So I got a Weasyl account, under a different username, which comes to my first point:

I don't wanna make a new account and transfer I got like 260 things here to transfer and FA I love you but your submission process is kinda shiiiiiiit aaaaaaaaa
But yeah, I'm gonna be slooowly working through putting my stuff up on there so woo here it is: CosmicTrashbag
I'll be skimming out a lot of junk though, mostly old refs and doodles and AU's that go nowhere etc.
It's going to be updated slow as heck, like maybe 10 pics a day? Eh, idk.

So I watched Beast Wars 2...

(Hey, if anyone wants me to review any other series I've watched I will if asked, this is just the most recent one)
So Beast Wars 2 is a japanese follow-on/extra series that happens in the same realm as Beast Wars (we assume, it's never stated in-show truthfully) and follows a team of Cybertrons (Maximals) and their enemies the Destrons (Predacons).
I suppose the best way to describe it would be.... okay.
The heroes are... kinda just what you'd expect from heroes which makes them fall a bit 'eeeh' for me. Generic stuff.
Bighorn being aggressively passionate was fun though, the Jointrons were a bit... excessive but humorous, Scuba was the master of not being around the whole episode but swooping in at the last few moments with the fix-all of the day, Tasmanian kid was "the young guy" and conveniently every new character in the show was also a good guy aside from the Seacons but they only hang around for a short while.
Lio Convoy is very uh... unlikable? I found him very just naaaah. Lio Junior appears as his son and super-convenient magic chosen-one two new guys apparently saw in a prophecy or something and came to Gaia/Earth to meet or something like that. He's just mega convenient.
Once more gives the good guys more members than the baddies (at least it wasn't AS bad as RiD01) but they hardly needed all this extra stuff when no matter how much the enemy "powered up" they always had the convenient fix-it/mcguffin to take advantage of.
The villains take it home and because there's less of them it's easier to talk about them.
Galvatron - The "lead villain" and "Emperor of Destruction" and.... total fucking softie. I shit you not. BW2!Galvatron is the WORST villain ever, not because he's poorly written or anything but because he's too damn NICE. The cruelest thing he deliberately does is "Hey we'll give you the parts to repair your ship but only if you help us out with these annoying Maximals". SO EVUL.
He literally will not hurt his own men even when they try to kill him, just because they "work hard" and "do their best", the only time he ever went after them he was under the influence of a drug that MAKES people attack both friend and foe so he wasn't even willingly doing it!. He's also complimentary to his own nemesis and tries to protect Lio Junior and also saves Lio Convoy's life twice....
Wait so why is he the bad guy? Because he wants the power to enforce peace. Yeah literally that's it.
I mean in the finale episode they try making him "more evul" by adding "taking over the universe" to the list but seriously given the way he acts i'd have just let him he'd have done a good job honestly.
Also he's smart enough to have just built an entire planet... yeah...
Megastorm/Gigastorm - Galvatron's younger brother and "Prince of destruction".
He's a little bratty shit and the one who is continually trying to kill his older brother because he's jealous and wants leadership.
Something Galvatron knows, but still continues to love him and show concern for him. (again SO EVUL)
He's just such a ass who thinks he's hot shit but as soon as it goes south he's running for his brother again.
I mean you know your treachery is bad when even Starscream calls you out on being a awful/horrible person for it and tries to stop you.
He only sort-of improves in attitude in the final two episodes when it clicks that people aren't going to take his bratty attitude anymore.
Starscream/Hellscream - This guy is like the weird lovechild of TFP's Starscream and Knock Out. He was supposed to be a devious backstabbing shit like all other Starscreams, and still sort-of is, but only towards Megastorm/Gigastorm.
Yep, he literally drops his "I wanna be in charge" schtick when he realises just how cushy he has it with Galvatron and how he hates his mean cruel-as-a-leader little brother. Even then he lets his loyal sidekick BB do most of the work for him while he fawns over his own looks and smarts.
Throughout the series he shows more and more adoration for Galvatron and even attempts a inspiring speech (interrupted by Gigastorm) about how Galvatron inspired him to be less of a selfish prick. (OMG isn't Galvatron EVUL).
BB/Max BB - He's Starscream's brawn-over-brain lackey whose vocabulary begins and ends with "Roger" but he's generally understood anyway (he gets one or two other one-syllable words but not much). Can't say much on him other than that honestly... He's loyal and flies into a rage if Starscream's hurt but he apparently does also call 'Screamer out sometimes.
Dirge/Dirgegun and Thrust/Thrustor - These two end up on the backseat a lot, they're dubbed "The Comedy Duo" by Starscream and are generally bad at everything they do. Even when being upgraded they don't do much sadly. (Dirgegun is a knock-off Dinobot in appearance). The most notable thing about them is that they don't like Starscream being so smug and better than them and try to out-do him a lot.
The Autorollers - Oh yeah, forgot about these guys for a moment. There's four of them and their one defining moment was having a plot that included a 'backstory' with one of the Insectrons and a episode where they helped the Maximals against a mutual threat. Other than that they don't do/say anything other than build things.
The Seacons are pirates who come to Earth for the "Angolmois energy" to sell for money. That's about it really. They don't go to either side but given they're pirates and 'wanted criminals' they lean more towards the Predacons.
Oh yeah the Angolmois energy is apparently what they're all fighting over, it's inside the earth, can apparently be "good" and "evil" despite being just energy and being submerged in it gives you a body upgrade/more power, which is how the Predacons get their new modes.
Oh and Galvatron straight up just grows when he eats it.
Also the Maximals win due to some "legendary thing" that has had no relevance in anything up until that point and despite being mega obvious no one but two-and-two together about this god-powered magic deus ex machina.
The whole 'battle' in this is basically
The good guys view:
Everyone will live in peace with no laws because we say so and "peace in all souls".
The "bad" guys view:
We want peace but we just want to have the power to enforce it when people try to destroy the peace.
I know, still, they're meant to be the baddies but... honestly the 'baddies' should've won...
Oh yeah and there's two androids in the moon who serve as SUPER annoying commentary butting in every now and then but also manage to be another convenient deus ex machina to help the good guys out in the end. Annoying.

