social media's "one-size-fits-all"-ification by closed, commercial apps is so bad.
...especially when the "size" is "280 characters"!! it's hard to fit in that few characters!! especially when you're a lil,,, uh,, _{f- fluffy,,,} ˶˃⤙˂˶)

tangets aside, just wanted to pop in here to give a sign of life, as well as apologize a lil for the indefinite hiatus in art goin on... (and any other disappearence-related shenanigans, aha.)
pardon, my brain's not the best friend at the best of times, and the past few months have been a little more intense than that!! haha ^^;
that, in addition to the fact that enjoying my hobbies has only been becoming more challenging, has put a bit of a damper on my talons producing, uh, literally anything. °m°;

but uh!! I'm working on it!! aha~
on the internet's advice, I've started seeing a shrink and - while no diagnosis has been reached yet - I have started becoming more aware of some bad thought patterns I'd fallen into and been challenging them more often! not sure how having my brain require that was evolutionarily advantageous, but y'know! here we are regardless, haha!
tl;dr - I am tirelessly working on being back in business!! 😤 till then, thank you for your patience!! 🙏🙇‍♂️

The Fediverse (i.e.: Mastodon & Co.) remains my main haunt, except I'm now on my own, personal lil server! Find me at @peckish@gotf.at :3

I also maintain a presence on Twitter (@VeryPeckish) and Bluesky (@peckish.gotf.at), where I cross-post most stuff, though:
* I'm not super active on either, and I've booted their respective apps off of my phone a while back, so if you message me there, I'll get it when I decide to check in
* Due to their limitations, some posts will be a bit cut down to get fit their low character limits and limited featureset, and followers-only posts will just plain not get cross-posted there at all (since neither place has those)
* Most stuff is cross-posted a day or so after it's posted on open platforms
tl;dr: corporate-owned, centralized platforms get the short end of the stick. :^))
