Updates; future plans of cons and artings
Posted 10 years agoThe girlfriend arrived safely in Brisbane earlier today. The apartment feels lonely without her presence, and saying goodbye never gets easier. But the healing does when multiple plans are made already for next visit. She's wants to go to a few cons next year (mainly thinking AZFC and Rainfurrest at the moment, as that will allow her enough time to save up and such.) I'll be happy to attend as well of course! Perhaps I'll even have a character of my own to focus on by then.
Speaking of cons, I finally uploaded some photos from Arizona Fur Con! Slowly learning that one rule of photography, "Take Many, Save Few." That's okay though, as photography isn't my forte as much as digital art.
I'm also planning on that being a thing these next few months as I have them off of work. I do want to practice digital art a whole lot more and start offering badge commissions before the cons next year. If you want free art of your character, come to me! (Free because I need the practice more than I need the money. Well, I always need money, but I won't allow myself to request money for art that really isn't that good yet)

AZFC!
Posted 10 years agoThis will be a bit short but I thought I may write a bit about my time at Arizona Fur Con!
I had an amazing time last weekend at the con, most of it was spent chasing after
, but I did have the chance to enjoy it for myself as well. Attending the con was like being thrown into the deep end of a pool to learn how to swim, as I'm incredibly new to the fandom. I was more focused on making sure that Pompeii had a great time at the con, as I didn't really know what to expect otherwise. The whole weekend had me thinking about fursona ideas for myself, and I hope to at least get a partial made eventually. My partners tell me it's an involved process, not a split decision type of thing, but I'm sure in time I'll grow more involved in the fandom and such and grow to love it as much as they do. For now, I'm just happy to sit back and watch and I'll eventually upload the best of my photos of the weekend!
Friday at the con was mainly spent running around the hotel trying to get our room and get Pompeii's suit. That day I got to meet the incredible people who made Pompeii come to life, the people at Heads and Tails Studios! They are beautiful and welcoming people and I'm happy I got to witness the love that went into making Pom. I'm just sad that I crashed that night and missed out on the room party that they held. I heard it was amazing though! Pompeii made it to the angel dragon meet, where I got to see the amazing Telephone, and the ever cute
as Tea, who we kept running into the entire weekend.
Saturday I got to see the Fursuit Parade, Uncle Kage's story hour, which had me laughing a whole lot. It was good to just sit and listen to someone with the mindset such as his, with so many great stories. Afterwards we got to listen to Telephone and Tayerr tell their stories, which was just as hilarious. Myself and my partners danced at the rave that night, and it felt good to let go and not care about outside stress for the time we were there.
Sunday Pompeii got dressed and went to the dealers den to pick up the art she had requested from someone there the day before. It was amazing to see the artist light up at someone enjoying her work, especially in the suit of the character she drew! Seeing artists so proud of their work and getting that type of feedback makes me smile. We just ran around enjoying the last day as much as we could. After the con ended,
,
and I had our own little get together in our room with
and her friends, where we had a pizza in less than ten minutes. I got to watch shenanigans between our two angel dragons, Pom and Tea. It was amazing to be around, even though I didn't get myself involved. It was just incredibly nice to wind down on our own like that, which lessened the severity of Post Con Depression.
This journal is rather short compared to others raving about their time at the con, because as I said, I didn't get myself too involved. I was happy to watch the goings on around me, just observing and taking the fandom in. Hopefully next time i'll put myself out there more and better enjoy everything for its greatest value! It was an amazing experience and I wouldn't trade being at the con for anything.

Kindran.Ornitier are attending Arizona FurCon the 16th to the 18th! That weekend I should start uploading photos of Pompeii and all the other furs we're excited to meet! Then my page should start becoming active and the purpose will be evident.
I do have a few ideas on videos to take, and I'll be making a new youtube account for the videos i intend on filming and editing.
I'm so excited to meet everyone at AZFC and I hope to be able to show of my creative side with the photos and videos I take that weekend
