Hurricane...yay
Posted 8 years agoThis hurricane is proving to be a real pain to be completely honest. First off cause I am gonna be one of the first towns in Florida to get hit. Second, it is gonna hit us as a category 4. Third, my house has zero protection. And finally, all resources to hold off in a storm this big have been completely sold out. Water, gas, food, batteries, flashlights are gone. So yeah...this is gonna be a fun few days haha.

You only have one life so live it with as much love as possible no matter who you love. Who you love and who you identify yourself as does not change your personality at all. An update and a request
Posted 8 years agoHey everyone. Just me checking in on a new journal entry. Last time I wrote one was in February sheesh. Anyways, I finished my first year of college. I did have a lot of bumps in the road, but other than that, it was a great first year and I am hoping to start the next one promptly. Other than that, not too much has been going on with me personally. I am just happy to be on summer vacation finally. Next week, I am going on a trip to Colorado with my family to go mountain biking so I am pretty excited for it hehe >w< Anyways, I hope all is well with all of you ^^
Also, I have a quick lil request from some of the awesome people that watch me. I have a friend about to go on 100 watchers which is a pretty big accomplishment. He did not want me to write this and is actually pestering me about it now to stop haha. Anyways if you could give

Back to campus :P
Posted 9 years agoSo, break this year was the best one yet. I got to go to the mountains of Colorado for the best trip of my life and I got to hang out with all of my friends from soccer and from high school. After I came back from the snowboarding trip, I had a huge Alumni soccer game with all of the soccer graduates. There were a couple Division 1 players as well as a few Division 2 players. I played goalie for most of the game because that is where I am most comfortable. It was a great game. I only got scored on once, and it was the cheapest way to score which is a cross and a tap in. However, I did come out of the net to play up top and managed to get two assists and a goal with my weak foot. The week following the Alumni game consisted of more soccer, going to the everglades and snake hunting, and playing airsoft in the woods by my house. Overall, this break was incredible and I cannot wait to see where I will go Spring Break. I am hoping to go to Mexico because that is where all the college kids go to party over the break. This week, I will release another brain teaser for a free drawing. I am only making it a sketch though because my drawings always look worse after I fill them in XD. I hope all of your New Year's resolutions have also been going well ^^

Much pain
Posted 9 years agoSo, me and my friend raced down a double black diamond and it did not end well. I was winning and halfway down, I completely ate it XD. I landed on my left arm and my shoulder dislocated. It was extremely painful to be honest. Normally, my right shoulder dislocates, but this was a completely different arm. This is going to be an interesting two more days.
P.S. Do not race down an extremely difficult mountain when your goggles are fogged up.

Posted 9 years agoNot sure why, but I think I am the calming force in my house. Ever since I left for college in August, the stability of my tiny family has spiraled down into a black hole. My family consists of my one sister, 17, and my two parents.
My sister is a handful, like any other teenage girl, and tends to get on my parents nerves. Normally she bothers me, but now she seems to be going after them.
Recently, my sis got denied from the same University as I did. She only got into a community college and some other small ones that she did not want to go to. She did not seem upset when she told me, but she was completely destroyed. This anger was put forth towards the people around her, specifically my parents. She continued to ask for money to please her needs because she wanted pity for her failure. My parents did pity her for a bit, but up until yesterday, they snapped on her.
I got a call today from her and could not understand but a few words because she was crying so hard. I hate to say it, but my sister is selfish, ignorant, and lazy about life. She has yet to get a true reality check about it and I plan on giving it to her after her soccer game tonight. She kept on going about how my parents were "mean" because they did not let her open her Mac Computer for Christmas early. She argued it was for her 7 page paper, but we also have two fully functional other computers in the house. My parents went off on her and she is now an emotional wreck.
The thing is, my parents work so hard to make sure me and my sister will be successful in life, and I am so grateful for that, that I am doing a major that I do not really want to do in order to be get money to pay them back for what they have laid out for me. My poor mother is working three jobs to help me pay for my college, and my sister is fucking complaining about not getting a Mac early for Christmas. Jesus Christ! To add, my parents spent almost 5,000 dollars over the course of 5 years on her "developing soccer career". She has made no attempt to get a scholarship despite my parents effort. She loves the sport, but is too lazy to do any research or work. She has gotten offers from schools, but still does not want to play, what the actual fuck. I tried to get a scholarship for goalkeeper, and got one offer from a division 2 school, Georgia Southern University. I did not go because they did not offer Engineering. I am regretting it though, because my parents also laid out a lot of money for me to play soccer. My parents also gave her a debit card for her to use for small snacks and drinks after school, yet she goes out buying 70$ pedicures once a week. The ignorance of her makes me want to smack the shit out of her.
Not sure how I am going to tell her to grow a pair and man up, but it is not going to be pretty and she may hate me for a bit. If it comes from me though, she might listen. Sorry for taking up your time if you read this. Needed to put this on paper or I was gonna lose it myself. Please forgive the profanity as I do not normally curse, but it was what was on my mind.

