Oh, hey. I'm still alive.

Hi, everyone who is still watching this page. Though I don't blame anyone for unsubscribing. I mean, it's been a couple of years now...
Anyway, life has been a little crazy for me for a while, with graduating college and securing a job as an ad designer at a newspaper, I never really had any time to draw, which made me fall out of practice, which made drawing anything I liked difficult, which made me want to not draw and therefore fall more out of practice.
Pretty much just a full circle situation of crap, to boil it all down.
I'm going to try to draw a little bit more (which is pretty much easy to do when the previous amount was flippin' zero) and get my full talents back, and then try to improve even more beyond that. So for now new submissions will probably be kinda crap until I get back into my groove.

Other than that, I'm gonna be working on saving money for a display tablet, so that I can make my digital drawing a little bit easier. Hopefully I'll have enough money by the end of the year to get something.

My new laptop came in today! :D
Now I'm currently trying to get used to Windows 8, since that's what the laptop came installed with. And then sometime later I'll try to get all my old files transferred to this new one. :3

I have to say: this is a pretty nice computer. X3

I'm currently using one of my parents' computers to post this.

My computer seemingly crashed yesterday. Rather badly, actually. And it won't boot back up.
I may have to get a specialist to look at it. And maybe even replace it, if it's not worth the trouble to fix it.

And right now I'm bored out of my mind. Guess my computer has become a rather large part of my life, eh?
Here's me hoping that everything turns out okay.

Suffice to say, I can't really work on any art right now while my comp is out of commission.

Sorry that I haven't been very active around here, art or journal wise. My personal life just got busier than usual because of work, so I've had less time for art. And any free time I've had, I've used for keeping up with all my news feed (facebook, youtube, at least checking the messages on here and FA), playing videogames, and reading the occasional fanfic update on fimfiction. <.<

So yeah, I've got some new art up! So you can check that. :3

I'm here to inform you that I'm stopping doing them on a daily basis.
Not to say that I won't do some of the remaining ones in the future...I'll just do the ones that interest me and I have an idea of what to do.

After doing about half of them, I've just gotten tired of drawing every. single. day.
And again, it doesn't mean I won't be drawing any more this month. I'll actually spruce up a few of these sketches I've got, and finish them as full-fledged art pieces. :3

As some of you may have already gathered, I have started on the Equestria Daily's Artist Training Grounds, where each day you draw as good of a drawing of a pony as you can manage in just one day, each day having a different theme. Some may be wondering why I haven't uploaded the second day yesterday (or maybe not, and you all just don't care :P) REGARDLESS, it was because my internet was all but dead yesterday, so I couldn't get my new drawing up on EqD in time. Or on here/FA. So I'll be putting up yesterdays' today, and scrapping day one's.

Also: my job is taking up all of my drawing time, so I may not upload the new drawings right away. I'll try to get them all up on the times that I do get them on EqD, whenever they allow the catch-up times for people who miss days of drawing, like I definitely will.

So, yeah, that's all I needed to say. ^^;

...just wow. I have no words about how great that show was, except for "That season ending was fantastic". X3

One reason it was great? Two words: VILLAIN SONG.
It reminded me of a friggin' Disney movie, which is great for me because I'm a big Disney fan. :3

Cool villain? Action scenes? Magical explosions? Check!
Can't wait for what is coming in season 3. : D But now we'll have to wait... :C

At least I've got Legend of Korra, Supernatural, and Doctor Who later in Autumn to keep me occupied. X3

Some of you may be wondering why I haven't made any art in over a month.
Well, other than the time I spend at work, I have had too many ideas for drawing, and I end up drawing some and then stopping and starting on another thing. Soooo pretty much like an art ADD. And it's annoying me that I can't seem to finish anything I want to draw.

Plus, I've been trying my hand at some writing too, so that is taking up some of my free time too, as well as depleting my reserves of inspiration.

Couple that with all the other stuff I do on the internet: watch Youtube vids, check Equestria Daily and fimfiction, and you get a picture of why I haven't updated much recently.

I know it's not much of an excuse, but I just wanted to inform those who watch me why I am currently inactive due to my not-being-able to finish anything recently.

So without further ado...

Feels like a year since I used the journal thingy here.

So how's everyone doing? I haven't really said that much for a while, and sadly have made art even less.
And I'm going to be trying to do more of the drawing, though.

