Over the years I've used a bunch of different names for the work I've posted, whenever I've wanted to change up styles or subject matters or if I lost passwords I just made something new--
main ones being kosiaks, skaffold, and treeborkd,

2018 commissions
Posted 8 years agoHey folks, it's been a bit since I made a journal so I figured I'd get on that, I'll divide it between a talking portion and an info portion for ppl who just want the information for next year
Talking portion:
This year I tried out taking commissions with mixed success, I often found I didn't always have availability to work on them in a timely manner which made folks have to wait longer than I wanted -- that was a huge problem for me! Cause you guys are doing *me* a favor by commissioning me, so I don't like making people who are helping me out wait an excessive amount of time. I had a lot of fun working on your pictures though, so I'll be continuing to take commissions next year, albeit in a highly limited capacity.
Info portion:
>Next year (2018), each month I'll open just 1 slot. (This ensures that even if I have a particularly busy month, commissioners won't have to wait more than that month to get their picture) Small chance of opening an additional slot if I have a relatively light month or finish a commission early on in the month.

That means this is the criteria for a commission once again:
1 or 2 characters, no backgrounds, sfw or nsfw, human or humanoid characters are OK.
So pretty much, same deal as before, only now there will just be 1 slot per month. Commissions help me pay bills, so I want to be considerate to the folks that help me do that by reducing the wait time :)

I received a note asking for some clarification on how this works, so I'll reexplain the important part--even if your name wasn't chosen this time around, it's still on the list, and you can add it to the list again next month, so, if you're still interested in a commission next month, I highly recommend that you put your name down again (as it will improve your chances of being chosen). Once someone has been chosen, all entries of their name are removed from the list (but they are welcome to add it again next month).
In general, people have usually only needed to put their name in twice to get picked (of course, it's still rng, so it varies), so try again! :)

*If you have commented on previous journals trying to get a commission slot, ie: if your name is already on the commission slot list from previous months, you can still commission me for a two character commission, but no new people will be able to put in their name for one of those. If you aren't sure if your name is on the list already, you can ask me and I'll check.

If you're still interested in a commission next month, I highly recommend that you put your name down again--by chance, the people who got the 3 slots this time around were all people who also responded to the first commission journal I made in February, so putting your name down multiple times does greatly improve your chances!

April commissions
Posted 8 years agoI'm sorry folks, I won't be able to take any commissions this month. I got food poisoning last monday, then picked up another bug while I was recovering from that, so I've been sick for almost a full week now. Unfortunately, that's all the time I had set aside in my schedule to do commissions for this month. However, I plan to resume doing them next month. I hope you all understand!

Just making this journal to let y'all know I'm done with the commissions I agreed to do this month (3 in total). It was my first time doing commissions, so taking on these 3 was a little experiment to see if I would want to do more commissions in the future. I really enjoyed working with all the folks who got slots this time, so I decided I will be doing 3 more commissions next month. As cool as it would be to do more this month, I simply don't have the time. Sorry :(
So, next month I'll make a new journal when I'm accepting new commissions. It'll work just like last time (comment in the April journal if you want a chance at a slot, slots are decided 2 days later by rng). To you folks who wanted commissions this month but didn't get a slot, you will still have your name on the list from last time, and you can comment on the new journal to have your name added a second time (both names will be removed if you get a slot).
That's all folks, hope you have a good month. I might have time do to a personal piece sometime, so we'll see! And to those wondering where the 3rd commission is, I was gonna post it tomorrow.

So, some news in my life--
Since winter is winding down, my part time barista position is getting canned along with it. It sucks, I liked the job a whole lot, but it was just a part time gig and I'm still working full-time somewhere else, so it's not devastating to lose out on it. However, I was using those paychecks to cover a few monthly expenses like food and phone bill, gas expenses and etc, yknow, living stuff that's apart from rent. My options are to just get another part time job, or maybe do 2-3 commissions each month to cover those things. I know I said earlier I preferred to keep drawing an activity I was doing just for fun, but if I cant get another barista position, I'd rather be drawing than enduring whatever other minimum-wage hell awaits me out there.
So, yeah, if there's any interest in commissioning me, let me know, cause I'm not even sure if that's something people might like from me or not. It would be just a few per month.

It looks like more people than I initially thought would be interested in commissions, so I'm going to give it a try. I still have shifts through the rest of February, so I won't be starting until March, but I will be making another journal with more information pretty soon. Thanks everyone :)

Since winter is winding down, my part time barista position is getting canned along with it. Uh, just a quick word about me
I'm doing art for a project that takes up most of my free time, but every now and then I like to take breaks to do some personal drawings on the side. And people in the furry community have always been friendly and chill, so I figured I'd make some furry art. That's what this account is for! Since this is all for fun, I don't do commissions or anything like that, and I probably wont post that often, but I appreciate the warm welcome
