I just saved my furry behind by getting my (dumb) cat insured 2yrs ago. $15 a month just saved me for $2.200 in vet bills. For a fractured elbow, that he got, from jumping down from the friggin dining table. This does not include any future meds or fixes btw. The 2.2k is simply in diagnosis appointments. So we'll see what happens when i exceed my insurance at 3k lol.

I won't ask for money, because my 9-5 job somehow manages to cover my copays and other bills for now. Just, please get your animals insured - I fear what I had to have done if I somehow was expected to come up with an extra 3k within a months notice

When we last left off I was just about to move into a new apartment and in general was a bit stressed. Now I can say I have lived in the new place for almost a year and it's sooooo chill here. It's pretty much the first place I have ever lived that I feel completely safe. The neighbors are friendly but not nosy, the cat have finally settled in and I am not scared of him running away. the internet is amazing, as it's 100/100 fiber. Compared the the 5/10 at the old place. I have also got a job! i start in August as a fulltime plumber apprentice and will work mainly in industry and new buildings, so I am really looking forward to that as I've always wanted a physical job.

For drawing I switched drawing sofware, and the new one feels more streamlined compared to Photoshop. And don't get me wrong, PS was amazing, but I used about 10% of the software. With Krita I feel like I am using 80% of it and it's much more laid out for my style of drawing/painting, so everything is easy to find and not hidden behind multiple menus. Adobe did charge me a $40 fee for stopping the subscription tho -_- So if anyone is interested I'll gladly do some drawings to re-coup that cost.

Figured I'll give a quick update! I have been extremely socially drained as usual, this is because I chat a lot more on other places now (mainly telegram and a bit discord), so I don't engage as much on art sites atm.

But; Moving funds are saved up! yay. I managed to get around $500 from my parents, and then saved up the last 1k (had 500 saved). which is good! Because I move at the end of this month, and so all my cash will go towards rent as I that is also a thing lol. On the positive side I will get internet that is able to upload stuff at a decent pace. Currently it takes about 5min to upload something, and if it doesn't end up being timed out it's usually of poorer quality than I am used to. So looking forward to being able to voice chat, game and possibly even stream again.

On the downside, my PC is starting to struggle and stutter - so that is not a good sign D: I really hope it managed to keep going until I have a solid job with regular income again, because with the new rent there is no chance of being able to save up for anything. So far it seems to run fairly normal as long as I keep it cool with an extra fan, and a couple of keys on the keyboard will start and stop at random intervals. As well as struggling to start up some times. But I have backed up all my important documents and photos of my old pets, so if it goes it goes. I'll just have to do traditional art or knit/crochet then and watch netflix/YT on my phone :D

A slight art block is still plaguing me, but I think it was made much worse worrying about finances, so now that I have the deposit ready at least - I feel such a relief. Honestly I did not believe I was going to make it, but luckily June is also tax free month here, so I got an extra $200 simply by not having to pay tax this month :D And that put me just into the green. I am looking forward to what the future brings, even in the year of 2020. I hope it will make a similar trend as 2018 and 2019 for me where the first 4-6 months where the absolute worst of my life so far, and then the end of it just got surprisingly good and I made big strides in my health and personal life. I hope the rest of 2020 will bring some happiness and good changes for all you <3, you definitively deserve it for reading this far hehe.

Hello lovelies!

I have decided that I need to move, I have thought about it for a long time, but hoped I would be able to get an apprenticeship as a plumber, and then move with the new pay. Due to the pandemic no companies offer any new positions (understandable), and the people who help me apply and navigate the job world are currently overloaded due to the high rise in unemployment. Now I am one of the lucky ones, I get paid unemployment and I will continue to receive that until I start in an actual job. However, my living conditions are not ideal at all, and I risk loosing it all together if I do not move soon. I have enough month to month to pay my rent, bills and food - but the deposit for the new place is $2k, while I only paid $300 here, so I will get that back, and I already have $400 saved up, that is still not enough though. I will need the deposit within the end of 3months, so I am turning to commissions in hope that I will be able to get some extra cash from that, while also tightening my day to day budget :)

I understand that everyone have it rough right now, and I hope that nobody feels obliged to commission me or guilty that you cannot do that. But if you like my art, and do have some spare $, then I would love to draw for you <3

Figured I needed to do a journal update as I've had my new sona for a while now :D

I am still around, but it's hard to explain, maybe we can call it "zombie" mode? I easily sleep for 16h a day and are just as tired as I was when I went to bed. Been like this the last 3 yrs, but we have finally sorted my mental health (by me I mean me and the doc/therapist), so we now know that there is no mental health reason behind the sleep issues - so moving on to other things xD So yeah that is basically the main reason why I don't draw much at the moment. Really hoping to get it sorter within the year, because I love drawing, and I mean LOVE, but like only for 5min at a time currently and that is no fun. So been playing planet zoo instead and knitting.

Also, real life update (as if the above wasn't), I have found an extremely wonderful group of local furs.
We hang out and play games etc, and it really have gotten rid of most of my social anxiety if I am honest. So I am doing great socially irl, but that also means I am less likely to initiate conversations online. I still love my online friends, and I hope nobody takes this as me not wanting to chat with you, I do! I just am shit at taking contact. So if you want to chat I am here, just a little slow atm

There have been some pretty big breaks of silence from me, so I just wanted to make a quick journal saying I am here, and thank you for all the faves and watches I have received <3

I have been quiet for multiple reasons, one is that I started knitting again, and that have kinda completely consumed any spare time I had. I have also been very social IRL which leads me to be less social online. And now the last 2 weeks Planet Zoo was launched so I have done nothing but build habitat for cute little fluffy critters.

I have avoided drawing for another reason; I am in one of those "self loathing" dumps. I do not hate my drawings, but I do not like them, and I am not happy with the end results for more than maybe a few minutes. This have lead me dread drawing as I know I need to spend time on something to make it good, but also I hate spending time on something and then realize it's bad. Which is why I have just preferred knitting as I know as long as I follow the pattern it'll be good.

I am making a new sona, friends have helped me get started with species and colours and theme, and it's just up to me to actually put it together, but I hope finishing her will give me the inspiration I need to continue.

Any mistakes or missed markings on my part I'll correct. but make sure you send me an up to date ref or easy to read description, as I do not take the blame for missing a marking/part I do not know exist. If there is corrections needed to fix things I was not made aware of from the start, especially if it's late stage in the commission (i.e shading stage), then a small fee might be added to cover for the extra time I have to spend on it :)

Just wanted to write a short journal that while I don't thank for watches and Favs I really do appreciate them! I mainly keep to myself, so won't really reply unless spoken directly to/asked a question. That doesn't mean I don't want you to take contact, please do, I'm just not that extroverted that I do it myself very often ^^

For now I am mostly active on Deviantart - which I never would have guessed just a few months ago, but I found some nice communities there ^^
Also discord, I'm online there 24/7 (Morisith#5742 if you want to add, but please say hi if you do as I don't want only lurkers on my list ).
