Commodity and where I've been.
General | Posted 8 years ago I'm from Puerto Rico. If you didn't know, on September 6th the island was grazed by hurricane Irma. Before the island had fully recovered, a second hurricane (Maria) ravaged through the island in its entirety. My home lost its power for 5 months. This means my life has been in a sort of stasis, a period in which I've been unable to follow through with my plans for/in life. Without internet, without power, without running water, without signal, without means to contact friends or family, trees n the roads, lines for gasoline hours long only to be sold $10's worth, unable to brush my teeth, shower, do do dishes comfortably, a lot of commodity was lost.
Thankfully a great friend of mine from Maryland offered me a stay with him. His family took me in and largely made me feel at home. I was there form November until Mid-February. That friend had to pursue his own future which I personally encouraged him constantly to pursue. I left because I didn't want to get in his way. Now I'm in Idaho, further from home, but with another pair of peeps that have given me a place to stay while things back home go back to normal. I'm eternally grateful to these friends.
There's a lot of space where I am now, a constantly accessible PC (which isn't mine) that I can use when its owner isn't actively using it. It's allowed me to comfortably open for commissions again. I don't know when I'll get to go back, when things will be normal again, but for the time being kind, caring friends are doing the best they can to make me feel welcomed and loved.
This s a general update for any who are interested in why I've been so scarce lately. I haven't and still don't always have full accessibility to the commodity I'm used to, so I've been focusing on myself more. It's been weird being gone, seeing all that I've missed, the fear of having missed out on opportunities is strong. The time to make up for it will come, at least! Thank you for taking the time to read this, if you have. It's been rough, but ask anyone that knows me, I've kept my chin up through it. Upbeat durrg is still upbeat~

Ordering:
-Contacting me via notes is the most reliable and most favorable way to to reach me for a commission.
-For ease in the process, please do not delete previous parts of the note. It will make keeping all information in place easier.
-Make sure the references and details provided are all up to date and accurate.
Payment:
-PayPal is my only payment method.
-I will send the payment request.
Progress:
-I will constantly update my commission queue. You can keep track of the progress here: (Commission Queue)
-I usually answer notes and give updates quickly.
-If you wish to add me on an Instant Messaging service (such as Discord or Telegram,) inform me in a note and I'll readily report progress on images directly.
-Pace in progress is significantly slower on weekends.
Fixing Mistakes:
-If you notice any mistakes on a completed piece, please do not be afraid to tell me about them! They happen, and I'm willing to fix them. I want you to be happy with your piece.
-I will fix anything that I missed that was clearly referenced in your description or reference sheet for free, as this is my mistake!
-Extra charges for fixes are rarely needed, but may apply if you decide to add anything too large to the image or to change anything that was not discussed prior.
Posting:
-You may re-post the piece that I've made (only) in a non-commercial setting. If you wish to do otherwise, discuss with me prior!
-Please credit back to my FA when posting!
Refunds:
-No refunds.
-I will start the day the payment is received!
DISSATISFIED?
-Please, if you are unhappy with the piece I've done for you, note me about it at your earliest convenience.
-If I cannot fix the image you've received, I will offer a discount. Though I must also warn that if this system is ever abused, I will blacklist you as a client. I will dedicate my best effort into producing something you are happy with.
-My aim is to bring your ideas to life, so if you are not satisfied, let me work with you to fix that!
-If for any reason you mishandle your discontent with the piece and comment on the matter publicly before ever coming to me, this will no longer be viable. I respect you as a client, please return that sentiment.

New Watchers
General | Posted 9 years agoSo its' funny to me that in a period of inactivity I'm gaining more watchers than when I have tried to post art. I say this because my PC died recently and with it my ability to make art. Don't fret though, my new rig is being built as of writing this note, and should be ready soon-ish (just missing the GPU.)

Due to that fact I believe nothing I do is worth posting because I leave it all as WIPs regardless of how close it gets to starting proper line-work (orwhateveryoucallit). Friends are telling me to post it regardless, because it's all post worthy. "Just put it in scraps" they say. But I'm not too sure I want to.. I can guess what the comments on this will be, if any. Just wanted to get opinions. I don't really write journals that often so there's that too.

Expect a few things in the upcoming weeks since I have quite a few unfinished drawings that don't need much to get done~ (dem WIPs) Thanks to all who have stayed as my watchers for these years of inactivity. <3
