Since the YCH is half way from over and it seeming like noone wanted slot 2 its pretty much turned into a 2 person soft shaded piece with background. Something like that would usually cost somewhere around 120.00$, but current highest bid is 40.00.

So I've been away from the site for almost a year now since my falling out with the mods and rules and such. since then i would hop on for the occasional reference when need be. my pal says they've been around for a while. i guess its cause i usually had my ad blocker on. But since my time at IB i usually would have my ad blocker off cause theirs no trackers or ads on there site. I will also take off blockers for sites that need the ad counts to stay up like "The Cenima Snob" or patreon. So i said "eh, why not turn them off here". I remember there were like maybe 2 banners on the site before i left. i turn off my ad blocker on here now i get like 5 ads on my main page with a tracker ad trying to sell me shit.

What happen to fan support? they manage fan support on sites like IB and weasly so you dont have to deal with ads. Just thought this would be a fixed problem by now. I get that some artists need exposure around here, I just think the better way would be to set up a featured system. Its a lot cheaper on the artist and with ad blockers being a normal thing now, those ads may never been seen by the people who would have paid for artwork by that artist anyway.

Even then artists still have tons of other sites like e621, tumblr, and more that gives free exposure. heck, patreon does that and helps artists get funding for projects without the artist paying a dime (not counting taxes and exchange rates).

I know im babbling like a old man, just it surprised me today when i saw so many ads after i turned off my blockers. By all means if you have any opinions or thoughts on the topic, leave a comment bellow.

So my friend from FA told me about all the changes. omg it was about time. I left some time back due to the lack of features around here.... That and some back and forth with mods about posts on here. I would go into more detail but needless to say, we got things cleared up.