How'd you get into Transformers?
Through the Bay films I watched the first one day decided I liked it, then lo and behold I found all of G1 on DVD... in a book store.
Bought it and got soaked on in.
Favourite show/continuity?
G1, it's just batshit stupid I love it. Yet has it's surprising deep moments like a whole episode dedicated to "Galvatron's not a violent sociopath he just has unchecked mental health issues and brain damage that are being pushed to breaking point due to his environment" like damn son.
I super love Armada (Cyclonus won it over for me there haha), Animated and Beast Wars too is great.
I suppose I do sorta have a soft spot for the Bay films still even if they are shitty.
Anything you don't do?
I won't draw IDW 'cos as far as I'm concerned it's a catastrophic disaster of shit. There are also certain ships that I won't do along with certain themes (Like incest, and forced sexual activities, etc, you know what I mean)

Extrication or the "Extriverse" is Transformers, but done by me.
As such it features redesigns of the main bots, a BUTT LOAD of headcanons, a tweaked story/time-line aaaaand some OC's.

So if anyone noticed the promised 'set amount of uploads' of 2-3 pictures a day in an attempt to catch up with all the art I forgot to upload here just kinda went "poof" and I just stopped uploading.
I am a serial procrastinator and I just stopped because I'd rather zone out over some 5-year-old crime documentary on youtube or something.
However, as I'm sure a lot of you are aware Tumblr is shooting itself in the foot because it's run by a load of dipshits.
It'll be banning all "adult" content and my main blog posts that so idk if I'm gonna lose all my accounts or if it's jut gonna delete all the posts? I have no idea
BUT
obviously, I am going to redirect people to alternate places to find me FurAffinity included and AS SUCH I really, REALLY need to get my act together and post all my art and catch up before the 17th of December so I can post the "Find me here"
so AS SUCH
I'm going to post as MUCH as possible beginning later tonight/tomorrow so you'll all get to see this journal and know what's up.

