So last year I was able to makenit to MFF due to work happening the same time in Chicago. Honestly I've been trying to have that happen for about 10 years. But finally it happened. I went for the day. It was my first con since AC 2010 I believe. I had a blast. I forgot how fun they were and had an absolutely amazing time seeing old friends that I hadn't seen in years. I was hoping to be able to make it back this year but unfortunately I won't be able to make it. The classes I was hoping for were not scheduled and I can't take it off for a few reasons. Such as being a lead technician and the construction going on there. So to those going have fun for me. I'll do my best to make it next year for the full con and will do my best to get back on my suit build.

Where to start. I say that because I truly have no idea where to start. Actually i do. As i write this im on my new phone and working to fivure it out. So please excuse the typos ect.

It was lacking in so many places for me. Like the script feel the subpar, they tried to add jokes to almost everything and everywhere they could, made a character to stupid he couldn't answer a phone, and the list goes on and on and on. Again this is for ME.

But now let's get down to the biggest issues for me. It lacked complete originality. They were so worried about the original ones that they fell flat on their faces.

Such as for me it's easy to get pulled into a movie. I mean, fuck, its the god damned Ghostbusters. But no. I felt it just was dragging amd dragging and dragging. I even got up to go a take a leak, i never do that durring a movie becauae i dont want to miss anything. But felt lile even if i left for 10min i wouldnt miss a thing. And guess what. I was right.

There was a spot where the baddie froze a bunch of people in what was clearly a dance pose and just left it at that. Granted in the credits they showed it. But i mean really. Dont just set something up amd leave it on the cutting room floor and use it as filler for the credits. Also why even set it up in the first place its not like its a musical or anything like that.

The cameos are also just pretty much horribly written and placed. Bill Murray's character in it is an asshole. Dan Aykroyds cameo is a Taxi driver that says a few things that fit the movie amd himself but its more of a 30 second one while Bills is a few min.

They mention that Home Land Security has been keeping tabs on the Ghost issue. I means that just seems to be pulling to try and keep it together.

The actors werent terrible but there was easily some overacting and subpar acting durring different parts.

If you really want to see it. Or save yourself a few bucks and rent it or syream it when it comes out.

I could go on but dont really feel like it.

In the emd i was disappointed and wouldnt really recommend seeing it. So its going to get a 2 out of 10 stars from me.

So yeah Just like what the title says I'm totally considering BLFC. for a few reasons. First is mainly friends. I've found out that I have a bunch of friends going and would love to see them either for the first time face to face or again. The second reason is Its been 5 years since my last con. So that had to change. I know. BLFC isn't until Mau but I figured I'd start figuring out stuff right now. While I still have time too. The third reason is again friends that are kinda pressuring me into going and that'll help me more.

The other thing id love to do this year is get Delta made into a full suit. And even get a harness for him. Because a otter with a purple harness would be cute.

Thinking about making a Draft Stallion sonna (because horse why not). Was thinking he'd be black with maybe a dark gray chest/belly and a brown mane and tail and green flesh and bright blue eyes. With a ring in each ear. (number of rings can change) Still working on a name. Thinking either Echo, Kilo, Serria, Tango. He'd be about 6' 5" and 235lbs of muscle.

His back story would be he's a home grown farmboy from North Dakota who grew up on his grandparents farm. After high school he enlisted in the Army and worked on a howitzer gun crew or a tanker. (maybe both as in he changed his MOS) After he was discharged from the Army he moved back to ND and took over his family's farm.

That's right I go out and GO hunting. With a gun and kill an animal. Dose that make me a bad person? No it dose not. Why? Because hunting is a GOOD thing. If it wasn for hunting we would have a over population on deer. If they are over populated that means there are health probles with the heard. Aka starvation. Plus the meat is used and the hide is donated to Hides for Habitat.

When I was young I would hunt gophers. Because my grandparents were farmers and the gopher holes are a danger to cattle. If they get a hoof in one and they brake their leg it has to be put down. And a cow is not cheap. They can be a few THOUSAND dollars.

Yes you read that right I started myself on fire. (that's the end of the short)

Here's the entire story.

