StraightTalk is a piece of shit, didn't realize they pulled the money from my account on different dates every month. Told me it would be the 22nd. mini art hiatus
Posted 15 years agoseeing art from me might be scarce for a while guys. I'm not sure how long. My shoulder's acting up again. two days of dirtbiking last weekend, and I break myself. go me. I didn't even fall on it or anything. If some of you might recall, I went through this about 2 or 3 months ago, injured my shoulder at work. Well I let it heal up and I figured I was good to ride my dirtbike that Rhett bought me for my birthday last month. He just fixed it this past weekend. Little did I know that all the movement and tensing up my arms would lead to reinjuring my shoulder.
I went to the doctor's and was told that it was "muscle pain," but there is absolutely no way that its just muscle pain. Muscles don't click, pop, and grind. Yes, my muscles are inflammed. Its obvious. When you touch my shoulder, you can feel its INSANELY swollen.
What my parents are assuming is that there is a piece of cartilage that broke off and is pretty much floating around in there, getting itself wedged in my rotator cuff from time to time. Hence the popping, clicking and grinding I feel and hear when I move my shoulder. Also why I have pain going from my neck, across to my other shoulder, and down the left side of my back. Also, from the base of my ear down to my wrist hurts constantly as well. I'm to the point where even sitting in a chair is unbearable.
All we can do is assume until monday, which is when my boyfriend will be taking me to a hospital that has a very good reputation as far as reliable doctors. Hopefully I can get this issue resolved once and for all.

Posted 15 years agois it immature of me to miss my boyfriend when I'm 2 hours away from him? even if I come home for 3 days out of the week, every week?
is it really that immature of me to fear leaving after having an ex who probably would've left me and cheated on me and blamed me for it if I ever lived 2 hours away from him?
Is it that horrible that I wish I could just be around him, all the time? especially since I'm so used to being with him everyday?
I honestly have no reason to doubt or worry with Rhett, I know he's there and he always shows up every friday to pick me up and bring me home. Its becoming routine now and it isn't as hard to deal with, but yes, I did have some trouble with adjusting the first couple of weeks. Admittedly, since my roommates and I don't get along and I hardly see the few friends I've made at college, I still want to come home. All the time.
Also, why, WHY FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, do people always presume "I miss my boyfriend" means "I just wanna go home to shag him"? For christ's sake it doesn't. I was in a relationship that revolved around that shit. My ex, every time he said "I miss you" it basically meant "i miss you for the sex." since apparently that's all i was good for. the fact that i did everything to try helping him get his license, a job, an apartment, ect. yeah

Also, I'm just completely turned off from commissions after seeing some bullshit go down where my art was involved. New policies..
If you commission me, and want changes. I will make 2 changes for free, after that I will be charging $3 per change.
Make changes yourself if you'd like, but if the base I provide you with is changed to look like anyone else's design I will flip the fuck out. Don't use MY artwork (even if you paid for it, I don't give a shit honestly) to be low enough to rip someone else's design.

Posted 15 years agoso I'll be active tonight and tomorrow. but from friday til about monday, I can't guarantee that you guys will see much of me. ITS MOTO WEEKEND FOR ME..and my ever so lovely boyfriend, and my parents...and my brother.. and my uncle.. and my moto friends.
FOR THOSE WHO DON'T KNOW I ride dirtbikes with my boyfriend, brother, dad, uncle, and all of their friends who are now MY FRIENDS!! and since tomorrow is my last day for my REAL JORB...I'm celebrating by going to the local fair with them and watching a freestyle motocross show, then going away for the weekend to Unadilla to watch a motocross race featuring some pro guys, go camping that night, and then ride dirtbikes on sunday!! I MIGHT RIDE IDK IT DEPENDS ON MY SHOULDER. Its still dislocated. lskdfdg ;n;
So commission work for my two commissioners tonight, while trying out something art-program wise. I was also talking to a friend of mine that majored in illustration, and still dabbles in the business, and she told me I need to make some major adjustments to my commission prices and I'm majorly underselling myself. But in that case, so are a lot of artists! BUHH. I'm gonna take her advice though, I suppose...after this batch anyway. q__q

My photoshop refuses to open up like, half of the file types that it would normally be able to work with. files similar to .png and .gif are NOT available in this list of file types to save as or open. I have no idea what happened, I went without my macbook for a while. When I did manage to get it back and use it (since Rhett set up wireless at his house for me and his mom to use) photoshop was basically cracked out as far as opening/saving. omg. I don't even.
the photoshop I have was downloaded off the internet. So possibility of reinstalling is just nonexistent. Could anyone link me to a newer version of photoshop, full download, for Mac? q__q maybe like CS3 or CS4 (I tried CS5 for all of like 3 minutes and hated it. I'm making preparations to start making a fursuit of my fursona, Talla. I've been reading up on tutorials via the fursuit comm on LJ, as well as other tutorials I've found by just browsing through fursuit makers' websites and I'm gonna be making some trips to some fabric stores and whatnot to buy foam, hopefully this week. AND HOPEFULLY I DON'T MAKE A DISASTER OUT OF ALL THIS. HAHSJKDSF.
But yeah, anyone have any tips they could share? q__q once I start working on shaping the head and stuff I'll start posting WIPs on LJ and my tumblog, but sdjfksg I am so scatterbrained about everything I'm just like WHAT LOL For now I'm just going to make a partial suit I think? Yeahhh.
I'm hoping to have this completed by the end of the month? THINK ITS POSSIBLE? LOL

Posted 15 years agoHI HAHA okay this is weird to start off with but I had a panic attack last night (GAD you are such a bitch of a disorder to have ugh >8c ) ? Yeah I'm running on about 2 hours of sleep but as a result of said panic attack I've actually been knocking some owed art off my listttt.
SO I AM NOT AS AFRAID TO SHOW MY FACE AROUND HEREE.

Posted 15 years agoSO UM I was going to save up money to buy myself a fursuit of Talla. HOWEVA a part of me wants to make it myself? as it might be fun and a good way to focus my energy on something..other than wanting to THROW THINGS. Yeah a lot's been going on again. Long story, I'd rather not get into it. Plus its something that only I and one other person can sort out so its not even worth getting into. So aside from FINALLY GETTING MY PC AND TABLET TO WORK IN HARMONY AGAIN SO I'VE BEEN WORKING ON OWED ART..I've been looking for another project for myself. Fursuit seems like a pretty good option lol.
SO UM. I NEED!! ADVICE!! TIPS!! ANYTHING!! lol seeing as I've never built any sort of costume or anything in my LIFE I am so lost. I mean I'm looking up things myself but lol I'm just like...uhhwuuuuuutt??