Transformers G2/NG AKA unwanted inspiration
Posted 9 years agoHah, I'm not even done uploading all my old shiz yet and here I am pestering with a new idea!
Anyway...
I've been seeing so many cute and adorable "Next Generations" for various series, and now my sad ass wants to join in with a "NextGen" but I'm a dumb asshole who makes too many characters and forgets about them enough as it iiiiisssssssssss. I was gonna just forget about it but then the annoying fucking shower thoughts started happening just now so I'm gonna spill my ideas and hope that after vocalizing them I either forget or lose interest. Though it is cute
So here's the ideas for "Transformers Generation 2/Next Generation"
This would pick up after the "Hate plague" episode and ignore/rewite that dreadful 'Headmasters' episode/three-parter-thingy G1 ended on.
So those that know me are aware I already have "next gen" OC's. Five to be exact.
So my shower thought/idea went like this....
When Cyclonus learns of his partner's carrying and the initial unbridled happiness calms down he get's worried about his offspring's future on account of the war and of how Chaar is rather limited on resources (apart from it's large geothermal potential). Preferring the leadership skills of Optimus over Rodimus, Cyclonus is more than happy to visit Cybertron to try and negotiate for a "Peace". The Autobots are aware of Galvatron's state and know Cyclonus isn't trying to pull one over on them, Cyclonus even points out other Decepticons seem to be following suit so it'd be of immense benefit.
Knowing of Galvatron's mental state (Something Cyclonus will still angrily snap at Hot Rod about) they devise a plan to set up a "Truce" claiming the Quintessons are amassing even deadlier weapons to destroy them and reclaim Cybertron. Optimus and Cyclonus hope that if a "truce" is made and kept up long enough both sides will settle down and sort of slowly integrate with each other until the war just... stops.
The Decepticons still keep Chaar and a teleportation unit between Cybertron and Chaar is set up. This way uneasy Decepticons can still keep away so can Galvatron until he's calmed down about the situation and until a way around his 'outbursts' can be figured out.
Thus begins a sort of weird and awkward truce where the Decepticons are allowed back on Cybertron under the condition of living and working together with the Autobots.
This also means some newsparks of now-dead Autobots are allowed to be rekindled and awakened. Surprisingly as well as Autobots volunteering the Sweeps with their cub-loving pack-mentality were more than happy to offer their services as adoptive parents/carers/babysitters.
A special sort of "fight arena" gets set up for Decepticons allowing temporary battles with Autobots (On the condition of no-killing) to help soothe down their aggression.
So the ships and Kids that kinda crawled into my brain along with this...
There's the obvious five
Cyclonus X Galvatron = Rupture, Paradrox, Cyclotron and Galvatt.
Motormaster X Scrapper = Contemptra.
Then there's the other ones
Scourge (G1) X Airachnid (Yes, the TFP character) = Bloodsport
Airachnid wasn't in the way of kids but like the Sweeps, Scourge started pining for his own. Airachnid agreed under the condition of Scourge allowed the newspark to come/grow from his body, while she thought he'd reject that idea he accepted. At this point she'd warmed up to his eagerness and kinda warmed up a little to the idea of a child.
Bloodsport is a bit of a daddy's girl as he utterly adores his sweet little 'cub'. She's a little try-hard because she feels the need to live up to Airachnids rather high-standards, her curiosity gets the better of her a lot though. She's an excellent hunter often being able to tell people apart just from the scent of their spilled energon, she collects bugs and either keeps them in jars or kills them and displays them. She has a bad habit of showing people them unexpectedly and trying to rip off Spider's legs.
Ironhide X Ratchet = Cleancut (The Cryo-storing is my excuse for characters who are canon-ly dead at this point having offspring.)
Sparked pre-Unicron incident, Cleancut's spark was removed and placed in cryo-storage so that one day when the Autobots were in a better position he could be fully-brought to the world.
Cleancut is a little embarrassed by his 'accent' and forgoes talking in favor of glares and using his rather mean throwing hand. He hates whining but is a very good listener and is a very good medic, capable of identifying the right chemicals needed for various, even non-medical, situations. He favors cold environments and is pretty adventurous but often has to cut back as he unfortunately has a weak immune-system and gets pretty sick often. Still a bit of a 'tough guy' though and tends to put people in their place when they act up.
Megatron X Optimus Prime = Guiltaur (He's actually a canon character, no lie)
They wern't strictly lying when they claimed the Quintessons were trying more ways to get rid of them. Re-trying their plan with Guiltaur they instead infused him with a fresh spark to keep the body alive with good reaction times but ultimately he was just a puppet. When he was encountered during one of the few/inevitable Quintesson incursions, instead of doing what Rodimus did and teaming up with Galvatron to defeat him Optimus realized there was a spark in him and used the Matrix to banish the Quintessons control. Guiltaur was taken back to Cybertron and is now being looked after by Optimus who does regard him as a 'son'.
