Nothing serious, was just tired of seeing that past journal, here's just some quick TL;DRs on the past couple of months

- I was given an upgrade to Clip Studio up to the "4.0 EX" version, so expect more animations from me, even if they're just quick lil' loops c:

- Been getting some proper help for some mental and physical problems I been putting off for years with licensed professionals, won't go into much detail besides I'm getting the help I been lacking.

- Commission Prices went up, but only by about $5 to $15 on the extra characters, background, and alts. Base price remains the same for the main/first character

- Overall really happy that folks have taken my attempts at a more casual, toon style (on top of my furry style) in a very positive light. Especially happy how well received both Shifty and Echo have been overall. I always wanted to make more OCs in the previous years, I just never had the drive to do so until recent months.

- Home life has honestly been really good. Both the room, boyfriend, and our two lovely cats are incredible and wouldn't trade them for the world, just maybe an upgrade on where we reside c:

- Lost a friendship with a longtime friend cause his discord is full of ... questionable people (but they pay his highest tier on Patreon so, they can be however vile they want to be) and when questioned him about this when someone was vile towards me, they'd rather get offended and block me than talk it out. Nothing else on this one, just annoyed years wasted on someone that sees friendships that disposable and fickle.

That's mostly it, besides that last one, it's been overall a good year, despite all things going on politically and just the world in general.

I am also experimenting in doing animated commissions (Starting $250USD $350 with an option to pay in 50:50 payments, first payment after the initial draft is accepted with the final as work is completed) that will more or less have the quality seen below. A bit of a ways out, but, I'm still alive here and there. Just been rather busy lately with moving around a lot and making sure things between myself and  vanftman are going stable as we move into the next step of our relationship.

So who's going to Midwest Furfest 2017? Me and  vanftman are going and were fortunate enough to find rooming with a couple of friendly cat friends . It's our first (furry) con so I'm just getting a scope on how these things go.

Well then, this is a bit embarrassing but, here's what going on with me for those curious as to where the heck I've been.

Still in New Mexico while in the USAF, happily living with  vanftman since his move down here from the lovely NorthEast. To be honest the little bit of artistic bones I had in me went on a complete hiatus for all of 2016 while trying to adjust to our new lives. I do have something in work for two of my friends  Mattocat and  nanaki-xiii that's really helping me get back into a swing of it. I have a terrible habit of giving people freebies and not owning up to them so I'm applying myself to break that habit.

I never really saw this as a career but I do love to see things through with finishing artwork for friends. I don't really know many people on here and never really felt part of this "fandom" at all to be entirely honest. (Most people I do talk with it's because they're decent folks and the furry part is just part of them)

I'm in Tech school for the USAF so I'm not going to be doing much work, busy with studies on planes and things.

Having gone to Pax South 2015 this past weekend, I have to say I remembered why I loved smaller conventions compared to their larger counterparts. This convention was by no means small overall, but it was a decent sized smaller than Pax East which was refreshing when trying to check anything out on the show floor. I met some great people and caught up with others during my stay, non of them really furries so I'll keep their details to a minimum other than they were great and I'd room with them for any occasion.

Now for the leave, I'm going to be leaving on the 3rd of February to Basic Military Training (BMT) as I begin my life into the Air Force. Until I graduate (8+ weeks from the 3rd), I am not sure when I'll have access to the internet for leisure. I know that I'm not really active on here as much as other artists are. In fact, I've really not drawn many things to completion recently and it has mainly been a slow hobby that I rarely visit these days. Regardless, having a good number of peers in this site it would be rude of me to not make some form of notice

To the few commissioners I've bought an illustration from, don't take offense if I don't respond to your finished piece. I'm not going to be around obviously but will give my thoughts and thanks promptly when I return. Until then, everyone, take care.

It's actually rather cool here compared to the east coast, which would sound strange but I prefer the dry hot weather over the sticky humid and hot weather I was used to in the east coast for about a decade. :B

I'm going to be moving towards the SouthWest US this upcoming week, but I will sketch the few things I have planned out while traveling. I will not have access to my main PC until the later end of this month so I will be on here and Twitter a lot less.

I'm not quite dead yet, just been incredibly inactive. I've done two new pieces this last week and I'll be doing more in the coming days and weeks. I'm making it a goal to at least keep my galleries active with a finished picture as regular as I can. Thanks to those who have favorited my last two submitions. I would love to thank each of you for the watches and favs but from what I understand that can come of as obnoxious so, really, thanks everyone for showing an interest in what I draw, it really is more than just appreciated.

