I think the hardest part about all of this is that, despite all of this stuff going through my head, I haven't been able to cry. At all.

That always seems to be what fixes everything, a good, long, nothing-held-back cry. And I just can't do it, no matter what I do.

For me, depression isn't feeling constantly sad, it's constantly feeling a lack of emotion. It feels like there's a hole in my chest that I can't fill. Just this empty void of emotionless... Nothing.

I desperately just want to feel something. Anything. Something beyond passive things.

Again, I'm sorry to be such a downer. I just want to get this out of my head and into the world.

I'm just going to be honest; I've been in a dark, dark place for a while.

I haven't been very talkative for that reason. Even though my finals are over, and even though I passed them, my mind is still damn near rock bottom right now. There have been a few nights where I got close to the edge, and it's been extremely scary.

My mind has been racing in a constant downward spiral, always gravitating toward the worst case scenario. I'm scared that, somehow, I've hurt the people I love and care for, and I've had this constant feeling of this strange, numb dread that I can't shake. I'm ashamed to admit to the kinds of thoughts that have been coming into my mind.

I don't know why I'm really writing this, to be honest. I guess I just want to communicate why I've been so quiet and get this all off of my chest. This is a really scary, nerve-wracking time for me, and I'm sorry. I wish I could just constantly be the fat, happy lizard you all enjoy seeing get into big shenanigans, but I just haven't been myself as of late.

I don't really expect anything from posting all this, I just want to be honest about where my head is at. I'm sorry that it's so dark.

Hey there, everyone. So, before I go any further, I would like to make something as clear as possible.

I am not stopping my work on commissions, even though they are going at a significantly slower pace than I would like them to be.

Good! Now that that's out of the way, let's get down to business.

Simply put, my schoolwork load has been quite the nightmare as of late, and the motivation to write's been rather difficult to come by as a result. While I am still trying to chisel away at my current commission queue, it's undeniable that my current pace is rather slow. However, I have become far more financially stable since I took these commissions.

So, what am I getting at here?

The important takeaway here is, if you would prefer not to wait for much longer on my commission queue, I am able to provide a full refund to you, no questions asked.

As I said, I am not stopping my work, but I understand that many people won't want to wait for potentially months more as I work on both my schoolwork and my commissions. Should you wish to have your commission refunded, please send me a message, and we will get it squared away as soon as possible. In the meantime, I will continue to work on my queue.

My second cat has been put down at 8:15 last night. I'm going to be out of it for a while because of this, so I just want people to know why.
