This is the first chance I've gotten to post about this but I found out that one of my oldest and longest standing friends, Eskwa, has passed. She was one of my very first friends on furry-paws and was always there when I needed a reason to smile. We had lost contact for a while but we were working on bridging that recently. It's going to really suck not having her to talk to when shit gets rough. Breathe easy, love, and please take care of Kina. You both fought so hard

Posted 10 years agoI'm so miserable being home.....I thought I would be happy but I miss my person a lot. This sucks, this hurts and I wish I didn't have to do it. I really hope I can get therapy soon because things are not going well and I've been back in SC for like.......a day. Not even 24hours. I'm so sad and just shitty feeling and all I want to do is cry.........

Just wanted to give you all a heads up that I will be inactive after about February 7th-ish. I willbe moving to Columbia, SC from NH and I'm not sure when I'll have the internet installed. Not even sure that I WANT it installed to be honest. There's too much online that frustrates me/causes me to have more issues than I need. I won't go into details, because, again, I doubt anyone cares -- LOL. But yeah. This is just kind of a heads up? I'm going to try and get all my owed art done, which is mostly on FA but I need to get myself into gear with that. x.x; ANYWAYS, that's that. So yeah. e.e;

Breaktime.
Posted 11 years agoAs some of you may know, by keeping up with my twitter, I am going to be taking a step back from the furry fandom for a while. I have too much going on in real life at the moment, and those of you who are close to me will know what I mean.
If you have my facebook, you'll understand as well.
Simply put, I just cannot make the changes that I feel are necessary to better myself as a person while I am active in this community. It has absolutely nothing to do with anyone in it, it's me -- I promise. I just really need to focus on me right now, and with how much I care about all you damn animal people, it's impossible. This isn't saying I'm not going to be around for you lot, just not as much. I will stay logged into skype, of course, and my phone is always with me. Feel free to drop me a note or message if you would like, I will get it eventually.
For those waiting on trades, I WILL get them done. Just, instead of posting them here, they will be noted to you. I do not wish to post to my gallery at this time.
On a side note, some of you who follow my twitter and facebook will also know about the loss I suffered recently. One of my Border Collies, my nine year old, Blaze, passed away on September 5th. Both my aunt and dad were there with him, as he lost his battle to cancer. I unfortunately was not there because I don't live in South Carolina, however, it does not make the pain any less. He was a product of my own dogs, and my heart is absolutely shattered. With grieving him, it has brought a lot of things to light, and it is one of the reasons I need to take a step back. I really need to re-evaluate my priorities.
Hopefully you guys can understand this, and I'm hoping that I have your support.
I love each and every single one of you fuzzheads, and I hope to see you all soon.

As for life, it's eh.
I started a new job, which is working me 40-60hours a week since they are so busy. It's a private salon and the environment is much more healthy for me to be there. I'm not hearing abusive things, nor seeing them -- so it's fantastic.
I'm looking for a new place to move into, but it's going to be a slow process, of course. I would like to attend Furpocalypse and MFF but I don't know if I will be able to, I really need to start thinking about my priorities and getting my head on straight. My depression has set in quite bad here recently, and it's effecting me pretty badly. I'm trying to save up some money so I can get help and possibly be on meds but it scares the living day lights out of me.

Anthrocon post-con report!
Posted 11 years agoWELL, let me start off by saying that this was by far the best con I have EVER attended. I met so many amazing people, I just CAN'T EVEN. There were so many aspects of this con I wish I could have brought home -- and ironically, as much as I wanted this to be a "animal people" con, it ended up being more than that. I got to meet so many people who I've known for years and it just really gave me a sense of family in the fandom.
I LOVE EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU AND YOU ALL CHANGED MY LIFE!
demiure & radiant - You guys were my wingmen through this whole fucking thing, and you made it AMAZING. I would have been so lost without you guys. And the fact that I get to come home to/with you guys makes it so much better. I'm hoping that your first con experience was great, and that you guys plan on attending more (MFF HINT HINT!)!!
