Had a really rough couple of years and irresponsibly bailed on my hobbies and responsibilities. Trying to brush it all off and get my head back above water. Il be looking to open up commissions again in the same quality of the last few ones I uploaded ( so relatively simple ones ) to ease back into things and get back at least some financial stability. Will likely be a bit rusty. (Been making myself little personal emotes and icons as low-impact practice though c:)
Not sure if I will limit commissions to a theme (e.g. kinda keen on the idea of cocks, cockvore, lots of cum atm, want to try it), or do a YCH type of thing first. Il see. Just putting this out there for now as a heads up.
Need to sort out how it will be priced as well... Inflation is one hell of a force and ive always felt bad charging too much.
If there were any projects I did not get started on due to the sudden nature of my disappearance, you get top priority when I open, if you are still interested after all this time (please dm me! Or i will find you and dm you first)

Can go lower if you want a cheaper quicker colored sketch, if the idea is simple, or if it shows less of a character (e.g. bust or above, mawshot, a penis). Can also go a bit higher if you want more full body characters or more complex scenario.
Pretty flexible, but prefer vore or gore (or both!) related content. Anime style characters also welcome, trying to get better at those.

I think he does a great job at researching for his podcasts and the voice is not too annoying. Great for listening to while doing work as the episodes are nice and long. Of course the ads are annoying but they gotta make money somehow.
If anyone else has recommendations for crime, forensic pathology, or other horror related podcasts (i like ghost stories too) that are reasonably long, please do share! Ive already listened to all of the casefile ones over the course of this year.

Your character drawn as an insect? (closed)

I have not touched my tablet in ages as I have been busy with research-related work, and that research involves a lot of insects and other invertebrates.
However at the moment there are not many samples coming in for me to go through, so was thinking about opening for a few commissions since the research stuff will be a bit sparse until November.
Since I am in the mood for invertebrates, would anyone be interested in me drawing their character as an insect or other invertebrate? Or draw their character in a situation involving invertebrates?
There are some pretty cool-looking tachinid flies out there, plenty of awesome parasitoid wasps, and tons of really cute weevils among other things.
Its a bit niche but just seeing how much interest there is. Will put out an example at some point and work out prices/how many hours spent per image.

Is there a way to filter out maybe the word 'reminder' when browsing the front page?
I also find it kind of weird that people would charge a lot of money for things they didn't draw. Eg: Using a base drawn by someone else, putting colors on it, then selling it with a very high autobuy price. Then they repost the reminder every 4 hours daily. But thats just me, maybe i'm old fashioned and don't understand this way of doing things. I suppose if there is a demand for them then good on people for taking advantage of that demand.

Curious about Russians
Posted 8 years agoIve noticed that a lot of users who post stuff on the times that I am on are almost all Russian, especially the ones that post YCH reminders. I clicked on about ten users and only one didn't appear to be Russian.
Have there always been this many Russian users on FA? If not, where did they come from? Did a Russian furry site get shut down? If yes, then maybe i just wasn't paying attention. Or maybe everyone from around the world who can speak english just like coming to FA because it has high traffic and is good for getting an audience.
If you are Russian, let me know what brought you to FA. Im really curious.
I know at my University sometimes there is a sudden influx of people from other countries, eg: Brazil, because they have government programs where the Brazillian kids can come to New Zealand to study. I like people from other countries, and im always curious as to why they came.

Cancelling doing commissons again
Posted 10 years agoI feel really bad about this, but honestly I just don't feel like working on big commissions anymore.
Ive done this once before and I am sorry for everyone on the waiting lists that I have let down.
Im just struggling with mental health as well as university. I am also trying to get into other hobbies. The thought of sitting down for hours into the night working on digital art commissions just doesn't get me excited anymore, and i almost dislike the thought, unless it is the odd personal project that is quick to finish.
I will however consider taking smaller cheap less detailed sketchy commissions once in a while. The people who have previously been on a waiting list and did not get their art because of how much of a loser I am will take priority when I decide I want to do those.

Quite a lot of monsters and characters that I have made over the years have made no evolutionary sense, so I cheat in their backstory, often making them boring old "science experiments gone wrong".
How does your OC/OC's come to exist in its world? Is it a part of a physical species that lives on a planet and came about through natural selection, or did it come into existence some other way?
This includes common species like wolves, but with weird neon colours and patterns. How did that occur? Is it artificial (dye, modifications, etc) or genetic?

Posted 11 years agoAs some may have noticed I have not produced anything in the last couple of months or so. I was just enjoying my time off a little too much.
I am back in business now, and I will get in touch with the next people on my commission list once I settle down and finish a couple of personal works I owe to friends and my partner.
