A Friend in Need
Posted 2 years agoHey, folks! I've emerged from the black hole that I now apparently reside in to pass the word along for an artist friend of mine, 
xBlueAshesx She could really use some financial support right now. I'm going to quote her journal directly, because she explains the situation pretty well, and why it really sucks.
"Because of FA guidelines I won't go into detail or name names, but to explain the situation... Last night I received a chargeback for $320 USD, that's nearly $400+ CAD. This customer ordered three comic pages, three of which had been sketched out, and one lined waiting to be colored. I put multiple hours of work into these pages, not to mention the time finding references for the obscure commission, all for nothing. Anyways. That's just a little of me venting, but also explaining why I need dire help. My account is $400+ in the negative, which I need to make back because we all know PayPal doesn't side with artists no matter what proof is given. Then, I need $900 more to cover my rent and internet. I need to make $1,300 within FIVE DAYS. I've personally gotten a ton of art from Blue as of late, most if not all of which I will begin reposting on my userpage, once I get the artist's permission. She's a wonderful person, and she is one of the most kind and patient artists I know. And for all of you who frequent my page because of my piss-related commissions or stories, yes, she does draw watersports. And she draws things besides canines as well, despite what her gallery might indicate. Her prices are very reasonable, and her style is super cute! I legitimately love her art so much. I'm painfully aware that times are thin for everybody and every penny counts, but nobody deserves to be blindsided like that. If even just one of you sends her support or takes out a commission, it will make her day. I know, because every piece of art I've gotten from Blue helps her live. I do not say this lightly, but... if you can, please help her out. She works her ass off to make ends meet, and it'd break my heart to see her go under.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

It's me again, Pratum_Vulpes! So, 2021 has been an interesting year. I've started working towards my Bachelor's degree, Covid refuses to go away, and in general there's just been a bunch of chaos.
However, Christmas has been nice! I finally uploaded some of my remastered stories, and I am working on a brand new story for everyone to enjoy. It won't have any watersports content, but I am hardly abandoning my wet, kinky roots! I am simply diversifying now, as I said in my bio.
Honestly, I just want to wish each and every one of you a Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year, and Happy Holidays! Thank you all so much for your support and feedback throughout 2021. It means a lot to me to people viewing and engaging with my works, and the positive comments have been wonderful to read!
And if you've ever wanted to commission me, sit tight! I have plans regarding that, plans which I intend to share in the near future. For now, I'm gonna work on my latest story and take it easy!

2021 Update (Part II)

Gonna keep things short and sweet this time around, as I'd like to focus on writing more stuff.
I'm doing okay, but the spring and early summer have been a bit of a roller-coaster. Lots of sudden changes, and my foray into a food-service job didn't go well. I'll be heading back to college and working on a Creative Writing degree, which hopefully will keep me in the writing mindset/mood more frequently.
The Great Re-uploading is still in the works, and has become my priority. I just need to make sure my stories have been adequately updated and polished before I post them. I really do want to make them more accessible and get them up, but looking over my works takes time.
I have new stories in the works, too! But, they'll also require time to be finished and proofread. Hopefully my latest story will be enough to tide you over until more stuff comes in.

2021 Update
Posted 4 years agoHey folks, Pratum_Vulpes here! It's long overdue that I give a bit of info on my status, so I'll get right to it.
2020 was a wild ride, and here in Freedom Land it's shaping up to be Wild Ride 2: Political Strife Boogaloo (Now with extra Covid-19 fatalities!) Yaaaaaay...
Boy, I don't really know where to start. How about dipping for the latter half of 2020? Yeah, that would be a good thing to explain. Long story short, my fall semester had my very stressed. In particular, my accelerated College Algebra class, which was a nightmare devised by the same person who made 2020, had me so anxious and burnt out that by the time the semester was over and I got my Associates, I had become mildly depressed. My motivation and energy tanked as a result. I am okay now, but the wind was really taken out of my sails for a good chunk of time.
However, now that I am pulling myself out of my slump and closer to feeling normal, I have big plans for my writing:
1. Posting new works
I will be working on new stories for everyone to read! Some are close to being done, and others I have ideas for that simply need to be written down and worked on.
2. The Great Re-uploading
I have decided to take my 7 previous stories, all of which are in .docx format, and begin to re-upload new versions of them as .txt files! This will make it so you can just read them right in your browser, and won't need to fiddle with downloads or finding software that can open .docx files. Hooray!
I'll also be giving them some extra proofreading and editing, but I don't plan on making changes to characters and plots. It's more of a quality update that should make my older stories easier or more enjoyable to read.

Due to the current global insanity, otherwise known as COVID-19, my spring college semester got all, as the hip kids say, "wack." I turned away from writing to make sure I could adjust to the changes in my academics and complete the semester. However, I'm now on spring break (thank god), and that means I will have plenty of free time to get back to writing the short stories that all 15 or so of you love.
That's right!
I am stepping back into the writing ballpark, and I hope to keep delivering more works for everyone to enjoy! Everyone who enjoys the niche I currently write for, anyways. So watch your notifications, and keep your eyes peeled, because there will be more stories headed your way!
Real talk: It's nice to be back. Hopefully you will enjoy my latest works as much as I enjoyed writing them.
