Thank you for the watches, the comments, and everything, its been awesome to be able to become good friends with you folks and be able to be part of the furry community, from locally with the  MNfurs to the greater picture of the fandom.

To my boyfriend: You know you have my eternal love for you and I wish things were different and we didnt live so far apart and such distance kept us apart, say for the times we have gotten together in person.

To MNfurs: Its amazing truely to have joined 2 years ago and seen the surge of growth in the group, before we barely fit up the Perkins room and now we use that room + 1 other + Starbucks + Applebees when we meet, and the events have only grown larger and larger and its been an honor to be part of the group during that time.


Now just so you all know, I am a skeptic and dont think it will end tommorrow but if it does at least I got my final words out there to those who watch me.

well.. it was ok until Sunday.. pretty much my parents dropped a bit of a bombshell on me.. they knew.. everything.. about my boyfriend, about us being together at Midwest Furfest, even the ring I bought in case I was gonna propose to him, among other things that I have been hiding from them...

As of this journal ive gotten 2 big talks from them about this stuff, while understand their views its made me depressed none the less and brought alot of questions forward and doubt into my relationship with my boyfriend.. I really want them to get his side of it too but my dad refuses to speak with my boyfriend, even when I had him on the phone with me Sunday

well, I finally started getting around to not being depressed enough about losing my job 2 weeks ago to start taking some steps to get by in the meanwhile.. today I filed for Unemployment Benefits and ill be getting an application to apply for food stamps and whatever other benefits I can receive in the meantime.

Good news is ill get 600 a week from unemployment (possibly) which is enough that the bills should be taken care of in the meantime...

Still rather depressed though on this whole situation.. sigh... wish we luck in getting a new job, my dad has been unemployed / underemployed for 3 years... which doesnt bring my hopes of a new job up by much

got my ticket in hand...

MFF made me very happy, I met Demonic_bellic for the first time and this made me very happy, and the con itself was alot of fun as always, saw many people from  MNfurs and people who I have seen at MFF last time and it was very enjoyable to see faces I knew left and right almost the entire con.

The depressing part was a 1-2 blammy on Monday, having to say goodbye to Demonic_bellic and finding out I have been let go from work, and am now unemployed..

*sigh* Here I was hoping things would go right and my weekend wouldnt end in mindnumbing depression.....

Unfortunately with me not being an artist or anything I cant do any sort of cool raffle or sorts but wanted to let you guys know thanks for watching and hope you are enjoying the occassion art and journals I post here.

First off welcome to all those new watchers from the Fur Lounge on Plug.Dj (found here: http://www.plug.dj/the-fur-lounge-furry-fandom/ ) what a great month its been, sadly the ad is coming to a end on FA so its important that people spread the word of mouth about the room, so we dont go extinct.

Countdown to MFF: 16 days! Im very excited to be reaching the 2 week mark for this, between all the fun of last year and the excitement of meeting my boyfriend  Demonic_bellic there, this year is gonna be the greatest yet! Planning on rooming with just me and him during the con which will be awesome for us to hang out and such.

Hurricane Sandy: While its not hitting here in Minnesota my boyfriend's power has been out at his house all today and it sucks only being able to text him and I hope power gets back soon before stuff goes rotten or it gets too chilly without heat and such.

Went to the DMV today.. for some odd reason I failed the vision test and now I need to see a eye doctor to get my license, even tho I am using glasses with lenses that are current with my prescription and I saw the eye doctor already... what a pain in the ass to add on top of the stuff from yesterday..

So I had a fun day at a event  ThePoetryNinja held at MOA for dueling.. I came home, as I usually do, to have my parents over and such, since they come by and see me Sunday Nights.

Well.. things went bad... they sat me down telling me alot of stuff, such as the comments directly aimed at trying to get me out of the furry fandom that I should live a real life and not a fantasy one, mind you I do ALOT of other stuff outside the fandom and suggested I see a psychologist.

Also they pressed several times if I had something I was hiding, which I lied to them since the tone of the conversation was one that there was no way I was gonna tell them about my boyfriend, I have a feeling they might have suspicions about it.. They told me I should try and go and date and get a girlfriend..

All in all the conversation was nerve-wracking, right now im upset and worried about my future...

I need to vent but I'm just unsure now how im gonna get through the rest of today and tommorrow after something like this.. and my plans for the future with my boyfriend are shot, I just.. dunno

Sorry for the delay but heres my report for fusion....

As a first time con the panel list and amount of people there was actually impressive, given it was mid October and not any school holidays or MEA weekend

The artist ally and dealers den were loaded up and I was happy to see our friends from Pawstar here in Minnesota again at another convention, and it seemed busy in the dealers den / artist ally.

The panels where ok, I wasnt very impressed by the Minecraft panel being run by 8-14 or 15 year old children with no adult supervision (siriously?), I did help them out at their request.

The video game room was good with a decent number of stuff... tho some didnt always work.. the table top room was great however, and 24 hours a day and had some fun games.

Didnt get to see much else such as the rave however I will say they did a better job moving people along on registration than Animinneapolis.

Overall tho im unsure if im going back next year.. frankly the main pull was friends who wanted me to come, and the prospect of the tabletop room, which while It was good, isnt nessassarly worth 40 bucks tho.
