I know art from me has been super slow again recently and I'm sorry. I've been really lacking motivation to draw for the past few months as it was but now I'm in one of those moods where I just can't be asked to do anything at all and the heat here lately definitely isn't helping. I'll still be participating in this years art fight but I also don't want to push myself too hard to draw otherwise it'll take me longer to get my mojo back >.<

I'm not quitting art anytime soon so no worries I'll defo still be posting here, but full illustrations are probs gonna remain scarce from me for a few more weeks ^^'

I think it's about time I start taking coms and doing YCHs again. I had a nice few weeks break from it and ready to get back to work ^w^
My schedule will go back to how it was before my break also though so keep that in mind if any of yous end up buying anything from me. I work Mondays-Thursdays then have the weekend off to do my own stuff.

Lel so I remembered that my old accounts existed and well... there's still a few pieces of art on them aha xD It always amuses me to see my old artwork and then to compare it with my newer works. I'm one to really hate on my artwork so it really makes me feel a whole lot better about my current art skills compared to years ago.

A big improvement xD I've changed the way I draw eyes and how I shade a few times since then. Also my backgrounds are a lot more vivid and detailed now compared to then and my anatomy, though could still use some work, is way better and I no longer use that gritty watercolour texture on all of my works pff :'D

Also if anyone followed me here from either of those accounts, if you got old art from me on there, I'll defo be up for redrawing them in my current style for 50% off my coloured illustration com prices so hmu if yo interested. Yo! I'll be back from my lil break very shortly. Didn't really end up getting to do anything for my birthday in the end so it was nice just to get a few days off from drawing at least ^w^

Finally updated my terms of service and commission prices. TOS was long over due. Price list is still kinda a WIP since most examples are either old or missing but it'll do for now. I'll keep updating it with new examples and adding new com types as I go but for now I hope everything is alright. I never know what to price my stuff ;u; Also let me know if you feel I missed something on my TOS and if you'd be interested in a FAQ or meet the artist kinda thing so my new followers can learn who I am behind mah arts since it's been a few years since I did that too <3

Also starting this month I have a new work schedule! At the mo my daily routine and work schedule are all over the place so this is desperately needed in order to get me back into a better lifestyle where I'm not staying up until 5am every morning and hopefully get me out of this weird rut I'm currently in lol xD

Mon-Thu = Owed art
Fri = Owed art &/or personal art
Sat-Sun = Personal art, gaming, family time, etc

Notes and stuff regarding work will also have to wait until weekdays, from now on I just wanna be able to chill on the weekends and do my own stuff and start seeing the family and friends again. I'll be updating my com prices, TOS, website, etc, soon. Will update you when those are done <3

Hope all of ya'lls new year has been good so far, at least for the most part ^^ Before I get into stuffs I wanted to take the time to thank everyone who bought something from me in 2019, you have no idea how much you all really helped me and my family, especially at the start of the year. 2019 was probably my lowest year so far. The end of the year did get better for us but all the bad stuff that happened throughout did take it's toll on me mentally and physically. But dun worry I'm not gonna bore you all with details but instead I wanted to bring up some changes and plans I have for 2020 xD

★ Of course my com prices need updating again but I was also thinking of switching currencies. I've been using USD for payments on here since I was on my original account back in 2013 but I'm actually from England and use GBP as my own currency. I tried changing over in the past but was told not to so never ended up doing so. But it's kinda unfair on me getting less in my currency when I'm already unpricing and struggling to sell my art as it is ya know :'D I hope you understand where I'm coming from with this ^^'

★ A new schedule for when I work on owed art and personal art but also when I open coms, ychs, etc. As it is at the moment, I'm only ever working on owed works and very rarely stuff I personally want to work on which also then contributes to my current mindset :S

★ I need to work on the time it takes me to finish things. As mentioned above and in previous journals I slowed down a lot in 2019 due to being emotionally and psychically drained. This is something I really want to work on because I always feel terrible when I keep people waiting for their coms and stuff ;u;

★ Improving my art in general is a big thing I want to work on as always. While my art has improved a lot since I started posting on my original account (bubblebutt532 for those interested) I still can't help but hate on the stuff I make because I know I can and want to do better.

★ I want to start streaming this year. I said this last year but I had so many laptop and computer issues throughout 2019 that I wasn't able to in the end xD I've got my laptop working again so I think it's time to try again lol Hopefully within the next month <3

★ More youtube stuffs. I was better at this in 2019 than previous years but would like to be able to post there at least bi-weekly. Speedpaints, animation memes, etc but I also wanted to finally get my animated series up and running. I'll probably also include an option to make speedpaints of coms on my new prices and include it in YCH autobuys, maybe animation meme coms too? but I'm already slow with animations so idk x3

★ More painting and crafts was another thing I said I wanted to do last year. while I did do some, most of the things I started never ended up getting finished.. again due to lack of motivation. I want to make lotsa cute plushies, mini figures and realistic paintings like I used to back in my school days lol

★ And lastly a small thing but I'll be discontinuing bouncy icons in a couple weeks and bop icons at the end of the year. I've been making bouncy icons since the start of 2014 so those are long overdue to stop but also because right now both my galleries on here and dA are like 70% pixel works and I hate it pff xD I'll probably make other icons throughout the year and do one last round for boucies in a bit but after that no more bouncy icons sorry :'D

There is a lot of other stuff I want to do that I'm forgetting as well as personal stuff like working on my mental health, working on me in general, learning stuff, etc but this is already long enough as it is.
I look forward to improving my art and myself this year and I hope you look forward too and stick around to see what I end up doing. I'll probably post a recap of things I did and stuff that happened in 2019 soon.

So update on tableto~ It's dead. It just won't connect at all and the lights not even coming on anymore. Riperoni :C So yar I can't do any digital stuff at the mo until I'm either able to get it working again or get a new one. I'll most likely get a new cheap one for the time being though, this ones been faulty for a while now anyways so I'm not getting my hopes up with it :S

Really really sorry to peeps who are waiting on digital drawings and pixels from me. It sucks but promise to get right back to them again when I am able to ;u;

Since I can't do anything digital at the mo, I can at least take some traditional stuff ^^ All funds will go towards my new drawing tablet as the one I have currently is completely busted now rip ;u;

EDIT: I tested it with my PC but it's not working on there either. It does the connected noise but immediately disconnects so I think the USB connection port thingy on the tablet is on it's way out. It was always buggy so that's not a big surprise but I can't get the tablet to work either way and I desperately need a working one to be able to draw and get muns so I think I'm most likely going to have to buy a new one :/

Sad :C I don't know what happened but it just stopped working all of a sudden. It was completely fine until it started cutting out and then poof.. I've tried restarting my laptop a few times cus that usually fixes it but nope. I've also tried restarting the driver but that didn't work either. I really hope it's not busted cus I can't afford a new one at the mo and I have arts to do ;n;

I have a white Huion 580 if you're wondering. It's done me well for the past 4 almost 5 years, it shall be missed if it dies :c

Also in other news I got a new sewing machine and have been messing around with it a bit as well as attempting to make my own plush patterns starting with a simple but super cute dolphin pattern :3 Been a good while since I made plushes and real excited to get back into it after all these years. Expect to see wips of my lil dolphins and other future plush projects <3
