Commission Terms of Service
Posted 8 months agoFor any commissions I accept, here are my current Terms of Service as of 18Jan2025
All commission requests must be submitted through the following form: Tritonˋs Commission Form
1. Correspondence
-After submitting the application form, all communication will be conducted through email (tritonartandmedia@gmail.com). This includes invoicing, work status, modifications, and delivery of the final product.
-If you need to change anything on the form, email me the corrections.
2. Payment
-Commissions must be paid in full before I begin. If I have not received confirmation of payment within 5 days; your slot will go to the next person in line unless we agreed upon a different timeline.
-Payments will be made through a Paypal invoice sent to your email (***You don’t need a Paypal account; they accept several forms of payment including credit/debit cards***). No other forms of payment will be accepted.
4. Refunds
-If I have not started the commission you are eligible to receive a full refund.
-I'll notify you when I start the commission. At which point you may be eligible for a partial refund depending on the amount of work completed.
-Refunds can take a few days to process and clear, please be patient.
5. Eligible Commissions
- I will NOT draw
-mature themes for anyone under the age of 18.
-underage characters in mature situations.
-body shaming
-discriminatory themes
-I'm open to most things, but I reserve the right to accept or not accept any commission for any reason. If you have any doubts; ask!
6. Gifts
-You may purchase gift art for another person so long as they also abide by these terms of service and they receive a copy of the high resolution art.
7. Completed Work
-You'll receive one low resolution work-in-progress (WIP) image. This will usually be a sketch with rough colors/patterns. You'll be permitted minor corrections at this stage. Once the corrections are agreed upon, I'll resume work.
-Once completed I'll email you 2 images; a hi-res and low-res. At this stage, only corrections to my mistakes are permitted (e.g., eye color doesn't match your ref sheet, I left out a detail in your original description, etc.). All corrections should be sent in a single email.
-I'll post the image to social media (unless otherwise requested) and tag you and owners of other characters in the art (unless otherwise requested).
8. Rights and Usage
You May:
-Post and share the image to social media (please tag me! I love seeing where my art ends up).
-Use the hi-res image for personal use (e.g., print outs, desktop wallpaper, etc.).
-Use the image as reference for other artists.
-Crop the image to use as an icon.
You May not:
-Use the art for personal promotion or advertisement
-Sell, publish, or otherwise profit off the image in anyway. Such as using it as a book cover or selling prints/stickers/dakimakuras/etc.
-Edit, color, or animate the image in anyway (or have someone else do it). This includes editing out the artist's signature/watermark.
***You may purchase any of these rights with an additional fee***
9. Acceptable Behavior / Right of Refusal
-The exchange of money for goods and services defines this as a professional transaction. As such, I will conduct myself in a friendly, respectful, and professional manor at all times. This includes providing prompt service and communication.
-Likewise, you should behave in a similarly friendly, courteous, respectful, and professional manor.
-If I feel a customer is being aggressive, abrasive, belligerent, or otherwise unsavory; I will cancel their commission and provide a refund.
-This is an application, not a guarantee; I reserve the right to refuse a commission.
