Posted 3 months agoSome of you may know that I was recently laid off from my comfy job.
It sucked, I was completely lost. I was flailing in every direction, trying to hold on to the past.
Sleepless nights, thinking about the future.
I immediately started applying for jobs... but gave up after the first interview.
“Is this the life I want to pursue?”
It was okay, but not fulfilling. There was this empty feeling I had learned to repress.
“What would you love to do, even if the pay wasn’t good?”
The answer was ART. Path I was always told I can't pursue.
So I did what others said was right.
They were adults, they must’ve known better. And just like that, my life passed me by.
Im in my late 20s, Im young, but time won't wait for me and I don’t want to wake up one day regretting I didn’t have the courage to take life into my own hands.
That’s why I’ve been more active lately. I’m going all in, and yes, furry art is what I’m focusing on.
When my resources run out, I’ll gather them again and go all in once more.
I don’t want a comfortable life.
I want a fulfilling one, no matter how long or short it may be.
I’m anxious and scared. I cry a lot.
But this is what I’m choosing.
If you made it this far, all I ask is a few kind words. It would help, but I’m not depending on it. I’m doing this anyway.
