Time for a Darn Update
Posted 6 years agoFirst off I'm skipping TFF this year as my fiance and I have our wedding Fall 2019. Plus we are taking a vacation in Late Spring to Washington state to visit some of my family and hers.
We both bought our first house together back in Summer 2018, and started college again. She has finally found the career that she wants to do and has gotten a job in it, plus is doing online course work for her License as a Vet Tech. I'm pursuing my Bachelors in Aviation Management at Oklahoma State University as I already have my Associates. Also thanks to the University's flight club I have been trying to fly at least once a month, so far every other month is what has happened. I'm going to try to finally go for my Instrument rating this summer as I will have the opportunity through the flight club.
Luckily con wise it looks like Oklahoma will end up with two hotel fur cons within the next two years, so I will try to go to them for sure. As for my next full suit Cassie, if everything lines up financially after our wedding and I'm satisfied by my weight loss I may get her commissioned. Right now its looking like
nukecreations is who I plan on going with.

Posted 8 years agoSo I won't be getting a new suit for at least another couple years, I'm placing all my money into flight training to get back off the ground! Flight is what brought me to Oklahoma originally, but God had other things for me to do first. He has been telling me now is the time to start again! And I'm so happy and thankful for the way things are moving!

Texas Furry Fiesta and More
Posted 9 years agoTFF is coming up soon, and I want to go bad. Yet this year looks like it would be a bad financial decision due to multiple reasons.
So I'll be moving from Oklahoma to Washington in Late July to August this year, so I'm having to save money to make that trip.
Also so I can get employed as soon as I'm in Washington I'm having to take some Electrician classes at the Tech college which I have to pay cash for, I've paid one out of the three I need to take and the second one just like the first is just under $400 to take. The second class starts right after TFF, and I have to pay for it before the classes start. Then also my lease is up in March so I'm going to have to move which means I will have to have money for Pet deposit ready and perhaps a new security deposit if I don't end up rooming with some friends thru July, as I need to cut my rental costs down as much as possible. Then I also need to get a storage unit starting in February to move most of my property into until I move to Washington. Then finally, I want to be able to have a down payment to get Cassie commissioned at the end of this year from SVC.
So my next fur con won't be until TFF 2018 from the looks of it.

Update!!!
Posted 10 years agoSo things have been going well, will be going to Afest in Texas this September, and MFF in early December. The GF and I are doing well, she actually surprised me with some badges and a IpadMini recently <3.
I recently have acquired a new suit head which looked amazing in the pictures shown, but upon arrival its great looks diminished. It had many construction issues that weren't listed or shown, but no matter the GF and I decided to make lemonade out of this lemon and have stripped it down to a bare resin blank with eyes. The GF and I will be rebuilding the head and selling it off to help with MFF within the next few months. So keep an eye out.

Belated update and post TFF report
Posted 10 years agoFirst off TFF was awesome, did have to leave early due to weather. And didn't get to really dance either, went to the Saturday dance but I just couldn't dance to what they were playing. I love listening to the style they were playing that night but just didn't feel right for dancing even though I tried. I still think the dance on Saturday back at Anthrocon was the best. I would have danced for sure if we had gotten to stay Sunday, as my friends Mizuro and Shasta were playing that night, I have danced to there stuff before.
I got to hang with friends I hadn't seen since Anthrocon or last TFF which was fun! Some things didn't go as I had planned but instead what did happen was amazing and unexpected. I'm now in a relationship with
amosthewolf She is wonderful and I had no idea she was so into me already. She will be visiting me in a week and in April we are already moving in together as she wants to get away from the environment at her parents and current work.
I've gotten us a nice new townhome apartment which is two stories. Bedroom and bathroom upstairs, downstairs living room and kitchen and dinning area. The place has a wood burning fireplace too. The new location got me a few miles closer to work too, and its closer to where she is going to try to get a job.
Also I have a firearms accessory in the works that I'm going to make a kill off of in the firearms community and Airsoft community! I will share more on it when I get a patent.

Who is ready for 2015!
Posted 11 years agoI'm so excited for the new year now! Especially after my Christmas which was mostly lonely like it has been for some time.
But the new year is coming and so much great stuff I have planned for myself and also for everyone else!
I will be giving my harness crafting business a new name that will introduce my new venture along with my current harness venture. I'm certain this is something that can take off and will be a big hit in the fandom, but first I have to save up some money, do surveys of the community, and some other things before I start producing products.
The latest and newest thing with my crafting business is the introduction of my official photo model for all my future harnesses, I would like to introduce you all to Abby

Life update and stuff
Posted 11 years agoHey my fellow furs, so things for the most part are looking really well for me :D
To start about a month ago I got a really large raise as I passed the Oklahoma State tests for my trade licenses in the Security and Fire Alarm Industry. Then on top of that my one year anniversary with the company was this month, I got surprised with another raise. Best part is when the owner and president of the company comes up and says, "so you came up for a raise today, I gave you one" and he shakes your hand. I absolutely love working for my company.
So with that unexpected raise I will definitely be able to make payments on a body suit after I commission it. As for getting the down payment for it, I've started working some extra OT on a Saturday or Sunday every other week, once I have my down payment for the suit I will continue doing the weekend work to help save up for a new vehicle within a year or so.
I'm also getting back into flying by joining Civil Air Patrol, it will be a lot of learning to do as I haven't flown since 2009. But I'm up for it, I just love the feeling of flying an aircraft.
Now a little bit of news about my family. I found out this week that one of my uncles had a stroke and he is only in his mid 40's, Luckily it wasn't as bad as it could have been from what my grandparents have told me but the doctors are saying he will probably never be able to work as a pharmacist again. In some good news I'll be going to Cali for my Mom's wedding in December, I plan on bringing my fursuit and trying to hang with some local furs.

Posted 11 years agoI'm so excited!!! My Mom surprised me and bought me a singer sewing machine!!! I will be able to pick it up on Friday!!! So that means that I will be able to get harnesses out way faster than I previously expected!!!
