth it? Can I make a living off this? Could I open a patreon and have people support projects I want to do but need money for?" Those issues come up and some writers really do just give up because of page views or submission views and nothing to really show for it other than a number.
But it does make you feel warm inside when you have those readers who tell you that you do amazing jobs at bringing characters to life and giving them bits and pieces of personality that make them seem real. The things that you can't always do with just a single picture. So that's always nice to.
Q: What's writers block like?
A:Imagine you're cruising down an open road in the fastest car imaginable. There's not an obstruction in sight and you've never been more alive or excited about something ever. And then. All of a sudden. Out of fucking no where. A 4X4 mile block of obsidian crashes 100 yards ahead of you and you just grind to a screeching halt and are forced to look at this thing for who knows how long. It's just there! You didn't want it to be there! BUT IT'S FUCKING THERE AND IT WON'T GO AWAY. Sometimes you have to pray that you can nuke it and other times you just gotta wait until you get enough fuel to just crash through it with your car.
Q:What's something(s) you hate about being a writer?
A: The general sense that people don't take you as seriously as they do artist? It's really that it seems that people don't have the attention span to even give reading a story a chance. In this community the payoff has to be instantaneous or it's not worth it and lets be honest there are people who are gonna read this journal and do the thing I was talking about before hand. There's also a lot of negative connotations about being a smut writer or an erotica author that people still hold onto. "They're just perverts writing down their dirty ideas" "They just sit there and jerk off to characters and write about them" "Hey baby you want sum fuk" that kind of shit and there are a lot of writers out there who do that kind o stuff in this community and it paints a bad light for the rest of us because unlike art you can't judge a story right from the get go. You can't open the file and know how it's gonna turn out, it's something you have to give a chance on but people have been burned so heavily by perverts who call themselves writers that people don't even bother with the rest of us.
Q:What's one thing you wish was easier?
A: Collabing. Doing trades with people from different media. Writing comics for people and helping them explore their own characters and make their own world. A lot of that stuff would be so much fun to do but there's just this fear and lack of knowledge of how to go about this because of the lack of intermedia mingling there is. What would be a fair trade between and author and writer? Is it worth going into a trade? How would my audience receive being exposed to purely written work as opposed to the regular content I've produced? There's a lot of things that I wish would be easier and I've been in talk with people lately and we're discussing it now but it still is a massive grey area and it's just a lot of troubleshooting left undone.
Q:What's your favorite thing about being an author?
I get to give characters personality traits, dialogue and inner monologues that people wouldn't really get in a stand alone picture. I get the challenge of trying to capture all the detail I can into a product that isn't boring but exciting and can sweep people into a whirlwind of emotion. I get to touch on things that artist won't do as much or even at all sometimes. I can build worlds and create concepts and characters that are meaningful before they get a visual representation...I get to play a roll in my characters lives. They grow as I grow and I love that about what I do.
