My hours have been DRASTICALLY cut back at work, to the point where I don't even have a damn shift this week! I took off last week to housesit for a friend, but now, this is just ridiculous.
Because of the lack of work, I will be lacking cash.
So, please people, now more than ever, I need donations.
I will be doing donation sketches for ANYONE interested in them. I only ask one thing...
Don't comment on this journal saying you wish you could help but don't have a way of paying. Either pay or don't comment, I cannot stress this enough!
$5 will get you a sketch
$10 will get you an inked picture
$15 will get you a full-colored piece
An extra $3 dollars per additional character
That seems reasonable, right? I hope you people help me out with this.

Pumpkin Month Passes By... Welcome to Turkey Month!

That means Thanksgiving is only a few weeks away now! :D Turkey, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, warm bread from the oven, and most importantly, being around friends and family for an entire day! ^^ I can't freaking wait!
So, last night was an experience I'll never forget; I got drunk during a bar crawl with my brother and his friends. XD I had to come home early because I wasn't feeling my best, but damn, I had a fun time! ^^
So I hope you all had a safe Halloween, and now, have a fantastic Thanksgiving in the next few weeks! :D
BTW, donation sketches are open now.

So guess what movie I just got back from seeing at the theater?
Guardians of the Galaxy! :D
I've been wanting to see it in the theater since it was announced, and now, today I had my wish fulfilled! But what did I think of the movie...?
Honestly... I don't think I ever had a more fun experience at the show than what I had today! X3 This movie, if I could sum it up in a single word, would be, I think... "fun". Just pure, unbridled fun. <3
I mean seriously, Guardians was, in my opinion, the perfect blend of action and comedy. It wasn't a traditional Marvel movie in the slightest, and that is what made it unique, I think, kind of like the original Punisher movie. When I watched the original Punisher movie, I felt as if I WASN'T watching a Marvel movie, and that's what made it so great.
Guardians, however, had enough wackiness and knowledge of recent Marvel releases to constantly remind me that it was indeed done by Marvel. Little tiny Easter eggs of things like a hologram of the Tesseract, for instance.
Oh, and the soundtrack? LOVED IT! :D
But honestly, I think my favorite thing about this movie - other than the gratuitous amount of Zoe Saldana butt shots X3 - was Rocket. XD
All in all, I'd be willing to see it again. ^^

All I know is that she will be a zebra of pure African heritage... and she really wouldn't be one of my characters unless I gave her a defining characteristic. Can you guess what that characteristic will be? ;3

A huge - and I mean HUGE - round butt, and a big, pudgy belleh. X3 In fact, she may just be bigger than Snow and Storm. O.o
So, all I need is help coming up with a name. Give me some suggestions of good African names, please. ^3^