Despite having the pre-built adult body Guiltaur is still a youngling/child and hangs out with the other children his personality and attitude developing with theirs. Just not his body.
He's a caring asshole. A bit of a prick he tends to think he's gonna be the best at everything he tries and tends to use more aggressive tactics than Optimus would approve of. Despite this he's oddly one of the most supportive jerks you could come across and is more than ready to defend his 'friends' with his life even if that's unnecessary (He'd still go on that he'd do it) he has a habit of getting his friends into trouble, y'know the kind of "Oh yeah X can do that easy! They could beat you at Y-thing any day!" and sort of signing them up to the challenge without their proper consent. He doesn't really mean anything bad like that he just tends to think his friends are the utter best.
Sunstreaker X Thundercraker = Thunderstruck (Yeah a certain fic kinda got me liking this ship and the next one.)
Spawned (like Wrench) from inter-faction fucking around and almost-romance but due to fears of "Not being ready" and some fears of being branded a traitor TS and Wrench were cryo-stored.
Pretty snobbish and likes to think he's generally a better person than everyone else he's the kind of douche that would bum cyber-cigarette's off his friends but not be a smoker. Pretentious art asshole too who hates getting dirty. The only exception is a fight 'cos he will sure as hell pull his weight when that happens.
Sideswipe X Skywarp = Wrench (So named because despite their teasing/torturing it was revealed sunny and sides actually had a fair bit of respect for Ratchet.)
An aspiring comedian Wrench adores anything to do with humor and relentlessly tries to prank his friends and often drags Thunderstruck into them, he knows full-well that TS enjoys his company. Far too energetic for his own good he has the bad habit of jumping anyone who has a jet alt.mode and wrestling them out of the air, or at least doing his best to hang on for as long as possible. He can sometimes be a bit oblivious as jokes and thoughts put out too fast can go over his head. He also tends to be a bit directionless and needs a push or someone to tell him what to do every now and then. Even tough he'll pretend to be rebellious about it. Friends with Cleancut.
Some other ships I'd half thought of
Soundwave X Jazz, they'd end up with a kid named "DJ" or something.
Sludge X Blot, they're both dimwitted and follow their leaders blindly. Sludge would be dimwitted enough to be oblivious to Blot's horrid hygiene. Love through stupidity I suppose, though to each other I guess they'd be matching/average. Tbh Sludge/Blot was one that crossed my mind a while ago I just forgot about it. Also fuck knows what their kid would be like. Stupid as hell but kind-hearted maybe, someone who is accepting of everyone regardless of differences as they'd have learnt to tolerate Blot. No name either 'cos damn this ship was kinda tagged on (Probably something super-simple like "Ooze" or "Spot" though).
If Grimlock had kids he'd probably have triplets named "Crash, Boom and Bang" because he's a doof.
I want to ship poor, lonely Cosmos with someone too (not just for this) because it's sad he gets left alone so much and I image that'd probably give him the mindset of "I want more than one kid" thing so he'd never be lonely again.
Wheeljack X Mixmaster, I've already said that I ship this but I kinda doubt they'd ever have enough of a 'liaison' pre-Unicron to make a newspark but if they did...
It'd be called something like Reactor (because that's the best science-y thing I can think of rn)
Reactor would be a little trail blazer who'd be the literal embodiment of "Anything's science if you write it down" and would do all sorts of crazy shit and would also sing with DJ a lot. Reactor would have boundless energy and infinite curiosity and would experiment with new chemicals and inventions all the time he'd have a 50/50 chance of something blowing up or something somehow turning into cement. Like Mixmaster he'd probably have a stutter just WORSE like every 3-4 words he'd stutter on, but he's too obliviously happy to care and just blazes on anyway.
Knock Out X Breakdown = Buffer ('cos y'know you use a buffer to make your car look nice and buff-er... yeah it's lame....)
Knock Out was pleased when his child confessed to loving beauty and pretty things. Less so when he found out that Buffer thought the art of fighting was the most beautiful thing. Buffer practices in all forms of martial arts and is almost always keeping himself in shape with near-continual yoga and tai chi. He can be chatty like KO but is as tough as Breakdown his idea of chatting-over-a-cup-of-tea is to chat while sparring. Surprisingly good at dealing with people's spinal problems.
Okay ramble over, now lets hope I got that out my system. Probably. Might be worth using it as a RP-group idea or something IDK, don't look at me bleh i'm trash...............

A hello and a notice of things to come

Anyway this bit here is a notice to say that for a while most of the images/fics I will be uploading are ones moving from my other account.
"New" material will probably be dropped in here and there but it's mostly transferring.
So yeah, now that's out the way, thanks for reading, don't be afraid to drop a comment or try starting a role play or something I'm game.
