CFz 18 + Starting over

It's been a while since I updated anyone (or posted on FA) so I thought I'd give a bit of an update ^^
So I finished my masters and graduated in November which I'm really pleased about, it was a tough year! I've been working in seasonal retail for the past 3 months which has been alright, but very busy until the past couple of weeks!
I'm now reduced to contract hours, so I'm looking for a job in animation (hopefully in London or Bristol). Until then I'll be sticking around my hometown and working retail until I get a job in animation or can afford to move to improve my chances. I'm just about done with all my backlog now (both commissions and professional stuff) so I'll be finishing off the last of my trades and probably doing some personal art (or taking on more trades) or I'm not sure what yet, really!)
I'll be going to Confuzzled this may, myself an
just regged :D and I missed last year so I'm honestly so excited for it!
As for changes, most of my art on FA is at least 6 months old, so I'll be placing all of it into my scraps to encourage myself to draw more (at least until I have filled up the 'recents' with new art :)
I'm also going to stop being so precious about what I upload here, I was reserving FA for just my best art, but that just makes me never upload here, haha xD So I'll be posting digital and traditional from now on and trying to keep up with it all ^^
Either way, I hope everyone is well and I hope to see more of you around soon :D (definitely come poke me if you're going CFz and want to meet up sometime ^^)

Sorry for the inactivity, I'll be trying to post here a lot more from today! This past year I've been studying for a masters in 3D Animation and it was awesome! But as you can imagine, cramming a masters into just 1 year meant I was super tied up all the time and barely had any time for art or furry stuff! (I get my grades on Friday which is a little nerve wracking o:)
But yes, for now I've moved back to my hometown and I'll be staying here until the new year to save up money and recover from the crazy year, so hopefully you'll be seeing a lot more from me! :)
I'll try and keep up with posting work as I do it now, as the work up here is getting old now and I've not put up any of my badge or commission work.

Long time no see o: Fursuit, alt accounts and more!

I was planning to do a lot more art this year and whilst I have been doing a heck ton of badge trades ect, I haven't really done enough digital work that I'm proud of, so my FA has been kinda dead! D:
I'm still working through my To-do list with everything and will have a bunch of art and fursuits to show soon hopefully! :) I've finished Took as a partial and I'm working on her bodysuit and feet this week (all cut out, just needs sewing!) and then I'm on track to finish
and 
's partials for Confuzzled so we can all suit together, it's all of our first furry con, so we're hyped ^^
If you want to see the head of my suit, I've uploaded a quick shot to my gallery :D I'll definitely take some nicer ones once she's complete ^^ I went to a local con as her this weekend and met a ton of awesome furs! I'll try not to spam you all with photos xD aha
In more news I've made some fan/gift art accounts for Saffie and Took seeing as they're my main characters, I haven't completely filled them with recent stuff yet, but I'm going to be uploading them steadily until they're up to date :D These accounts are here

Posted 9 years agoHappy new year everyone! I hope 2016 is an amazing one for you all! :)
As you've probably noticed, I've been horribly inactive on FA recently D: Which is something I'm hoping to change in the new year! I only produced around 20 pieces of digital art the whole of last year and most of it I was really unhappy with, next year I'm planning on getting back into drawing digitally (poor tablet has dust on it!) and I'm going to make a new start on this FA (I've put all my 2015 uploads into scraps and hopefully filling up my gallery bit by bit, should motivate me a bit more!
I'm planning to become much more involved in the fandom this year, I went to my first few fur meets and outings last year and it was awesome fun so next year the plan is to go to even more, meet more people and be social again furry online spaces, as I've been super distant these past few years!
People who won sketchbook raffle prizes, I've messaged you on the current progress with them and also offered to exchange them from being a traditional piece or traditional sketchbook to a digital piece or some digital sketch pages! :) Sorry for the wait!
and finally, snapshotgoat and I have booked our tickets to Confuzzled! It'll be my first furry convention (unless southfurcamp counts) so I'm super excited! I'll be bringing a fursuit of Took that I'm working on finishing now and will be making him a partial of his character Snapshot for it too! (In exchange for vegan cake and a sofa to sleep on a few nights before the convention as it's an 11 hour journey for me, coming up from Cornwall! xD)

