Hey, 9 years on FA and my third journal in total, I am a productive person as you can no doubt tell. So basically I'm relocating to Furry Network, I've removed my art and uploaded it all at beta.furrynetwork.com/sweek.

I'm not gonna go into a full on rant here, but the short version is that FurAffinity has been stagnating for years, and every time they have a massive fuck up I think maybe I should go elsewhere, and then I never do because;

a) it's a hassle
b) it's still the biggest furry art site around
c) I follow a bunch of artists that only post stuff here

This whole debacle with passwords was the final push, annoyingly it means that I'm not going to be able to follow some of the wonderful artists here, but I'm sure you know the saying about omelettes and eggs, and contributing to the complacency of users here isn't going to make the site grow or evolve, ultimately it's time to give the alternative a try.

So if anyone following me is on FN as well, by all means seek me out and follow there, I also shitpost my random thoughts on Twitter (@sweekbat).

Finally got around to uploading the various commissions I've gotten over the last year, and being the complete derp I am they're in no particular order, kinda points out how badly I need a ref sheet though since the pics of Sweek in my gallery are pretty inconsistent.

Also 6 years between Journal posts! Be sure to check back in 2022, maybe I'll have written a decent profile page by then :P

Haha, look at me updating my FA account for the first time in over a year with NOTHING! Finally got rid of that 'your account has been hijacked' message. Frankly it was getting on my nerves a bit.

So it's 8am, I'm listening to Hendrix and rummaging through empty fruit juice cartons for any form of liquid remaining, not yet ready to face the day or the 7 hour train trip ahead, going back to Wales for my bi-annual family visit. A bit of a downer on it though, since it's my gran's funeral tomorrow. I've never actually been to a funeral before...I'm not sure what you do. I've been advised by friends to sit down and not say anything, which is gonna be challenging enough.

I've decided that I want my funeral to be entertaining. Seriously, it seems like a really boring send off to have my family and friends sat there in silence as a handful of people talk about me. I'm not sure how I'd improve it, although fursuits would be fucking funny! Or possibly a game of musical pews. I may be dead, but I still won't be a stiff ;)