What happened is obese at work and fleas cleaning my electric drill form all of the oil I had just got on it. The oil was from a cars skid plate that was covered in it from an oil leak. So I was spraying it down with the brake clean with the drill in my hand. It slipped and I went to catch it I clenched my hand andiit hit the trigger on the drill. When that happened it activated the drill and at that moment a spark started when the motor kicked in. It ignited the brake clean that was on the drill and my hand. I thre the drill down to the ground and thought that was that. BIT I felt a small amount of heat on my hand and lowered it to where I could see it. And saw that my hand was on fire.

I waved it about to put it out and got it out. I lost all of the hair on the back of my hand and it singed it up to my shirt sleeves. My drill is fine and works fine.

The funny thing is that I was about 3 feet from a hose with water, about a foot from a fire extinguisher and completely forgot about them. The STOP DROP AND ROLL stuff I completly forgot. But if I would have remembered it I would have rolled onto the buring drill on the ground. So I'm perfectly ok with forgetting about that one. One of the guys in the shop yelled "there's one right by you" but at the time I had NO idea what he was talking about as in the fire extinguisher.

I have some 1st degree burns on my hand and two small 2nd degree burns minus the hair. And within about 2 min or so I was laughing my ass off about it as well as making jokes about it.

Yes you read that right I've been waiting for THREE AND A HALF FUCKING YEARS for a commission form one artist here. I shal not name here but will call her FF.

I commissioned FF for two pieces in November of 2010 for a total of OVER $190plus plus a tip IN advanced. Yes you read that right over ONE HUNDERD AND NINETY DOLLARS PLUS. I know there was more but I am unable to remember the exact total def in excess of $200 that I am sure of.

Every time I send an email at fist it was "I'm working on it" or "could you resend me the info" I then posted a deal on the ARTISTS BEWARE page in the private/members only area after waiting about 1 year. Why the private/members only? Well I figured not everybody needed to see it. But I then get an email saying that it was "low""inconsiderate" and "rude" because I did and did not email FF at all about it. Also through all of this FF is opening for more and more commissions getting that art done nut not mine.

So after that I decided to just say fuck it and whatever but the longer I left it the more I realised that its not ok just just say that. But I would just push it to the back of my mind and not worry about it. To the point that iI forgot all about them and moved on.

Well that was all fine and dandy up until about 3 weeks ago. Why well I had nothing to do at work and came across the email when I decided to clean out the old emails and I came across it. Do I decided to email FF back and demand for them to be finished. And guess what happened. That's right I got no reply bit figured that I would give FF a week to reply. A week goes by and nothing. So I called FF out on Twitter. Why? Why not, there are a good amount of furs following me, 358 to be exact, and some of them are well know. Even if just 100 saw the tweets and told others that's over 100 that know. I told my side of the story and got replies saying to just demand my money back. But being the nice guy that I am I gave them 2 weeks. Well the two weeks were up on Wednesday of last week, June 19th 2013. And guess what nothing not a reply, email, PM or note here. So now I am writing this Journal for EVERYONE too see and just say WATCH OUT FOR FF SHE IS A THEIF. If you want to know who they are I will only reply in a note.

AS FOR YOU FF I HAVE OPENED A TT HERE AND REPORTED YOU YOU ALSO OWE ME AT LEAST $190 I WILL NOT ACCEPT ANYTHING ELSE THAN A REFUND PERIOD.

As for any admins reading I am more than willing to talk to you about all of this.

First thing let me make this perfectly clear WHAT HAPOENED TODAY WAS HORRIBLE. But it could have been so much worse. I do feel sorry for those in Boston and the ones injured or killed.

But from what I have seen watching the footage this is what i have seen... Again no disrespect.

1. It appears to have been a Black Powder explosive. The sheer amount of smoke that happened after and the "lack" of destruction to me says it was a "small" and "crude" device.

How? Well the fact that the main railing banner tore and the flags moved and that was about it says it was a "low" force. As in if it was say C4 the stuff would have been thrown and considerably mor damage and death would have happened with a lot more smoke. Also if they were trying to bring down the building it was not a high pwoered explosive. That's not to say that it was not a complex device.

