(it was cancer) And actually watching the procedure with his head in my lap was a bit more traumatizing than I expected.

Thank you all so much for the comments on my last journal - I'm doing a ton better now. My stay at the hospital lasted about 5 days, and all the procedures they had to do were quite unpleasant. (IV antibiotics and fluids round the clock, as well as magnesium. Morpheme every 2 hours, a blood test at 4am every night, and a shot right in my gut every morning) But I am no longer in pain, thank gods. I have a new diet plan I need to follow to prevent any more attacks, so I hope this never happens again.

Anyone else out there that is suffering with diverticulosis/diverticulitis... I truly feel for you. <3

I've been in the hospital since Thursday morning, I came in with severe stomach pains and they diagnosed me with diverticulitis. They plan to keep me until Tuesday:/ they have fluids and antibiotics round the clock thru an iv. It sucks. :((

turned my tablet on this morning and I noticed when I zoom out, I still see the picture sort of burned into the screen. it then fades away. only for it to happen again when I zoom in + out again.

tablet is a 2011 Cintiq 21ux. i don't leave the screen on unless I'm actually working - so I'm really unsure of what it could be. And I had no luck with my google searches. :'( (or maybe I just suck at google-fu)

I'm curious if anybody knows anybody who may have had this problem, or may know what's wrong with it? I turned it off after I saw what was going on and I don't really want to turn it back on, maybe unless to try and fix it.

I just noticed through Paypals new website when I go to request money, I have no option to select it as Goods or Services. The latest batch of commissions I’ve had people pay for I have paypal asking me to print shipping labels for which I know is a HUGE NO-NO when you have nothing to ship for it.

I cannot figure out how I use to do this before they updated their site. And if I recall correctly I had the same issue when using their invoice system which is why I navigated away from that. (unless they changed it, in which case I didn't see an option for it there either so maybe I'm just very blind) x_x;

Also I'm not entirely sure about what to do with the shipping label thing--do I print them out in order to not get flagged? I'm just kind of at a loss and I don't want my account to get fucked over. :I If anyone else has had any experience with this I'd love insight.

Still fighting with my tablet, the pen is just randomly not wanting to recognize SAI. I'm doing a few different workarounds but they're a huge pain in the ass. I just can't figure out what caused it to happen in the first place.

Part of me wants to just reformat my drive and start over. I've uninstalled/reinstalled my tablet. Updated the drivers. Same with SAI. Done everything I could find on the Wacom forums and google searches. So I'm just at a huge loss and chalk it up to a computer whatthefuckup.
When I do my workaround it fixes my problem for a day or two, and then when I turn my tablet on the pen just doesn't work in SAI, but is just fine in everything else.

It's starting to get kind of frustrating - I'll turn my tablet on (Cintiq 21UX) and the pen will act like it's dead when SAI is open. But if I close sai it works just fine (in photoshop or just clicking around on the screen)

My extremely frustrating workaround has been to uninstall sai, restart my computer, install a trial period of sai, and then delete the trial period (not uninstall, just delete the folder) and replace it with a backup copy of my own. And this seems to have my pen recognize sai again - for a short period.

I would like to mention that when I did get my tablet a few years ago it really did not want to work with sai and I don't remember how, but I had to pretty much fight with it to get pressure to work. Unfortunately with SAi/my tablet being a jackass it's been really hard to get work done. So I was curious if anybody else had this problem, or if anybody may know what's going on?

Hey guys, been doin my best to draw, though, it's been hurting like heck. But I have some pretty good-ish news!

I had my follow up appointment yesterday and after some more poking and prodding my doctor decided surgery was the final step to take in fixing my hand/wrist. It's supposed to be a pretty simple procedure, I'll be in and out in one day and recovery is less than a few weeks. I'm waiting on the call to schedule my surgery so I should know how soon I'll be back to working by then! :'D

I'm pretty excited for this to be over and to get back into the groove of working. Not to mention making money again ;w; Also just as I logged on tonight I hit 11k watchers, holy shit you guys thank you all so much! Fucking wow!

it's been awhile, so sorry, ugh x_x

i got my cast cut off last week, my doc did some physical tests on my wrists and some xrays too. he determined that some tendon did not heal right (the one on your inner wrist right under where your thumb bends) to where one of the bones broke, and i lost all range of motion in my thumb. quite painful too, but whatever lol

he stuck a needle directly into my joint to relieve some pain and also inject something, i forget exactly what. but it's been a week today and i'm able to move my thumb again (yay back to being a primate!) but not as much as i'd like without some unreal pain.

i did get the okay to pick my pen up and give drawing a go, which i did. and i'm going to hopefully be back into easy working next week. i go back for evaluation again in a few weeks to make sure they don't need to take further action, so hopefully i'll be okay from here! :'D

thanks so much for sticking with me through this bullshit, especially my wonderful commissioners who had ordered stuff right before i broke my wrist ;w; i definitely want to do something extra for y'all for being so amazing <3