I'm not going to make excuses but sometimes things don't go exactly as planned. Long story short, my PC had a critical system failure and most of my WiP has been lost. As a result to you directly, the progress I made on the group picture was lost and I'll have to start from scratch.

To make up for something that in the end, was entirely my fault, I offer you an alternative if you would like to take it.

If you would like to opt out of the group picture I can instead draw you something of your choice ( NSFW Examples in terms of quality) with a character of your choice (Doesn't have to be 18+, can be of anything so long as I'm not against the subject drawn)

Please use your FA name! It's really hard for me to figure it out and I don't wanna mix some stuff! When you send a message through Paypal DO NOT put that it is for anything relating to FA or the commission. Communication is your friend, tell me to your best abilities what it is you want drawn and how (I can get "Artistic freedom" if you so choose that you can't decide, but I want to make sure that you're happy with the end result).

So I've been thinking of updating my commissions page (or Journal Commissions Page) but the feeling
has been nagging me if anyone would be interested in them?

With Practice on the tablet now I can finish them quicker and not take up a full month or so
due to mouse and my OCD with getting things "too" neat and instead just focus on the picture as a whole.

Long story Short: This (NSFW) took about 6 hours to
finish when this took about 19 or so hours total time.

Prices would likely be $15 a character (full details and color, ect ect) and $17 if the designs are overly complex.
Both clean or NSFW (minus Scat / Watersport / Underage - Babyfurs (In adult scenerios) ).
I'm not too sure if I'd offer inks / flats just yet, and sketches are way too "sketchy" for me to think about pricing them.

EDIT: Backgrounds will likely be simple ones / basic color for now.

Pax East 2012 was a lot of fun, being my first big convention, it was a bit overwhelming seeing so many people no matter where you went. The lines and lines were probably the biggest joykill of the event (even lines for the restrooms!) but that's to be expected with a con that size.

Met with a few developers who were down on the show floor, mainly indi developers showcasing their fresh ideas (Monaco and Dust come to mind) while trying out the games they were so eager to show the world. The few panels I did go to were a blast and all around were some of the few things waiting in line for almost an hour was worth while for.

Met up with the group from 4PP (community wise) to eat out on Saturday, have to say I've never seen a place that serves mainly salads and pizza (all you can eat no less) and have your drinks in glass gauntlets with silverware and cloth, even had the pizzas delivered to our tables. Overall that was a huge success as there was a great turnout of people who showed up, both old and new, with no one in particular acting a fool (at least not like I expected in worst case scenario)

Overall, I'm glad I didn't opt out of going (even if I have to make up the money now ;-; ) but I will say, train rides take way too long ;-; (still on a train as of this journal from last night)

The latest (and proper) installment in the Assassin's Creed franchise has been shown to take place during the American Revolution, as shown in the updated box art today. Although it was leaked and speculated before the official word got out today, it's going to be interesting what new ideas and gameplay mechanics they put in AC3.

What do you guys think about this news?

Apparently a drawing I did for a past friend has been brought to my attention when someone showed me that it was posted online. Don't really understand how it was there to begin with considering I only showed him the image and I'm sure he wouldn't have posted it considering the nature of it. :B

I've heard it's possible to have your HDD hacked or whatever, but furry stuff? Something doesn't fit the bill.

I can't help but laugh a bit considering all the attention all those online governing bills and laws have been getting and with this coming out of nowhere. Life sure is full of surprises.

Is it possible to have that? Pretty much motivation for anything is out the window and all I've been doing for these last couple of months is looking for employment (several interviews but no call backs to actually work) which is really what kept me busy. Just being around here waiting for any phone call is pretty hard on motivation when it comes to drawing / doing anything.

I don't know these last couple of months have been pretty shit in contrast, probably one of the worst things to do was to move up to VA (military family relocation) not to mention several friends I've known have just pretty much left all together from contact.

Anyone been through one of these recently? I know it'll get better eventually (Just gotta keep trying and, ya know, all that good stuff) just needed to vent this out right now. I'm not even going to say "I'll start drawing when I feel better/ some other BS / etc" since I haven't really felt that passion in a long time (Sorry Sebby)

TL;DR: Terrible mood, isolation from any social interaction isn't helping.