2. There was no Ball Bearing, Nails, ect ect in it or there was a very small amount.

Why do I say that? Well think of how a Clamor mine is designed. It has ball bearing in it to inflect masive "damage." If there would have been stuff like that in it everybody that was standing by it would have probably been killed. Such as runners, the offices and spectators. CNN had a person that was as she said "I was about 30 feet away when it happened"

3. There was no credible Intel and nobody has "claimed" it to be them.

Why? From what I have seen if it was say a major terrorist organization the explosives would have been bigger, more complex and a lot more deadly. Plus who ever did this kept quiet as in didn't bring attention to themselves ect ect. If you've paid attention to the news most plots are found out about because of somebody saying something to somebody else.

4. If they wanted a massive victim list, as in deaths, it would have been at the Start line where 27,000 plus runners, staff and spectators where waiting for the start of the race.

Why? By the time the devices went off 17,000 had been reported to have already crossed the finish line. I won't go into more detail there as I'm sure you can figure that part out.

Again this is just from what I have seen on the news as tragic as it is. Just remember the city of Boston, the victims and their families in you heart's and prayers.

This year has had some interesting twists and turns in it.

Such as being fired and getting hired at a different shop within a few hours.

Ummm really that's about it for the major things.

So my dad and stepmom just picked up two puppies tonight, Nov 30th. They are named Sam and Molly. They are brother and sister and are both Golden Retriever, which is the best dog in the world, with a very small amount of Yellow Lab in them.

My dad asked if I could think of two names and I said Allis and Chalmers... As in the Tractor Company << >>. Mainly because he grew up on a farm and mainly because it was just a name that came straight into my mind. But he liked it as well as John Deere, he came up with that one lol. So yeah two new pups with a 2 year old kid AND a 7-8 year old dog as well. It's going to be one interesting house I'll tell you what

GREAT movie and possibly one of if not the best Bond movies EVER!!!!

it was just a simple Bond movie nothing WAY fancy but simple and a few gadgets no exploding pens or stuff like that.

And the ending OMG WOW I did not see that coming. I won't say what happens but It's possibly the most emotional scene ever for the Bond movies. But atleast it gives a lot of open-endedness for feature movies.

Needless to say after this movie AVENGERS is in second for the year on my list.

what happened was she was in a car crash and the car burst into flame. The thing that is really awesome is that I taught him when he was just a scout at the Boy Scout camp I use to work at.

So the past few weeks have been kinda hectic. With work and all but this month July IS the craziness of them all so far. This weekend Hunt and myself will be heading to our scout camp for part of alumni week and to celebrate ny day with the fam. Next weekend as in the 14th we head to Duluth to my cousins wedding the following day I leave for Chicago for work. I'll be the about 2 days I believe then its right back to work. The nicest thing is that I'll get to fly in a private jet that the Heartland Automotive Group owns. I've never been in a private jet before. And the final week of July is the family reunion that my dad puts on every year at his place on the lake.

But its been HOT AS ALL HELL HERE the past few days, ok more like 3 weeks or so it seems, to the point that today I thought as I walked out to my truck this morning to head to work that it felt like the Florida Keys with the temp and the humidity. But unfortunately the shop was worse for the temp we were all sweating our balls off. It's was a miserable day and tomorrow is suppose to be EXACTLY like today if not hotter.

So yeah other than that stuff nothing more going in here besides me turning 24 on Sat. Sooo what did ya get me ^^... Naw just joking.. but seriously.... Joking or am I?

Today 68 years ago was a major turning point of WWII for both the Axis and the Allied Forces.

Today is the 68th Anniversary of the Allied Invasion of Normandy. It is also a day known as A Day of Days or D-Day.

So my brand new ESC that I got fried itself today. Like all I did was plug in my new battery and bada Bing bada boom. It started smoking and spurting something that looks like peanutbutter. I didn't even turn the god damn thing ON!!!

So in the total time I've owned thus Slash 4X4, which is about a moth and a half or so, I've only been able to use it ONCE. I tries it the night I bought it but for about 2 min. The next time I tied it it would go. So finally on Wednesday I got my new ESC and now today when I went to use it this happened.

I'm pissed off and strangle depressed about this. I've but some good money into it to just have this happen.

This sucks SOO much.

I guess I'll just have to figure out what the hell is caseing this.