Free Sketchbook Art Raffle
Posted 10 years agoI just moved back from Uni and passed my animation degree with a 2:1 overall, which I'm super happy about :D
I'm off job hunting now, but to celebrate and considering I have a bit more time on my hands, I'm gonna do an art raffle (I also need some examples for my commission page, so this is a good chance to make some!)
So I'm gonna host an art raffle for a small A6 sketchbook filled with traditional sketches, coloured pieces, watercolour pieces, mixed media pieces, experimental pieces etc drawings of a character (or up to 4 characters) of your choosing! These are 30 - 40 pages, each with a drawing or a few drawings on! Some will be sketches, some will be a little more rendered and coloured ^^
I'd usually charge around £35 for these, so it's a great chance to get one for free! :)
How to enter-
-Comment below with your favourite colour and a ref of the character you'd want drawn :)
-You must be watching me (New watchers are welcome!)
-People who advertise the raffle (and link me the journal/submission) get an extra entry!

Back from Southfur, Possible Commissions and more~

I got back from Southfur a couple of days ago and move out of uni halls tomorrow, so I've been busy in a mess of boxes, packing sucks xD
The camp was amazing and I met a lot of awesome new people :) Usually I'm ridiculously shy and nervous around people I've just met but for some reason it's not the case with all of the furries I've met irl at all. I've felt pretty comfortable with all of them after hardly any time at all. Everyone I met was super nice, I reckon furs in general are just friendly and accepting people for the most part, everyone at the camp got on really well! ^^

Oh and lastly, I'm thinking of taking sketchbook commissions at some point, over the holidays. A shop near me sells tiny A5 sketchbooks with 40 pages in and now that I have more free time on my hands, I was thinking of doing commissions for filling up a whole book with a mixture of sketches/watercolour drawings/pencil coloured drawings/lineart/pastels of characters of the commissioners choosing ^^ I haven't quite figured out how I'd price them yet but I was thinking around £35 a book, delivered :) The price isn't set in stone though and I'd like to do a few examples first, I never know what to charge for my art!
But yush, that's all for now! :) Once I've moved back home, I'm hoping to get drawing a lot more and get back into doing art trades/commissions again ^^

I got back from Southfur a couple of days ago and move out of uni halls tomorrow, so I've been busy in a mess of boxes, packing sucks xD
The camp was amazing and I met a lot of awesome new people :) Usually I'm ridiculously shy and nervous around people I've just met but for some reason it's not the case with all of the furries I've met irl at all. I've felt pretty comfortable with all of them after hardly any time at all. Everyone I met was super nice, I reckon furs in general are just friendly and accepting people for the most part, everyone at the camp got on really well! ^^

Off to Southfurcamp and more~

Just a heads up that I'm gonna be offline from tomorrow until Monday, as I'm going to
(well, technically we leave to go there on Friday, but I'm staying other a friends house tomorrow and traveling up with him and 3 others early Friday ^^)
I'm ridiculously excited about it xD There's gonna be 43 other furs there, so it's the biggest furry event I've been to, by far :) Plus I haven't gone camping since I was 12 or something! So I'm looking forward to that too!
I wasn't planning to go originally, because I didn't think I'd know anyone there and I was worried about meeting new people, but I went to Devcon and met up with a bunch of furs and then went to a local
meetup that had an awesome turnout, so I know
and now at least :)
I've also finished university and move back home in 10 days, which is kinda sad D: I've felt kinda lost these past few weeks, everyone moving to different places in the UK/World when for the last few years all of my close friends have either lived literally the room next door to me or a £1 bus journey away. It's gonna be very strange adapting to living at my parents place again, rather than living with my best friends :c
I guess one good thing is, now I know some more local furs and have a friend who's setting up meets regularly for us, I'll at least have some local friends! I'm quite a shy and awkward person when first meeting new people and for the first time, I felt completely comfortable and was myself around everyone, even though I'd only known them half an hour! I'm hoping that's something that continues and I can become more comfortable with strangers in general, especially when it comes to finding a job ^^
Anyways, yeah, I'll talk to you all soon and probably make a journal about it when I'm back xD This weekend should be fun and interesting :D I'm pretty excited and a little nervous as that's still 39 people I don't know XD But if it's anything like the Truro meetup, I'm gonna love it :)
(Oh and by the way, would you prefer I use this account only for artwork and make another for fursuiting/photograph stuff? or is it not going to bother you if I upload it here? ^^)