Little update about life
Posted 9 years ago I have began making Youtube videos and I hopefully will not stop like I have in the past with other channels. I post videos about gaming whether it is Call of Duty, Skyrim, Minecraft, RocketLeague, or other console games. My videos are probably very cringy to watch, but I have given up trying not to be cringy. I do use somewhat vulgar language, but so do all other gamer accounts for the most part, especially the ones that play FPS. If you cannot handle a little cursing, the channel is not for you.
I have also made a twitter account outside my personal life which is posted in the "social network" area on my page. I usually retweet tons of funny stuff from either vine or instagram. I also tend to retweet tons of awesome soccer goals because why not.
On another note, my cousin came into O town for a little with his team. He is a quarter back coach for the San Francisco 49ers, an NFL team. I have not seen him in a couple of years since he took his coaching to the next level. His team actually practiced on my campus and I was privileged enough to shake hands with the head coach, Chip Kelly, and meet some other players on the team. Sadly, he has to go play a game in Chicago today, so the visit was short lived, but I am happy I got to seem him again.
T-7 days till I get to go home for winter break and get away from campus for a bit. Finals are going to be a pain to study for, but in the end, I get to relax. The 14th of this month, I leave for Colorado to go snowboarding which is super exciting. Going to be an expensive trip, but will be worth it in the end of things.

In other news, I landed a job today. I used to work at an ice cream shop but that did not go well considering the owners were completely checked our from reality. But I did get one today at a pizzeria. Can't wait to work my way up to the top!

Top ten!
Posted 9 years agoSo I had a 2 mile race today (3.2 km) and I finished in the top ten out of 700+ runners. I am pretty excited because this is the first race that I have entered as a competition rather than just a "fun" race. I got me a nice plaque and a new personal best time for this distance. I finished this 2 mile in 11 min and 45 sec. Obviously 9th place is not good enough so time to train for 1st. Do any of you run too? If so for fun or for competition?
Back on campus
Posted 9 years agoSo, the Hurricane came and went pretty quickly and gave me a nice four day break from college. After hearing about the deaths in other countries, I send my thoughts to the families that have lost someone in their lives. My city in Florida did not get as hard as the places along the coast but there was still debris scattered. Thankfully, the hurricane did go out into the Atlantic and dissipated rather than looping back into Florida and causing more havoc.
In other news, I am currently watching the presidential debate and wondering what country I am gonna move to when the next president is elected. Trump is an arrogant douche and Hillary has policies exactly like Obama. Not to bring the idea of politics to my page but this is seriously an embarrassing moment for the US having clowns argue on national television.

Hurricane Mathew
Posted 9 years agoSo, assuming classes are canceled the rest of the week, I am pretty confident that I will have to evacuate my dorm due to the hurricane rolling towards FL. I hope that the campus does not get completely destroyed by this Category 3/4. The only good thing about the hurricane is that it brings really good waves to surf which I tend to exploit :) If you are in the path of it, like me, stay safe.
1st Journal entry?
Posted 9 years agoSo, to make my page slightly more interesting, I guess I will fill in journals once in a while. From what I have noticed on other peoples pages, Journals are just for recapping a cool event in their lives or asking questions. If that is what it is for, I could write for hours. I guess I could summarize my last 4 weeks of college:)
So, I am a freshman in college and my desired major is Aerospace Engineering. This is probably one of the coolest majors out there just because it can help satisfy my need to explore what is unknown. In the next following years, I would like to get an internship with either NASA or Space X to help aid me in my path to success.
Back to the college thing. If you have not gathered from my page yet, I do love soccer and without it, I would be a couch potato XD. I am outside everyday practicing drills on the small goal on campus in order to reach the best of my ability. In the begging of college, I tried out for the club soccer team for my school. There were a total of 90 kids that were trying out and there were only 4 available spots. This was kind of nerve racking because I was a freshman and many of the other competitors were upper class men. I new how to play at a high level just because of all the major tournament I have been in, but I was still scared out of my wits. To add, I am a goalkeeper and there were 7 trying out that were also all older than me. After blocking every shot to my ability over the next week of tryouts, I made it to the final cuts. Not sure how I made it that far, but I did and that was an accomplishment in itself. I did not however make the final team. I was devastated and did not understand why kids that seemed below me in their skill levels got chosen. Since this day, about 3 weeks ago, I have been outside 3 hours a day practicing on everything you can think of from freestyle juggling to extension diving to taking shots on net. I realized the only person to blame is myself for not practicing enough before the tryout. This spring is the next tryout date and I am determined to make this squad if it is the last thing I do.
Enough of the soccer talk now... I went off a little too much there... Oh well XD. The rest of school so far has been a blast. The only bad part of my class schedule is Chemistry for engineers. This class started off easy and is progressively getting harder. Just yesterday, our teacher attempted to teach us the quantum mechanical atom structure. This did not sit well with the majority of the class XD. More good news about the academic side of things is that I have completed my entire math class in the first 4 weeks of school. This is great and now I should be able to advance to Pre calculus by the end of this year. If I stay on the right track, Calc 2 will be at the end of sophomore year:/ Not too excited about that class.
So there is my update because I am low-key kinda bored right now and am trying my hardest to procrastinate my Humanities essay. If you read this all, congrats! You found out more about me and you made my day. If any of you academic people out there need help, you know the right Charmander to go to :)