...that is until I get Skyrim. I'm planning on getting a PS3 and a copy of Elder Scrolls 5 around Christmas. It may be a little earlier than that, who knows? But then I'll be playing that. And I'll pretty much not exist after that. :P

As for current art status, I'm working on drawing an anthro Big Mac right now. And I was wondering: do any of you have any preference on which MLP character I anthro up next? Because I have so many ideas right now that I can't choose which one to work on first. Which is hurting my drawing ability because I can't focus on drawing one thing XD

I'm pretty much open to drawing any canon character, just drop a comment for the one you'd like to see next. :3

No. I believe that narcotics are bad altogether.

[03] Abortion: for or against it?
Except for times where you have to choose between the life of the mother or the baby, I believe that adoption is ALWAYS an option over abortion. All humans should have the right to have at least some chance at life. Totally against abortion.

[04] Do you think a country would fail with a female president?
As long as she's a good president, don't see why not.

[05] Do you believe in the death penalty?
Yes. But only if convicted on first degree murder without any reasonable doubt.

[06] Do you wish marijuana would be legalized already?
As I mentioned earlier on the meth one, I believe that all narcotics are bad.

[07] Are you for or against premarital sex?
What I believe will never affect what other people do, but I'm against it. I believe sex is something that God intended for only married couples to enjoy.

[08] Do you believe in God?
Very much yes. When I see the massive scale of the universe, and see the complexity of even the smallest organisms, I can't even remotely come close to believing that all this just came together by itself.

[09] Do you think same sex marriage should be legalized?
Let me first say that the Bible does speak out against homosexuality, and while I don't know why God would create people with the tendency to become homosexual, I'm more of a libertarian in this respect. I believe that since this is a free country, that gay marriage would be okay, as long as it is not then made a hate crime to say that homosexuality is a sin. But I also believe that government should really have no say in marriage, since government benefits in marriages that are being denied to gays is what is creating this fiasco in the first place.

[10] Do you think it's wrong that so many Hispanics are illegally moving to the USA?
Yes. Open borders can only work if the country with said borders is not a socialist state. If people can just come in and get free healthcare, welfare, and such without paying taxes, it costs the country millions and maybe billions of dollars, since there's no way to track how many people are coming in. If we want open borders, we would have to remove many government programs that give money out to people. You can't reasonably have both.

[11] A twelve year old girl has a baby, should she keep it?
I can't tell the 12 year old what to do unless I was her parent, but for the baby's safety, I would suggest adoption.

[12] Should the alcohol age be lowered to eighteen?
I really don't care. People can vote, smoke, and go to the army at 18. It's not like it'd make people drink less, it'd just be legal then.

[13] Should the war in Iraq be called off?
I must say that war is never a good thing, but it can also be a necessary evil. With this I say no, we should stay. Let us never forget 9/11, where an enemy came into our country and ended the lives of 3000 Americans. We have to keep the heat on the terrorists, otherwise they may be able to regroup and maybe even recreate another 9/11.

[14] Assisted suicide is illegal: do you agree?
Yes. Assisted suicide is such a slippery slope, and I disagree with suicide anyway.

[15] Do you believe in spanking your children?
Yes. Spanking is not meant to beat your children, it's meant to show that there are always unwanted negative consequences to certain actions. I don't believe that giving a child a "stern talking to" is enough, since it really doesn't make the child regret doing what they did. If you don't show your kids that there is consequences to everything, whether good or bad, they'll find out later in life. And the outside world is much less forgiving.

[16] Would you burn an American flag for a million dollars?
No. The flag is not just a piece of cloth, it's a powerful symbol of the country it represents. Flag-burning is a powerful expression of hatred and I would never do it, Because I love my country.

[17] Who do you think would have made a better president? McCain or Obama?
I REALLY didn't like that I had to vote between those two. McCain is not a far right politician, but I had and still would pick him over Obama. Lesser or two evils, and also Palin was the VP, which I like because I agree with her on alot.

[18] Are you afraid others will judge you from reading some of your answers?
I'm not very good with explaining my thoughts in great detail, but hopefully no one would think of me differently, since most people would expect this from me anyway.
And if someone did judge me, I don't care.

Couple of weeks ago I decided on a zero-tolerance policy on watching artist who have drawn porn.

Soooo that's about 4-5 people I think that I unwatched. But if what you drew on FA is not on your dA that I watch as well, then you're still being watched by me on there.

Hopefully you understand my decision, and I won't hate you if you decide to unwatch me on FA as well.
